Great card game!!
Partner does not recognize NIL BIDS
I used to like to play this game. It was crazy how my “partner” would bid huge numbers-and never get them. I changed the settings to more conservative playing and that helped for awhile. The “partner” has NEVER protected NIL bids— except for the opposing team-consistently playing his highest cards and effectively giving the other team the NIL every time. Now- every hand the opposing team either has a huge hand or bids NIL. In these last few days I have not been able to win one game. It is frustrating to say the least. So, if you want to lose every game-play this Spades app. You will be happy every time! I gave it two stars because before it actually gave you a chance to win—now it is just NIL after NIL-huge opposing team bids leaving you no chance. Good luck! Switching to new app.
Best Spades Game no ads
As long as you account your partner over bids this game is the best so far. No ads during game is excellent. If you like Spades then try this game.
Please bring the old game back
I’ll do not like this new update at all. I like how everything set on top and all you have to do is click it now you gotta click a bunch of ties. Please bring the old style back. Thank you.

Need to work on the program to protect partner going nil. Last game partner played a 3 of diamonds!

Inconsistent in counting books. Sometime the South Player (me) books do not register.
Partner does not cover
I have found many times when I bid nil my partner does not cover me. The latest one was when I had a K and 6 of spades and my partner had the A and Q of spades. They needed one more trick to make their bid. The opponents played a 5 and J of spades. I had to play my 6. My partner took the trick with their A. Why? They should have used the Q and saved the A to cover me.
It is good because it is dumb
Your partner is a fool don’t trust him. The game is good because you get 100 pts for a nil and 200 for a blind. You can blind it on the first deal and more than 50% of the time the game will try to cheat you and you get 200pts. Your idiotic parter won’t make his books more than half the time, but you are so far ahead that as long as you don’t trust your partner you will win. If you start trusting you will be busting and that is a bad place to be when the computer is dealing itself pad hands.
Stupid game
Your partner does not understand the game and will constantly over bid. Your partner will go nil with four Trump cards and off course never learns.
Terrible game
This game is terrible. As the one playing against the computer it’s three against one. Your partner always overbids and you get dealt terrible hands. No way this is random card dealing. The game is boring and dull when you are dealt two spades a hand on average. Why did you ruin this game? The discrepancy in dealing cards is unreal. North/South team is at a big disadvantage now. You took the fun out of the game. First thought it was just luck but after numerous games it is obvious something was changed.
Ok but not too bright
The Game makes mistakes that are quite stupid: tops partner’s K with the Ace when it has another card in suit, does not trump it’s partner’s lead when there are many higher in suit cards yet to be played, really dumb about nil bids in many respects. The game has no contextual sense at all. Worst aspect is “optimistic bidding”. North, the AI, fails its bid 35% of the time: totally unacceptable. Every once in a while the scoring goes nuts: charges for 40 failed nil bids in one hand!!! Often more worried about the bag count that setting the opponents. Still, fun most of the time.

No Ads and Fast Game Play
The trick to figuring out a good spades game is by using your mind. Why are there 4 different game developers all advertising their App as #1? Because Apple doesn’t care to verify the ratings because they make Ad revenue by allowing anything on their platform. Meanwhile, the game developers make money by marketing a falsehood. This Spades game sits near the bottom in popularity. Let’s keep this App a secret and leave the dumb AI algorithms for the gullible and naive.
Partner(North) doesn’t know how to play nil games
1. N bids nil holding 10, 9, 8, 7 of Spades. Another game, after I had bid 3, my so-called partner bid nil with K, 3 of hearts and K, J, 10, 9 of Clubs! How is anyone supposed to cover that? And in that game we had been more than 100 points ahead..but we lost the game. If the bot had just bid 1, we would’ve won! The opponents NEVER bid that stupidly! 2. West bids nil. I‘ve led the A, K of a 5 card suit and am still holding the Q and 2 small cards. N has discarded on my K. I then play my lowest heart. West plays the Jack! Yeah, I think, their nil is broken! Wrong—North , my alleged partner, trumps the trick! 3. Partner often overbids…2, 3, 4 games in a row! Whoever programmed this AI doesn’t know how to play Spades! Incidents like this happen often!
Looses its strategy to win!
One of the better spades games out there but still doesn’t cut it! Partner seems to not know how to adjust to bidding nil...will often lead with a low card instead of a high one. Partner often bids 3 and doesnt make any! Partner will cut over me when it is unnecessary! Partner doesn’t know when to shift from offense to defense. This gets old after a while.

They might have changed something, but I’m having the opposite experience of most who play with partners. Unless I have the Ace of spades, I can just bid Nil every time and we always win the game. East/west doesn’t seem to even try.

Love this game with very limited ads. There is an ad banner across the top but doesn’t interfere with play. My only complaint is the computer does not always seem to recognize when their partner has bid nil so doesn’t play a higher card for protection.

Choose four or three players in options. You do not need to play partners. Enjoy! One of the best Spades games out there.
“Partner” is your 3rd opponent
Partner calls 4 and only gets 2 consistently. If you go 0, partner will lead low suits or go lower than you screwing your points and then play a higher card next hand. Also does nothing to other team when they go 0. Other than playing against 3 it’s not bad!!!lol

Don't be fooled by all those 5 star reviews.
It's not terrible, but it's not really Spades either. Playing four as singles, the developers have skewed the deals so you have voids and singletons much more frequently than in normal play. During YOUR nil bids, the others will always lead their lowest cards, but during any one of THEIRS, they pay no attention at all and routinely lead their highest., not caring how many bags they take. You can do better.
HELP!!
What is going on all of a sudden? I used to enjoy this game thoroughly, but WHAT IS WITH THE QUESTION MARKS?? I have selected and reinstalled the app, but it didn't fix this.
Fun game BUT!
Fun game but some times i feel like they designed the game for my computer partner to make certain plays to keep our opponents in the race to win.

Love this game! Except now with the last IOS upgrade it freezes on the last card of the hand. won't allow more plays, totally unresponsive. Hope it's fixed soon!

Schönes Spiel aber die KI ist zum davon laufen. Soviel schlechte Züge was mein KI-Partner zieht macht das ganze Spiel kaputt. Schön wäre es wenn man die Stärke der KI wählen könnte.

Great game, even luck, fewest ads
This is the best spades game and I’ve tried a lot of them. Not long hot and cold streaks so it’s more about skill. Agree with other reviewer about going nil - other players don’t help set them, which is frustrating - but overall this is the best IMO
Terrible programming
Great layout, everything is perfect except for the programming. Computer does plays that you would never do in real life. protecting the zero play is nonexistent. This thing would rather take bags than protect the partners zero bid

Annoying background music
In the last few months some annoying background music plays & can’t be silenced in the settings. This is a great time killing game but I can’t listen to other things while I play because of the music that WONT stop!!!

Love this game. I just wish that they had Automatic Play when you only have one card left for a suit. It only works for the last play of the game. Plus they need to add the bid 10 get 200 once you make your bid!! These are the only two things missing. Overall this game is a lot of fun!!!
Doesn’t cover you
Your partner will not play a trump card when possible to cover you when going for 0 tricks. Also the computer will pass up taking tricks with a spade when possible in order to have more spades at the end of the game
