Great if you have money
This is a great and fun game to play but now they only update pay to play stuff and events. Unless you have endless amounts of time to play it’s hard to stay competitive. Unless you have a ton of free time or money to spend on this game keep looking for a more recent game to play.

This game is not much of anything unless you are willing to spend money and a lot of time on it you will not gain anything unless you get packs and even then you will not be rewarded unless you spend enough

When I started playing this game I was really like.. what? It isn’t the Best, I have to say. Plus, if you want to not be attacked 24/7 you have to spend a fortune 🔮! I did not do this because I saw it was a scam and I am only 10 years old. I deleted this game pretty quickly cause I got bored.

Game Performance Took a Nosedive
I have enjoyed the game for a little over two years, but about a month ago the game performance declined significantly. In the last 2 weeks, starting the game is next to impossible - it starts to load and then crashes. This repeats sometimes up to 5 times before I can finally get into the game and then crashes again once I’m in the game. Any time I leave the game - to check chat apps or another game - I have to restart the game and go through the multiple crashes before I can get in. It sometimes takes nearly 5 minutes just to get into the game…enough time for a rally to hit. If this doesn’t get fixed, I may as well delete my troops myself instead of getting zeroed simply because the game couldn’t start.

Its 90% identical twin to IGG’s game Lords Mobile. They just use a diff skin and call things by diff names - in many ways this game is easier to make progress for a F2P player imo. However, there are PLENTY of ways to spend thousands of dollars here. Recent update introduced some weird click-highlight thing.. makes it almost unusable. Assuming they fix this recently introduced feature that has ruined their UX/UI - its an okay game. If they don’t fix it, don’t bother.

Dodgy practices and tactics to get you to spend
This game is fine tuned to promote habitual tendencies for those prone to gambling. There are always multiple promotions that are meant to entice players to spend with misleading descriptions that are packed with technicalities or loopholes for IGG to hint at a possible deal, but ultimately not deliver. Once any purchase is made, there are no refunds or method of escalation to refute any misinterpretations of their poorly worded promotions. On top of everything, IGG is simply the least generous game developer I have ever encountered. If you are pondering playing this game, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere before this developer gets a hand in your pockets. Read the other reviews here. It’s optimized to be a blatant money grab and players don’t really matter or get any real consideration.
Love it at times
Yes it reminds you of league, but it has it’s own style of game play to it and tactics you can use learning how to play is fairly easy too. There are sometimes glitches in the game but above all is really good, just wish they were more clear about some events.

Game good but needs significant changes to levelling as unbalanced
Good game been playing for quite a while but can never really expand much more than 100K and generally get hammered by the big guilds and their Lords which takes weeks to rebuild. Whilst I understand this is part of the game to attack and beat others, there should be some sort of levelling and balancing built in. Some players clearly spend reams of cash to get to the levels they are at and then hammer the smaller users which probably leads to a loss of players who get bored of this. There is no skill in being a player with 1Billion Strength constantly hitting players with 10-100m. Why not set a balancing level that would ensure these players tackle someone of their own level (+ or -20%). You never see these players attacking anyone near their own strength. Example of unbalanced game below. Player Xxxxxx near K18 location with over 1billion strength, has just hit 30 castles with 5M to 80M. No surprise who won these battles.

The game is really fun, but it has problems updating
Don’t play this game
It uses every dirty trick to get you to buy stuff. It is fun at first. You can grow quickly and there is plenty to do. But the higher you get, the more it slows down. Everything takes money and it always seems like just one more thing will make you competitive. You will never be competitive. No amount of time or money will get you caught up. Players with 2 years on this game will always beat you and set you back. Customer service is the worst. They will take the server down before events end and everything you put into the event is lost. They will never compensate you. They want you to have to buy things multiple times. There are literally vital quests that have timers over 2 years. The only way to finish is to use money and there is always just a little more you need to buy. Don’t play this game. You can never win.

Or don’t bother with it. Either way it’s whatever you put into it. Find some good people to play with and just remember it’s just a game. Gameplay is pretty basic and not all that complicated.

Irresponsible behavior
I have been playing this game for almost 2 year now and I have 2 accounts. It was all good and fun till lately as I’m having an issue with my main account in the game. Lately I’ve been attacked 3 times and I wasn’t even given any resources to heal my army. When it happened the very First time i didn’t act on it as I had enough resources and thought it might be a bug in the game. But then again I was attacked and I had 800k army which was defending and my infirmary(hospital) was empty and it has 1.03 million count capacity to hold in it. But as I said I was attacked and 800k army was defending. So in first 2 attacks which my army defend they all got killed and besides sending them to the infirmary while it’s empty I had dead soldiers which is not supposed to be happen but it did. Then next 2 attacks my army went to infirmary and I ended up loosing 120k out of 800k. But while my 800k army supposed to be went to infirmary as I was defending. So I wasn’t supposed to have dead soldiers while defending but it still did plus I didn’t get anything resources compensation for these attack as well. Then again third time my castle was attacked and I took beat and lost 103k army as my infirmary maxes to it’s limit and after injuries 103k just died in defense. But again I didn’t get any resources compensation from the Igg. So what was my option anymore. So I decided to contact them. I reported my issue with them right before I was attacked for third time. They came up with an decision that was nothing wrong or they didn’t find any issue on the server. So sorry as they can’t do anything about it. I reached out to them again for the same issue. So they re-opened the report once again and while they were resolving my concern. I was attacked for third time and I gain reached to them for that concern as well. Meanwhile my small castle was attacked and it had 200k soldiers in there. So When I was attacked and defending my city my complete army went to infirmary without having any dead soldier plus I lost my leader in that defense too. But I was given resources for that. So here is the crazy thing. When I was first reached out to the live support team. I was told that maybe the attacker was way to strong to demolish your Army that’s why you had dead soldiers. Let me tell you my cattle was 343m and the person who attacked me was 287m. I was in economy talents and gears. So I lost to him. Also, my small castle was only 42m when it was attacked and the person who attempted was 220m might account. But I still didn’t had any dead soldiers in my small castle plus I got resources to heal my army. I can’t understand what’s happening and why is happening but something is definitely wrong and Igg isn’t helping me at all. As they keep saying there is nothing wrong and they didn’t find any issue with the server. So they can’t do anything about that. I got an email back from them about that concern either and they just denied to take responsibility This is what’s they have replied me with “ Dear Player: Hello! My name is Tristan, I am a Game Support Representative from IGG and I can advise you on this matter. We appreciate your patience while waiting for our response and for spending your precious time to get in touch with us. We totally understand it must be indeed frustrating that you have experienced this issue at hand. The investigation was not expected to last long, and indeed it took less than the time we expected. Love it with one tiny annoyance lol
So let me preface this review stating that this is the first review I’ve ever done despite owning a smartphone over a decade. I love this game and it’s fun. Even with a guild it looks like you won’t ever get stuck, you’ll always have supplies and such. The only downside with a game like this is those that have money to splurge that they can skyrocket in levels VERY rapidly and it has those that can’t afford to spend at a disadvantage. I do realize that the developers need to make money but it disproportionately affect those who don’t have money. I can’t gripe about that but it may affect the game in the long run when the only people that are left are those that have money and they are already maxed out in levels. On to the tiny annoyance I see in game. I understand making the game kid friendly and censoring certain words but the developers are going about it the wrong way because it affects even the most benign words. You’re censoring the spellings of the words rather than the whole word itself. Like in the word passing contains the word ass but it’s silly that you would even censor that part. We would see p***ing and the translation wouldn’t work for those as well. That’s not a curse word. I recommend the developers to change their censoring to focus on full word censoring rather than just the spellings themselves. I know that regex matching can be tricky but they are doable. Just like most games only worth playing if u willing to pay to get your power, otherwise you’ll just keep on getting attacked and having to start again to build your army that takes days to rebuild

This game is great to pass time
I wanna start my review off with saying that this game is truly beautiful and I love the detail of the graphics in this one, how each character has unique styles to them, the battles, the building, everything is amazing for a mobile game and greatly unique. Ive been playing IGG’s apps for years and have grown into a huge fan of their apps. Although I’ve been having some trouble though with this like I do with Brave Conquest, this game seems to crash after 30 minutes most of the time when playing it and this issue really makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience of Mobile Royal. I love all of IGG’s game and have been a fan for years and experienced similar issues but not this bad. It’s why I’ve only given my rating four stars and would change it if this issue is fixed in the future, same with Brave Conquest. I’ll look forward to playing it more and hopefully growing into a fan of another great IGG game✌️
Unbalanced
It is actually a great game to play, but frustrating and also very unbalanced - you can lose a weeks worth of might in a single attack against you, which means you either need to buy shields constantly or just never grow into a stronger city. Waste of time until they change they update it.
Buggy as hell
I’ve got my game set to automatic update and have the latest version yet every single time I try and view any of the vaults it just says “action failed: outdated game version” Also I made an in app purchase (only a 99p one) but I’ve STILL not received anything from the package I bought yet my paypal account has been charged. If it wasn’t for those few faults I’d happily drop a 5 star review because the game itself is very well balanced

I think this game is underrated. Definitely a 5 star game, I would recommend to those looking for a RTS with dragons. Enough content to keep you coming back for more. Good job on this one.
