Really fun to play this classic game. My mother taught me years ago and we would play together for hours. This game brings back fond memories. Thank you 🙏
Fake virus warnings
Recently I started getting fake virus warnings / scareware. I uninstalled the game, cleared my history and reinstalled, but I’m still getting the scareware adds. I liked the game, but had to permanently delete it. Need to fix this infiltration.
Please explain
How to knock when having chosen an Oklahoma game. It always reverts to a gin rummy game. I prefer knocking.
Cards are off
I used to love this particular gin rummy game, all of a sudden it stopped letting me towards the end of the game ignores 3 of a kind and other cards to make a run please fix it.
Difficult
What's difficult is to know whether I've ginned or not in straight gin. The program arranges the cards , you can't arrange them yourself. The program decides that you've ginned, not you. I like that the game lets you choose the type of game, though.
Last update is great
Kinks from the last few updates have been fixed. The game is playing better than ever.
Scoring
The game gets gin wrong fairly often! The game Will decide to go with ace, 2, 3, 4 when you also have 2 other aces. Very frustrating. Now it’s changed showing the results of the previous hand above the score for some reason. Really? That’s what you change? I’ve played for quite awhile but I’m done

Was great, but Feb update has glitch
Feb 2024 update includes sorting changes that glitch out and cause invalid melds upon laying off. The sorting animations are less smooth as well. This app is better than most others for single player Gin. Wish it had multiplayer even if just pass and play.

Gin rummy
I agree with the previous poster. I have never had (in hundreds of games)a gin hand on first round but he has happened against me multiple times. I don’t mind a hard game that what my setting is but I don’t want to play against a cheater regardless of who or what it is. I’ve won many games, the stats are in my favor. I don’t like rigged games. So so long.
Freezes
I love your game, but recently it sometimes freezes - it has no option to take a card — so the only option is to forfeit the game — frustrating!! I tried to provide this as feedback, but it wasn’t able to send. Can you fix it please? Thanks!
Terrible
This app is really bad full of ad’s and you can’t get out from them. They lock the game up because you can not close them. If you want to go crazy down load this app. Others are better
Just Okay
Pretty good - simple, clear, and easy. Despite my complaints, I still have had hours of mindless fun. But no options to sort my cards and, honestly, at makes some really dumb decisions on grouping that I can’t get around. Super frustrating. Also, I sometimes get the glitch of not being able to discard. Fair for free :)
Holding gin hand
Why does the app sit holding a gin hand until I lay down a gin to get an undercut What player would continue to hold gin. Certainly not in a game for points. What’s up? I have played a couple hundred games and the computer deals itself a lay down hand, but I have never been dealt a gin! I have tried several names and even my name is unavailable. Are you trying to make submissions to review difficult or impossible? Look at the published rules for the game. A player going gin can never be undercut!,, More games and it continues to sit on gin , undercutting a gin hand. It has increased in frequency. It has distorted the entire game! This app is crap! You need to figure out how to shuffle the deck. The same card sets appear over and over. The same hands!

Ads at the bottom are annoying
An older version of this app had the ad banner at the top. I could deal with that. When I got my new iPad and downloaded the app, ads are at the bottom. I can no longer play this game because of the constant flashing ads that are situated slightly over my cards. Please move the ad banner back to the top and limit the number of animated ads.
Problems
Since the upgrade the play is messed up. Very slow. Doesn’t put cards in suits or runs. Just gets stuck.

I agree with the earlier commenter who indicates the AI cheats, it really does. Holds cards you need until you discard them and counts cards.

Yea, all of a sudden I NEVER get the cards I do on Medium, and AI gets Rummy in 3 Moves! Sorry, this one isn’t fun.
What did you do to a perfectly good game?
Recently I was asked to download the upgrade and what a mistake that was. The newer version is very jumpy and now it has decided to let me play one turn then it disappears. It was especially jerky when ads were running across the bottom which I managed to hide as they are very distracting. After several years of playing I am now looking for an alternative gin rummy game. Why can’t you leave well alone?

...game. Played three rounds..learned what to tap when... took 2 games to do that...how about some instructions?? When the first game started, I just stared at the screen...sure enough, I tossed away the third queen by mistake because I hit the wrong thing.....BTW, I won twice....😁😁😁😁

After playing your game a number of times and why do one have to be on line to play when it’s a single player app? So did some research and come to find out this game is a Phishing App. Looking for information, keystrokes, passwords, bank info. Ect.
Bug Fix Required
Can the developers take a look at why it's possible to draw another card just as the opponent either knocks or goes gin? This needs to be disabled I think.
Too many gotcha’s and hang-ups
I agree with commenter that is frustrated with AI frequently undercutting when I only an ace left - bull crap. Also, I’ve experienced several game hangups where my draw card is not shown and I have to discard a card I don’t want to discard in order for the game to continue. Finally, I’m always dealt a lousy start compared to AI who more often than not gets to knock very early in the game. Not really a fair competition to the point that I just end the game in frustration.
Glitches
Great for the first few games but then it seems like the app gets tired. It will throw my card off screen so that I cannot use it until I pick another card. It will knock after I have picked another card so I have more cards then I should when the AI goes out. It gets frustrating. It’s not smooth playing.

I love this gin rummy app. I often play this while waiting in doctors offices. The only gripe I have is that the Final Score function no longer works on my iPad. Could developer do an update to include that feature?
Can’t play offline
Have had this game for years and played it every time I flew or didn’t have service. Now the game requires internet connection to play. Would not recommend if you don’t have constant service or don’t mind excessive advertisements
Major bug please fix!
I find this game user friendly. The graphics and sound feedbacks are adequate. I tried several other gin rummy games and think this one has the most pleasant balance of card dealing speed and ad frequency. However, there’s this bug that really bugs me. Every 10 games or so, it happens that my opponent knocks after I draw a card. It would be ok if the system ignores the extra card I have. But it doesn’t! Imagine you have only 2 points and you draw a K, only to find that the opponent has just knocked at the same time, say with a total of 8 points. So instead of an undercut plus +6 (+31 points), you now are -6 in this round. That’s a 37 points difference! Not only that, if you quickly discard the extra card (K in this example) which doesn’t belong to you in the first place, you will be punished by a second count. Depends on the cards you have, the opponent’s card might lay-off and more points will be deducted further from you. You would end up losing a game. This happens too frequently as I play faster and faster, and it is getting too frustrating!!

Great when working
This is one of the better realistic Gin Rummy game’s available. Except when it freezes up for no apparent reason. This happens frequently and becomes annoying after awhile.
Card down under
This game cheats... the cards jump, the it will go down past the broad where you can’t see the card making you have to get rid of a card you don’t want to get rid of, then that missing card shows up. So they make sure you lose. I like it but it piss you off when it does that. They need to fix the problems on this game cause I’m gonna delete it. Play fair or delete this game.
What have you done
This used to be fun. No adverts and easy to play. What’s with the double tapping to get rid of cards, I don’t like that. And now I’m getting ads which don’t go off the screen so you have to close the game and restart. I’m not going to play under these circumstances. Sort it out.

Knock bug
Please fix the computer player knock bug. I love the ui but the game has an advantage because of this.

Enjoy this game when working but locks up after playing for awhile and the only way to continue is to end game and forfeit that game and start a new game. Deleted and reloaded numerous times but still has same problem.
Update Ruined Game
I played this game for years, but it was just recently updated. Increase ads, now requires internet to play, and the game is ridiculously slow. There was always a suspicion that the game “cheats,” to balance itself, but now it seems even more suspicious. What was a beloved game for a long time has now got me looking for a new Gin Rummy app to replace this one. A shame, too.

I find that the computer on many occasions has held cards that I needed even though I have not taken those cards from the pile. Has happened many times.

I would say this is the most understandable game, a good introduction to Gin Rummy and with plenty of scope for challenging play.

I literally deleted this app within seconds of playing. It doesn’t let you situate your own cards, try to move a card to a different lay, and it discarded it!

It seems to me the computer hand can see my hand. Always discards something I do not need or something I just discarded. Also I can do fairly well until the last couple of hands. Then the computer comes up with gins etc to win. I am deleting this game and trying another gin game
