It was fun in the beginning, but now you can not grow and fight properly! You have to pay and pay more.

The updates never end. I don’t know why anyone would start this nonsense game anymore. There are better ways to spend money, buy a car, buy a house.

Играла в эту игру 4 года) игра не плохая в целом…была 😁 за последние 2 года игра сильно испортилась в своей игровой политике) итог битвы всегда можно понять, до начала битвы. Обновления с добавлением новых платных нищтяков, почти каждый месяц. Следственно донатные игроки растут в геометрической прогрессии, в то время когда даже средний донатный игрок в статистике в 2 раза меньше) очень плохой баланс в игре стал. 2 года назад была отличная игра, я бы сказала даже лучшая, сейчас спустя 4 года игры, я ее удаляю, потому что от «стратегии»» в этой игре осталось лишь само слово, но ничего всё что связано с этим словом)

I love this game
The game
This game was fun, but then it wasn’t. All of a sudden they wanted you to get stronger. They keep bringing in new weapons and dragons, and then new creatures. Every new expansion comes with new abilities, unless you want to pay for it, you will lose. They will give you a lot of things, forcing you to get stronger, but they will strip you of your resources. The top players have quite the game, because unless you pay for it you can never win. I have been playing this game for 10 years, now I am out. I paid $500. Do not let this game fool you.
A welcome change…
It’s refreshing to have a combat player vs player strategy game that is not pay to play, or at least not to the normal level. It is nice to see the resources are mostly protected, so there is less incentives for other players to attack lower players. It’s a real welcome change to not always be getting announcements that you have been attacked! The only drawback is I wish it was more active and had more people in it. But I realize that there are many similar games out there. The only suggestion I have is more control in the troops, so you can select what troops go where, etc. but that’s not something any game of this type does. There is a lot going on, but not in a bad way! And it is relatively easy to level up without paying, or a very minimal amount. Good job, overall!
Used to be good but not anymore
Absolutely loved it years ago. No balance anymore; you gotta spend and not just spend but you gotta spend heavy to be able not to compete but at least defend lol so.. its becoming pointless

If you’re a billionaire and don’t care to waste money, this is the game for you. The game is a fun game, it’s just that it requires a lot of money to be able to compete with other’s, and to maintain your castle. Also they have a lot of updates, it’s something new every week that requires thousands of dollars, that’s right, you heard me, thousands, not hundreds, but thousands. But anyways, if you’re a billionaire or millionaire and got money to burn, this is the game for you.✌️

Issue to update ice dragon
I have been playing Rise of the Kings for Good few Years now and didn’t have much problems till this moment and I hope that you can help. I am trying to upgrade my ice dragon to level 100 but for the long time shows that I have 99.9% and doesn’t go to 100% to evolve the dragon. Thank you
Pay/control
This game starts out good but as you progress I noticed that to get somewhere as far as leveling up you have to go through the developers controlled loop holes or pay to get around them. Games should be fun not controlled.

A great game but
I have played this great game for over 6 years. With no real issues unfortunately 2 updates ago I stopped receiving rewards including the monster core for killing monsters around he kingdom. This is now a two week issue for me I have left a message for help but unfortunately so far to no avail I would appreciate this bug being fixed Thankyou
Was cool
This was a balanced game with very little help and guidance now they’ve combined some things and it’s no longer equally balanced and players 10-20 times stronger are hitting the much weaker players which will on frustrate players and kill this game slowly. I’d suggest trying something else unbalanced and pay to play isn’t worth the time unfortunately

Игра интересная, но разработчики очень жадные, за все пытаются вытянуть деньги, запускают все новых героев, чтобы люди тратили на повышение мощи, не тратишь деньги=не можешь бороться! Так же после каждого обновления есть косяки и баги, которые они исправляют обычным откатом в твоих характеристиках, не вникая что ты улучил/построил/повысил не на баге, а самостоятельно, как итог потеря больного количества медалей, которые добываются с большим трудом!

Monster siege
I really do not like the way you have it where you can not upgrade your castle unless you pass that monster siege battle. It is taking the fun out of playing the game. It is taking to many steps to be able to move your castle up in levels. Please go back to the original way of leveling up.
Game got greedy
When I first started playing this game customer support were excellent. Now the game is all about draining as much money from people it can. It’s all about how much you can spend rather than actual strategy.
Game ok but pay to win
Game is ok itself. Good to play, lots of stuff to do and enjoy BUT……… It’s a BIG PAY TO WIN. If you don’t spend lots of money you are nothing. It’s nearly impossible or will take 5 years (or more) to get important Gold heroes. Not to mention Red ones…. So if you want to spend thousands of your money go ahead. But if you don’t want to spend money don’t even start. Or you will get addicted to the game but you will be nothing, spenders will ALWAYS beat you.
Good game
I’ve been playing this game for nearly 3 years and I do recommend people to download it and join in with the fun, the only negatives to this game is to be amongst the best you have to spend and everytime you catch up something new is getting released in an update 😅 but you can still be powerful without spending just not powerful enough to lead your kingdom into battles. it’s highly addictive and you will meet some amazing people from around the world.

The game has become only about the money, so many have left they have events trying to get current players to get ones that left to come back,

Love the game but can’t keep up!
I genuinely think RoK is a great game, I’ve met a lot of good people and mostly enjoy the game play. However I consider myself a medium spender of about £300 a month and I have found that I simply cannot keep up with the frequency of updates. Because of this my £300 a month has me a mediocre account at best. I simply think that someone who spends around £4000 a year on a game shouldn’t be feeling pressure to spend significantly more to stay relevant.

This game has slowly added more and more demon content. I have written to support repeatedly about how offensive this is , but to no avail. Now this new event, everything has gotten a demon. Worshipping a demon, levels of demons. Many will leave over this.

Good game great visuals
This is a fairly entertaining and easy to play game. There are lots of little extra games within the main game to keep you busy. Unlike some similar games you don’t need to rely on in-app purchases to play well. There is also lots of forums where they give you advice on how to play better or get good scores in events
Have to spend money to do well
Played this game for a little over a year. Spent many hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands even. Problem is, you can’t change locations after level 6. I got stuck in a region with several rich bullies that we couldn’t complete with and made progressing any further impossible. I ended up abandoning my entire account in the end. If you’re rich, you can do well. If you’re into free to play, you’ll only get so far and end up leaving the game eventually. There’s so many other better RPG games where you can progress at your own pace and budget. The game itself is fun, extremely well put together and addictive but unfortunately ruined by the rich bullies

Good game but need a small improvement
I’ve played this game for about 2 years now and have leveled up my castle pretty hi I have a great group that I’ve made friends with inside the game!!! All amazing positives.... what should make it a 5 star game But it’s in need of adjustment I suggest that you change your no moving to Kingdoms after level 6, but add the restrictions to more spend friendly players that they can’t go into Kingdoms that have an average player base lower then theirs, ie: level 30 castle can’t go to a Kingdoms that have average players at level 10. That developers actually need to listen, read and act on players that aren’t playing fairly... I have a jerk in my kingdom that is really highly ranked, he’s extremely rich because he had dropped at least $10,000 on the game has two castles in two different kingdoms both stronger then anyone else. He attacks you and everybody else, and has more power then 20 people returning the attack at the same time. Complaints have been made and nothing done to move him to another kingdom were he has more challenges instead of making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Hey developers... hint hint nudge nudge 1 player spending $10000 you loose because he can’t take advantage of others Or 10000 $100 players you loose because they can’t compete and don’t like playing a game that they have no chance in. I studied basic economics in high school do you guys need help?
Awesome game
I’m not one for leaving reviews but this one deserves it… So after playing many of these type of game this is the first one that you can actually grow reasonably quick WITHOUT spending your hard earned pennies yes you still get the players that do spend but you will get that in any game . There are plenty of events to keep the game enjoyably different it’s well worth the download.
This game is a fraud
Do not put money in to games like this one.In fact I find it to be quite boring and difficult to even get enything done in game at all So much for beginners protection if you can call it that with the way this game try’s to cheat its way out of players income now their is a reason why I say this my city has been stuck at level 11 on all upgrades do to lack of troops in a march and no resreach for march conpacity.not to mechen the fact that I can’t even level up my armor do to lack of munturs in my area the highest level we have is level 10 so I can’t get the metrals to do the upgrades to my armed.your game is to unfair to play in its current state

I downloaded this game because on the advert it looked similar to Forge of Empires. It’s not, more of a war strategy type game.
Ok.
It’s possible to get along in the game without spending money, but the minute your shield drops and you’re asleep, you lose everything you’ve spent months building. There should be a way to compensate for the gap between those who are able to spend money and those who aren’t.
