Great lock system, please add watch support!
The Bluetooth locks work great. It’s nice being able to control access remotely and with a phone. It would be handy if there was a watch app so I could still open the lock if I didn’t have my phone with me.

Boîte à clé pas fiable mais app ok
Le système de contrôle de la boîte à clé via l’app est ok même si elle est perfectible mais le problème vient de la boîte à clé en elle même. C’est déjà la 2 eme que j’achète pour notre résidence et les 2 sont tombées en hors service au bout d’un certain temps. Le boîtier passe au vert mais ne s’ouvre plus. Clairement un problème dans le moteur qui contrôle l’ouverture. Et le pire c’est qu’il n’y a aucun service client à joindre pour faire marcher la garantie des 2 ans… À voir ailleurs s’il existe quelque chose de semblable mais plus fiable.
Where are the instructions?
Just received my walk and very easy to set up on my phone. The one thing I don’t understand is there is no instructions on how to share this lock with other people in my office. Says that I have to download the app to get the instructions. I downloaded the app there’s no instructions anywhere then I find a link that says download the instructions. I print them off but it doesn’t say anything on how to get people codes so they can use the lock. Very frustrating

Needs Extension for Apple Watch
Works well with my iPhone. Just wish it had an app for the Apple Watch. I don’t wear my iPhone when I work out but I do wear my Apple Watch. Touching my Apple Watch to unlock my locker would be great.
iPhone 15 issues
I’ve never had any problems with the app and generating temporary codes for our Airbnb. However I’ve just upgraded my phone to an iPhone 15 and now the app doesn’t generate codes. What’s going on?
Good app but….
1. Time for open box is only 1 per day 1. One time period can be set for whole days I would assume to get for this price of product more choices to control it I am looking around for different brands!! Please add minimal 3 time periods per day and week 📅 for set this 🔐 management !!! Thank you BTW on iPhone when shooting the video the app haven’t access to Bluetooth for open box 🔐.
Good But Needs a Little More..
06/07/2024 update: I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email indicating that I would have the opportunity to be on a 30-minute Zoom call with a couple of folks from Master Lock’s product design/development team. We had a great conversation and it was very encouraging to know that Master Lock is listening to their customers with regard to how the product is currently being used, what works well, what doesn’t work so well, and any suggested improvements to the products. I’m hopeful that this great product can rise to excellent. Thanks to the product design folks for their time — it is much appreciated! 01/17/2024 update - - Any updates on a shorter than 8-hour window for temporary codes? - Updates on ability to assign unique temporary codes during the same time period (now restricted to one unique code per 8-hour window) - Reporting to reflect which unique code opened the lock (vs just the time that the current 8-hour code was used?). Thanks!

Voilà que j’ai changé de téléphone et je n’arrive plus à accéder au boîtier avec le nouveau téléphone. Impossible de supprimer le compte impossible d’ouvrir la boîte. En fait je ne peux rien faire.
Box opening issue
I have had a number of guests unable to open the lockbox door even though the code entered is correct and showing green. When the cleaner visits the next day it opens perfectly. I do not believe it’s user error, as I had 3 consecutive guests have the same issue. Would there be a time it’s inhibited or something we are unaware of?
Extremely Easy Setup Instructions
I’m already in love with this lock and how easy it is to get it set up. I’m so tired of using the traditional key padlock to lock my garage. This also takes away one less key off my keychain! I haven’t put it on my garage yet, but the options on this device was very creative. Love the fact that you have a choice to use the primary touchpad code as a secondary option and also allowing others to be able to access it as well. I just hope it’s not hard to replace the batteries when it comes time to.
Detached handle lock
I have removed the door handle part of the lock box and now it is impossible to put it back. How can I make it work again? It is not letting me attach or detached the handle. Any recommendations, someone?

Would like more guest flexibility
This seems to work well on the whole but it’s frustrating to have limits on codes for guests. I can limit times that guests can access the lock if they download the app and use Bluetooth or if I send a temporary code but I would like to be able to give them a code which is only usable at certain times. This doesn’t seem possible. My cleaner doesn’t have a smart phone so she can’t use the app. I wish to give her a code to enter but I only want it available on a set day at a set time. Why isn’t this possible? I don’t want to have to send her a temporary code that’s different each week. It wasn’t absolutely clear this wasn’t possible before purchasing and opening it all up so I feel a little duped by the lack of flexibility on this ‘smart’ set up.
The rebranding and new UI have greatly improved the UI
I have had my bluetooth smart lock 4400D since the initial app release under the eLock branding and I still use the very same lock. The new app is so much smoother and I noticed the enterprise version has an app for the Apple Watch. Any chance home users can get an Apple Watch app? It would be an added convenience to have the same functionality for the Apple Watch in the home because if you live in a big house, your phone may not be able to connect within 6 feet of the lock if it’s charging in a different room which the watch would have enough battery throughout the day to make accessing locks a breeze.

Works great
Just tried the free version using Schlage key that the number was stamped on the key. After doing the adjustment it worked great. Matched identically. Wish there was more then a few lock brands to pick from on the app as I would be interested in buying the full app, but need additional brands of locks not included on the full version. Master Lock being one of them. I have a lock with no number on it and I would like to buy a duplicate lock, but no number stamped on the key I have. I would be using the app to decode the key to buy duplicate locks
Combination for Padlock No Longer Works
I have a 1500D padlock which I purchased about 5 years ago. I use the lock 2-3 times each week for the gym. Now, the combination padlock will not open using the instructed combination and had to be cut with bolt cutters to get to my gym locker. Do you have a guarantee for replacement? Thanks
No notification
The notifications for when the lock opens or closes don’t work and there is about 2 days delay for the open/close history to display in the app. It was working much better with the old app.

More control needed away from lock
I can send a temporary code to a specific person for a specific time while away from the lock, but I don’t get to know what that code is. That guest’s name shows up under guest but again, I have no idea what their code is. Useless if guest has a problem. So if a guest is having difficulty with the lock, I can’t figure out if it is user error or lock error. I can also send a temporary code that is good for only 8 hrs. I can’t adjust that time period at all and can’t label it. I like to send emails with the printed code as many guests don’t like to use strange apps (especially older people). These parameters make it hard to send those codes. At least make the temporary code active for 12 or 24 hrs (or give us the choice) and allow us to attach a name to it. It should also show up in the guest list

Works only every other time
Bought this for my Airbnb guests back I. January. It has only worked for one stay. Guests say the link for the invitation does not work, and on my side, everyone I use the app, it states that it is off line. Very disappointing, as I have to find another way to give the key to our guests.
Good App, make it compatible with iWatch

Cool but…
When I try to add the lock combo for a physical combination lock that you see generically in a school, I get a message saying that it’s invalid. I followed all of the instructions too, and tried multiple times to add a code, but nothing worked. I could take a picture of the code, but that would defeat the purpose of this app. What do I do? Please let me know.
If it starts acting weird, reinstall it
I fixed the below by reinstalling it. —— I had an android phone before this with the same app and I never had a problem unlocking my locks. With the iPhone app every time I try to unlock a lock it says my access hasExpired. My phone is on the Internet and has access to Bluetooth but it will not give me access to the lock.

No Verification Code
I’ve been waiting an hour for a verification code, and can’t connect until it lets me sign up for an account
Doesn't reliably open unless iphone is unlocked
Cool lock, great concept. But unless I remove my iPhone from my pocket and unlock it, the lock will not open; even though the master lock app is "open" on the phone. I've had this lock for several years and it's gone through an app update (actually a completely new app) and a firmware update, and still it will not reliably unlock. Considering my August smart lock reliably connects to my phone via Bluetooth and unlocks my front door, there is no reason Master Lock shouldn't be able to update their software to deliver the same experience. Especially considering what Master lock charges for this lock.

What’s the point of unlocking lock with your phone . You have to be next to lock to unlock box . Why not just unlock from the box . You only know the status of your lock box when your phone is next to box.

It’s holds the info on your locks, but it should ask for your PIN number or at least verify with Face ID.

Great App, some issues
The lock boxes and app are fantastic. Much better than a regular lockbox. The app and box were easy to set up and are very straightforward to use. I love almost all features. All except one...you can only set schedules for temporary codes for either a set 4 hour window or 8 hour window. I read the comments and some users prefer the 4 hour window but I need a temp code for a little longer than 8 hours. If I have a vendor who requires access from 8-5 over 3 days, I have to send him 6 temp codes? I don’t mind if I have to send 3 codes, but having them keep track of 6 codes and the time frames for each, that is too much for them, especially if they are not tech savvy and do not want to download the app. I love the guest feature because you can set the date, time, hours, etc., I just wish you had this much control over temp codes as well. It would make things a lot easier if everyone used the app, but unfortunately that’s too much to ask for lol 😄

Master lock vault home fail
What am I missing here? When I sign out of the application and then go to sign back in it wants to send me a code to my email. I enter in that code and then I am fully into the application and have unlimited access to all the combinations. So here’s my question. Is it true that if somebody just simply tap “Sign in” on my phone, and it sends my email, a code which somebody will have access to if they’ve somehow gotten into my phone, then they enter in the access code and that’s it? No Face ID or no additional code that I have to enter? It’s super low security as far as I’m concerned.
Wish there was an Apple Watch app
App and service works really good. Wish there was an Apple Watch app so I can leave my iPhone in the gym locker during a workout or in the house on the charger for the one I use for my shed.
Great Lock, a bit confused about sharing
The lock is great. It took no time at all to register it to my phone. The bluetooth function works on my phone. What i am not able to do is invite my family members to the app and the bluetooth functionality. The link does not do anything else but point them to the app store to download the app. It does send any specific token that would allow them to link their app to the same device It is really confusing.
