Lot of fun!
Coming back to play because this game fun! There’s not updates that ruin the game. It doesn’t make you spend a lot of money for countless updates. The only thing it needs is more pve and pvp events.

Don’t waste your money it was a great game when it first started but the devs have ruined it . Not enough advances for lower level players and to hard to replace resources and train troops . No matter how much you write and complain to the devs it falls on deaf ears . My advice go find another game

I just downloaded the game i been playing for few hrs the game it look promising but I don’t like that new players needs to upgrade their base using gold to go the next level i had played similar games in the past and we used resources to level the base not the gold I wish you can change the way players build their building and keep the gold for something more important than wasting it on the buildings that ask for gold if you can change it to using just resources more players will download the game and it will stay on the game

Tbh it’s a fun game no doubt and yes you will have to spend money to get bigger but it’s not like you think or what other reviews say….I still play this game and yes I spent a couple dollars but it was worth it. They will give you plenty of resources,speeds,and more if you just complete the Quest given. Find you a good strong alliance and have fun don’t listen to others. They are the ones who didn’t even try the game
Bad Game
This game could be better if they did more to support players. Events are geared towards earning rewards which you will need to spend money to reach highest levels of rewards. The problem is lack of information regarding these events and it is setup that way so you fail. This will cause you to spend more money. Also game uses setup players who are the whales they are there to stir up drama and cause more spending. I would go to almost any other pay to win game over this game and their horrible customer support.
Unfair rule of many clans.
There should be more than a 2 day absent rule. Not everybody can be in game every day all day. I’ve stopped trying to become a member of a clan because if I’m gone more than 12 hours (over night even) I log in and I’ve been kicked out. It isn’t fair at all!
Worst War Simulation
It’s a massive pay to win game and not a lot of kingdoms to go to that are newer player friendly every time the bigger clans wipe your base unless you can afford to Sheild every day of your life to avoid losing troops That Take forever to train. Honestly there’s better games out there than this game Avoid this game at all cost unless you got Money to spend. And Honestly Don’t trust the developers saying they will work on improving the game they don’t and it’s all honestly a lie.
Not much to gain here
This is a pay to play game. You can’t compete without spending at least over 80k on it. If you go by just event to complete anything will take more than 20 years. Not only that, rich players are the main prize. With many people being harassed in and out of game. Being threatened and tossed racial insults, innocent players get muted and banned same day, those throwing insults and bullying it take days for devs to even do anything let alone read your reports if there’s too much evidence. Moderators who may have personal relationships with the developers and rich alliance players seem to protect them, more than smaller players. Therefore toxic behavior and bounties are allowed by bigger alliances. Many players with 50 accounts to make it seem like everyone is against you. While small players who fight back or talk back are quickly banned and tossed aside taken weeks for actions to be done to even protect smaller players. You can’t block players because they can see you and make it seem like everything you say is bad if you don’t screen shot everything to send back to protect yourself. The game all in all is good, but it’s more for rich players with no morals. And smaller players who are with rich players that have threatened women for nudes and said rude things and racial insults. This game should be condemned for such lack of oversight and putting personal relationships and interests before the integrity of the game.

They only help with the side with people that buys lot of things and don’t settle things out making other alliances out of the game.
Poor transparency and consistency with events
I like this game but getting tired of the inconsistencies in events. The definition of spoils tiles changes and you can find yourself getting no points whereas in other events this counts. If you’re a small player you can’t complete events as the developers want you to spend money to open special buildings. Feels like GoW all over again. Don’t bother downloading,
Frustrated player
Unfortunately this game is going down the same path as GOW, the game has become unplayable for non spenders or low spenders, unless you want to spend most of the time under a shield collecting the ridiculous amount of resources just to train T5 troops or heal them after a battle that will mean you spend months recovering this game is not for you, if you want to spend thousands then you may be ok until the next update then to keep up you spend more and more. The developers do not seem to be bothered about players except the large spenders, I have been playing for several years and decided to walk away and look for another platform.
Will not load
With the last two updates the game will no longer load on my phone. My castle has been zeroed. My hero is gone. I am done. It was fun until now. But with the loss of everything and not being able to load the game, it is over.

Going the way of GoW
When I first started GoK, it was a great alternative to Game of War. The devs asked for feedback and they didn’t add new features every week. Once the HD version was released, things went downhill. The HD version is almost unplayable on my phone. The phone starts overheating and the lag, just scrolling around the kingdom, gets worse the longer I’m on HD. I can switch back to the old version and things run smoothly again. But the new events only show up on the HD version. Now they are introducing t5 troops and other new events just to keep the 20 or so players that are massive spenders happy. If you start the game now, you’ll never catch up to the “bigs”. I have left my alliance, put up a 30 day shield, and I’m not sure I’ll be back. I hate to give up on a game I’ve put so much time and money into, but I can see it going the way of GoW. It was fun for a long time, but the devs don’t listen and only cater to 5-figure spenders.

New attack gear AGAIN new SM lvl 100 new building upgrades to 50 keep catering to the spenders they aren’t going to have anyone to fight. This is game is so unbalanced rewards suck events suck. No wonder players are quitting.

Been playing this game for couple of years after gow went to pieces. GOK is Brilliant game, lots of fun with alliance and Kc chats. It’s great pass time working on the sh. Developers please keep it simple for everyone who downloads it and want to play. Grey K3 and K29 MK* tags
Aimless
I’ve played a lot of strategy games, that’s my thing, however when I’m playing I look for the flow ability and event’s with awards. This game has none of those qualities. There are no set goals no events that are of any quality, monsters that you have to hit ten times before you get anything. The alliances are non cohesive there are no events as an alliance advancing together. This game is an endless aimless waist of time.

I initially downloaded this game in order to get the 1000 swagbucks reward after reaching level 27. I didn’t receive the reward or get any confirmation or news about it being connected. Other than that, the game is confusing and the screen is cluttered but somehow it’s still oddly addictive.

Not iPad Friendly
I have been playing this for awhile and have been frustrated by the lack of support for the iPad. The game runs fine for the most part but has big issues in relation to the iPad (both the official and the HD development versions). There are various screens that restrict the iPad users and, in my opinion, place these users at a disadvantage. These users have to scroll more, are unable to access some functions due to display issues and have to restart the game to get out of some screens. Admin has said they are working on these issues but that story is getting old. If you plan to play on an iPad, I would recommend that you wait until improvements are completed.

This is a pay to win game. It takes over 20 years to graduate your castle from level 39 to 40 .. 20 real life years for that. There are No online directions, there is NO online manual whatsoever. There is NO online reference for any gameplay anywhere. All answers are generated via Customer Support, which can take 3 to 90 days to get an answer. Customer Support answers are never complete and usually require weeks of intervention .. and if you ever want a manager to contact you, it will never ever ever happen. Avoid this pay to win Game

I’ve played these types of games for a long time and had high hopes for gok , after the capitulation of gow and all the available players out there I feel gok did not make the most of a great opportunity, hardly no updates and the long wait for new kingdoms made this game boring after a wile , i liked the fact they didn’t want to go update crazy like gow and annoy players but you need to keep things fresh and exciting also . Gok can still be a great game and dominate the space but not as things stand now
