Addictive

I enjoy playing pinochle, and I learned here are a lot of ways to set up the rules to make it more interesting and fun besides just choosing single or double deck versions. The ads are a little annoying, but you can get past them with one or two clicks. Based on my review, the developer pointed out that I could remove those adds by paying a one-time fee ($12.99). After considering how much I have enjoyed the game, I decided to pay the fee. Not so much because the ads bothered me that much, but because $12.99 seems a fair price for the product, and I think good developers should be reasonably rewarded for their work.

Mr

Screw you‼️ You have no idea of what the concept of paid is‼️ Having played this game since my early teens, I consider the way that you conduct your game is afarce . You should be banned from A from presenting this game. My stepfather played cards during World War II. When he came home he taught me how to play Pinochle I was about 12 I learned the game well I played for one and 1/2 years in Germany. I have two partners only. We never lost a gameI was I have never been Dealt such terrible hands Obviously, you have that of the art of cheating. I will find another source that plays a fair game Ratings could be made With ZERO stars you would be properly rate 👎👎👎👎👎

Partner not playing ace

Can you tell me why when I lead a pointer and my partner has an ace, he lets it go and invariably our opponent takes the trick? If a real life partner did that, he would only do it once after I read him the riot act. It happens very frequently! Ok, just happened again. This time, my king, and an opponents 10 laying, and my parter throws a queen while having an ace in his hand. This is ridiculous!

Realistic Game Play

Thank you for developing a pinochle game that is reminiscent of playing at home with the family. After playing this for several weeks I do have an issue with the game. I set the rules and scoring based on my history with the game. Every few days the system resets itself and I have to go in and redo the rules again it is irritating.

Need a new partner

I enjoy the game - especially that I can configure so many options to make it very close to the way my family and I play. But, I need a slightly smarter partner, especially when it comes to being aware of the game score. Today, we were 5 points from winning, our opponents were way behind us, and all we would have had to do was pass to go out. Instead, my partner bid a high big, which we failed to make, and we ultimately lost the game. Similarly, my partner doesn’t realize when our opponents are close to winning and we are way behind, our only hope of winning the game is to let them get the bid and put them up.

— Huhqga

★★☆☆☆ United States · v4.70 · 2 Sept 2025

I want a new partner!

If this is AI it’s not very intelligent. Partners don’t always recognize what is trump when playing cards; bidding is often very frustrating even when changing the settings. I don’t think my “partner” considers they are playing with a partner. Ok for practice, but not for any form of serious play.

— Pdxdavidb

★★★☆☆ United States · v5.02 · 20 Dec 2025

Almost OK

Bidding is weak. The computer partner always bids when the only way to win is to have the dealing side not make the bid they are stuck with. The computer will bid with weak trump, 4 low cards, because of some minor meld. Computer leads trump when they don’t have the bid, without rational. Computer leads 10s which are always beaten by opponents ace.

Good Times

It seems as if the Good Times are here again when I play pinochle; a game that I truly enjoy when the cards are dealt. Your particular game is challenging. Almost as good as playing with live players. Though I will say it is slanted more to the computer-generated opponents. Fun for sure. Thank you

Yikes

My partner you have picked to play with me has no idea how to play pinochle. Very disappointed. I was playing at the level six and decided to go lower level, same kind I’d deal. What I find, do not know how to pass, don’t know what a winning hand looks like to take tricks if you get on the board. Give them cards to take tricks and they won’t play those cards, they lose them. Just awful.

AI doesn’t play right

My AI partner always outbids me only to flush out all of my trump and then we lose the bid! What’s up with the eternal drive to get out the A of trump, even leading with k and 10s? The AI does this until the last A of trump has played….and often leaves us going set due to having no more trump! Why does my partner always outbid me ? If I have an awesome run I have to keep outbidding my AI partner until we cannot save! Ugh ! I liked your ap at first cus I lik3 the game but i5 definitely needs to learn the gam3 better! Thanks, Joy

Poorly Configured AI

The AI overbids aggressively and then doesn’t have the meld to support it. My AI partner constant constantly plays points on their tricks when it still has non-point cards in the hand. Three out of every five hands, the opponents are stacked with 30 and 40+ meld.

Pinochle

It would be nice if the partner would at least pass the pinochle cards to the bidder when spades or diamonds is named trump. It’s very irritating to have three legs of the pinochle and then not get the other piece from your partner. I was passed the ace of spades(trump) the ace of hearts and two aces of clubs and the partner kept the jack of diamonds I needed for double pinochle. No need to send extra ace of clubs-very disappointed. Again was passed one jack of diamonds instead of both and missed out on a double pinochle. I don’t understand why double pinochle isn’t first priority for my partner. So very aggravated.

★★★☆☆ United States · v4.50 · 1 Jun 2025

Partner needs to declare meld always

The big issue I have is that if my partner wants the bid, he never gives a meld bid. I have had ten card runs that would pull 30+ tricks. Then he calls trump with 60 meld in my short suit and we get set. Just this one change would greatly improve this app. All in all this is a good app.

Mixed Feelings

I love that I can customize the Pinochle game to the rules I use. In fact I love everything about the set up and options of this app, except for the way it plays. The code or AI in this game continually deals the best cards, full ropes or partial ropes that it’s partner can fill in, aces, and the cards the other, team needs to to itself. On a regular basis. I have skipped hands over and over with all hands revealed to watch it do this. It also sets itself up to short suit easily. While the live player and partner get junk and the AI makes my partner pass more readily than a live person would do. I can’t improve my playing because my hands are so bad I have to pass all the time. It’s rare that I actually have any fun with this because it’s definitely not a fair random shuffle. Would love to see this fixed.

★★☆☆☆ United States · v2.82 · 13 Jun 2023

Meld

The AI partner plays like a dolt, often calls trump and we end up skunked; makes very unintuitive decisions compared to how a real life game goes. AI opponents get hooked up w major meld often and it’s like playing 2 opponents that can see each other’s hand - they play off each other flawlessly. Not a very good simulation of the game is experienced in real life

— Augger7

★★★☆☆ United States · v2.50 · 1 Oct 2022

Opponent bids ridiculous

Very few double pinochle games stop bidding below 85, even if the opponent can’t put together 35 meld with card passing. This is not “aggressive bidding.” This is pinochle with that player that makes the game unenjoyable. Give my partner a 50 meld bid, and it passes below 60 despite it having a run. Having bid strategy settings doesn’t do anything if the AI isn’t following them.

I’ve played over 200 games. I’ve hit double pinochle 3 times. The computer has hit it at least 12 times. what’s really weird is the partner who didn’t win the bid will hit double pinochle when they bid really, really high. Expect to be cheated on, but it will let you win occasionally. Still fun to play.
