Almost great!
There’s not a repeating duration option where you can select multiple days on the same access, using the same code. For example, a dog walker arriving 4x/week at the same time each day during week 1, then being able to reset for 2x/week the following week. The current repeating duration only allows for setting a duration on one specific day, repeating on that day every week (ie every Wednesday from 2-2:25pm). It does not allow the owner to set up the same code if setting access for the user for multiple days of use during a specified time frame. I suppose this is for security purposes, but can be frustrating to have to set up several access PIN codes and days when it should be as easy as clicking multiple days with the same time, on the same access pin.
Range
Only works close to the house. It’ll be better if it can be used from far away to be able to open it to family members.

Lock is great app is terrible
The app RARELY opens the lock. You need to be connected to the internet to use the app to unlock the lock, even though they talk to each other only via Bluetooth. We just never use the app anymore, it’s better to manually do it

Cannot set codes remotely using WiFi
I bought the bridge hoping that would give me remote access to the lock 24/7. It doesn’t. Also I hate that the algo pin that I have to manually program is a NINE digit code and I cannot change it to four. Why??????
Some functions are working as they’re supposed to
The remote unlock function which is supposed to unlock the door when I’m within a pre-set distance was working initially when I turned it on but then after a few weeks, it stopped working and as remained as such for many months since.

WHY
Why are the lock and unlock buttons switched? the interface is terrible. It is currently, press green unlock button to LOCK the door and press black lock button to UNLOCK the door. “ Temp access does. it seem to work as well.
Okay, could be great
So far the Smart Padlock 2 lock itself works well. There are 2 things I’ve found disappointing about the app. 1. I was really hoping for a time bound access setting. I want to program the lock so my kids can unlock between certain hours every day. There’s no setting like that, I had to create a separate access for them each day. Because you can’t reuse a PIN, I had to come up with a way they’d remember which code to use each day. Plus if we change the hours, we have to change for each day 2. Which brings me to my second annoyance. There doesn’t seem to be a way to edit an access entry. You have to delete and recreate. This is so close to perfect, hoping an update will address the above!
Customer service
I had an issue changing my PIN code and making changes on my app. The representative (Dave) walked me through every step slowly and took time to tell me how to access things. It took about 30 minutes but he was patient and I got my app and lock back working!!! I’m so thankful!!

Watch app is a nice feature
I have used the watch app and it is very useful! You don’t need to take out your phone and that is convenient. I have yet to use the watch app to unlock my door without my phone connected. If that works, it will be the best feature there is.
Good locks, app needs improvements
The locks are great. I switched from Kwikset smart locks and the new Igloo locks are way better. The app however just needs some simple updates. 1) Give a lock/unlock status without having to look at logs. 2) Give option to edit an access code. I can create and delete but not edit. 3) The bridge connection with Alexa and other home automation systems is worthless. Unreliable and mostly doesn't work even when bridge says it's connected.
Maddening to have to enter login credentials frequently
Works ok, but it is downright frustrating to have to reenter both your email and password so frequently, instead of saving it like all other apps

Not worth it
I bought these locks for my rentals thinking they would be so convenient since my rentals are in a different state. I thought, oh how convenient I can keep track of who opens the lockboxes, etc… they have been nothing but a headache. Every time I try to login to the app I get an error message. Now apparently they’re trying to make me pay for a subscription to use their system Battery life is good so far though. 🤷🏻♀️

Great when it works….
Seems it be more and more “unexpected network error” where it the app will not let you log in or use the app. Incredibly frustrating when you are trying to allow remote access to facilities and you simply can not get the app to function. When the network is functioning it’s a great tool. This needs to be fixed.

Love all the functionality generally! Some feature requests: I’d also like the option to manually set bluetooth key expiry time as others have noted. Also proper integration with HomeKit rather than Siri Shortcuts would be much better. Would be great to be able to unlock remotely without using Bluetooth keys, ie if I’m miles away and out of Bluetooth range but if the lock is within range of my home hub. Thread/matter support? Lastly, small one, on the app after pressing the unlock button it would be useful if the icon changed to an unlocked state so it’s clear the unlock has worked if the lock is in another room.

Has potential but severely lacking
The concept of the app and its interaction with the IglooHome devices is cool. For the features that already exist, they work ok. There are a few issues that cost it the 2-star rating: 1- if you set a code and/or access schedule, you are unable to modify it. For that, you have to delete the whole access and recreate it (make sure you remember what that code was because you’ll need to recreate it). This is especially important if you have remote maintenance groups (pool, gardener etc… ) with whom you have previously shared a code. 2- if you set a code for a user, say for a repeated schedule on Mondays between 2:00pm and 4:00pm (for example Pool maintenance), you are unable to set a second access with a different schedule (for example a one time pass) for a different day — i.e the same pool company is sending a repair crew on an off schedule than the regular maintenance. So now your options are to either temporarily delete the main schedule to create the one time access (and then remember to reinstate the default schedule), or, create a new code and have to communicate that to your pool company (confusing to them). Note that the same code CAN be used if setting it on another pad lock, just not on the same one. Finally; if you have multiples of those locks, whether you’re using the bridge or not, you have no way to bulk set a passcode on multiples (or all) of the locks. So you’d need to go to each of them and configure all the different access configurations. I’ve only had the locks for a couple days now, so I still don’t have an opinion about their quality aside from my first impressions, which are good so far; but their value is diminished because it feels like the app was an after thought, lacking very basic features. The good news is that if their dev team is willing, these modifications are very easy to make which will improve the experience of the app ten-fold.
Used to be good
After a recent update you can no longer share the generated code by text or email. I mean seriously?! That’s the whole point of a lockbox, to share it with people that are renting your space. Now you have to remember the code and type it out in a text and hope there’s no typo. Also, it logs you out way too much!

App won’t load, just spins
As the title says. I needed to add some codes so I opened up the app and the little loading circle just spun and did nothing. I saw there was an update and installed it… but it still just spins. So I had to give out my personal code which has admin rights.
Surprisingly frustrating
What the manual describes and the instructions it gives very often have little to do with what one finds in the app.
Need to fix the login
With Face ID enabled, after successful ID the app will still go to the key in your details login screen. So Face ID actually does nothing.
Great customer service
I had an issue with the firmware update on my padlock, but the igloohome support team was fantastic! They quickly released an app update that fixed everything within two days. Great product and even better customer service - very impressed!
Battery dead. Some special key that doesn’t work
I bought the lock. Battery died. They sent the special hex key to unlock the battery. Never worked. 🚮
So glitchy
The app doesn’t synch with real-world time very well, even after attempting to sync through the app multiple times. This makes it impossible to set a code that will only be active for a specific time period. Needs work!
Keep getting sign out
the uiux is decent, however the app keep signing me out and ask me to sign in which is quite a hassle. it is kinda buggy in that aspect. can consider to intergrate with face id log in to ease the sign in and provide some convinence.
Cool device and easy app
I’m not sure why this has 2.5 stars. The app is easy to use and the product is very sleep and versatile. I love that you can do everything you need within the app. I had no experience of using a product like this and set it up in minutes. I will be buying for all my future properties.
Try searching your locks…
to search your locks you have to pull down and wait for the search box to pop up. Your guess is as good as mine on when it decides to give you the search box.

This app constantly logs you out and doesn’t save your password. The password reset process is a drawn-out pain. This is the kind of app where when I need it, I NEED IT now, not in 15 minutes. It’s so frustrating.
App does not open after update on April 26
App will try to launch and get stuck on Igloohome screen. Have closed and relaunched several times and have updated app.

Requirement to use codes within 24h ruins an otherwise great product! Please remove this requirement or make it optional when creating keys.
