Irregular
I love this game It should be; however, no jokers in the game, or, just one. I’ve noticed that more and more lately. No jokers cost me a nil bid! Also, I agree my bot partner ignores bag penalties and unnecessarily spades my winning tricks. The game is rigged, but we expect that from AI don’t we?
Stupid AI
Your “partner” is very stupid and throws out cards at random. One glaring example is that your “partner” will bid 6 and use a King when you use an Ace. Ultimately, your “partner” throws away their best cards and they fall short of their bid. Avoid this game!
Best - but . . .
Best of all the spade games but the ai needs to be more in tune with me. It likes to hold onto high cards when instead, it should be sloughing off and not taking tricks.
Partner is clueless
I bid nil and he starts the hand tossing low cards.
Probably the best but…
What I like is that this is a no nonsense with goals, inside purchases and no ads app. In that respect, it’s one of the best Spades games I’ve tried. What I don’t like is that my AI partner consistently underbids and I’m constantly trying to either compensate for that by over bidding (and occasionally getting set) or just trying to lose tricks. Better programming needed.
Nice
The game used to have absolutely no ads. It has changed and now has short ads. Needless to say that I preferred the previous version. However, it is still one of my favorite games. It’s not predictable and takes some skill.
Bot teammates suck
Bot teammates have no concept how to bid or play strategically. They need AI help to understand how to play alongside you the human.
Partner IQ
I wish that there was some way, maybe with the help of AI, that my partner could be programmed to recognize when the other team is bid Nil. Usually the partner just takes as many tricks as possible and ends up adding to our bag number. Very annoying!
One more spades app to delete within 15 minutes
Liked the game play. Was loving not having ads pop up every hand. Or scrolling along the bottom. But then an ad popped up and I can’t even close out of it. Why in the world do the creators/devs of these apps do this? It’s one thing to have ads, but to make it impossible to close them is beyond aggravating in the middle of a game. One more spades app down the drain. Can SOMEONE please make a good spades app??? This is the 5th or 6th game I’ve tried…don’t know who is writing reviews but they must be lying or something. I don’t get it.
Missing tricks
Sometimes I notice that you or any Of the bots don’t get credit for winning a trick. The cards slide down to you and your total Doesn’t add up. It’s seems a random Event

Easy On Battery Life
Battery life? Excellent. Can you reshuffle? Yes (get a better hand). Am I playing humans? No but it’s pretty close! Can you replay the hand? Yes!!!

I like the game but I hate the vulgar, bikini clad/nude women/men ads. Kids play this game and you allow these ads! I’m removing all Coppercod games from my devices.
Not a trick taking game
Devs, this game has become a joke, if you in fact play to take tricks. The real game here, is avoiding bags. When the AI opponents and the game total a bid to only nine tricks, that leaves four bags. Often a hand will total only eight tricks bid, I’ve even seen a seven bid. After multiple hands, taking a bag penalty is now commonplace. This is ridiculous. I don’t want to play a game that is about avoiding bags. It should be about taking tricks. An 11 or 12 trick bid is very rare now, a 13, almost never. This removes the element of setting the opposing team. The game is all wrong. Fix it!!
Almost perfect, but not yet.
Clean running, quick play, clear to decipher. But…. has the usual Spades “penalty” you will incur when you are over 400 points, or if beating the opponent by a large margin, the sandbag penalty engages even if you are only 1trick over your bid. This evens the score so your opponent can hopefully play longer, but it’s annoying. Also, my teammate can be incredibly stupid and illogical, overtrumping my trick I have already won, with like (ex) 4 or even 5 cards to play, and he is not trump tight. 😶

Best Free Spades I’ve Tried
I’ve tried about a half dozen Spades games as of summer 2024 and I definitely like this one best. The options I want most like choosing card backs & fronts, table/background and winning score variations (250, 500, 750, 1000) - all for free with no in app purchases needed. Best of all is that you can choose to have banner ads at the bottom of the screen instead of having to sit through long, disruptive ads in order to continue playing AND best of all you can replay any hand either from before you bid or just the last play. All-in-all the most user friendly and generous with the options of the Spades games I’ve tried that I’m keeping this one and deleting the others!
Finally
I have tried a bunch of apps. I like this one the best. It’s free. The ads scroll at the bottom so they don’t interfere with your game. The partner bots actually try and cover your nil. There are no live players but it’s still just good practice. Great app.

This game will give itself a blind double nil every time at the end if it is losing to try to beat you in the end🤬
A couple of tweaks needed
I really love this version of the game. That being said, my bot partner truly doesn’t understand the game most of the time. They consistently under bid resulting in continual penalty points, and don’t understand when to play their high card or when to hold it. It is frustrating to say the least. I’d change partners if that were possible. Often, the game is waiting for me to submit my bid but there are no cards up for me to base my bid on, again, very frustrating.

Worst game ever. Why would my AI partner take my king of clubs with the Ace, and have other clubs? The AI partner also under bids the hand. Not a good game.

My bot partner is dealt a 1 or 2 bid hand 75% of the time. Game plays well but this is frustrating

This is the best spades game that I have ever played hands down.It doesn’t have any glitches unlike some of the other ones.I also love that it gives you fair play.I definitely recommend this game
