Won’t connect to Dyson Airwrap I.d.
Tried on several iPhones, spent an hour with support without luck. It simply won’t get past the “Slide the power button button up and release screen” no matter what I do.
Dyson app
The app is amazing, but I do personally think you should get a notification by the Dyson app telling you when your hoover is fully charged cause every time I check the app or the Hoover, I think it should be better if the Dyson app send me a notification telling me when the Dyson hoover is fully charged so I know I can take it off charge then it would be more safer for everything. I think that would be an amazing idea. much safer for the Hoover.
Finding dock issue
There seems to be a constant issue with the robot finding its dock. Even after resets and power cycles. Remapping only works temporarily. Very frustrating to have to constantly deal with.
Dyson Refuses to integrate with Apple Home
Even low end smart home devices from IKEA support Apple Home integration. There is no technical reason Dyson is gatekeeping room temp & humidity from being shared with Apple Home, let alone basic on / off toggling. It’s extremely inconvenient for folks wanting all in one solutions.

The first one I received in the mail would not charge at all. Returned it. The second one I received and charged and only holds a charge for 10 minutes. I repeatedly charged it and used it 10 minutes each time.

App icons
The icons on the newest app are not labelled and are not intuitive in my opinion. Nor can I find an illustration that I might refer to. 07/08/26 there are too many “OFF” labels on the fan controls.

Robot cleaner
I find the Dyson does a better job of cleaning but is does get lost a bit Even with this I am happy to have it as I the clean is more thorough than my other robot
Ugly, uninformative new version
This new version is cluttered and ugly and not nearly as accessible and informative as the previous elegant version. This is a definite downgrade from probably some people who won in office politics
Not Good
The app is good. The phone support is excellent. The robot vacuums are very poor. When they work they are ok but mine went back for repair 4 times in a year did not really work when came back then they upgraded with newer better model and that went back twice the last time they replaced the whole machine again. So service excellent, customer service fast polite but machine poor.

App freezes my phone
Nothing else freezes my phone, but this app. Please look into this.
No Siri Shortcuts Support
The latest release strips away integration with Shortcuts. That was pretty much the only way of making it work with Apple Home.
New update needs work
I really like where you are heading with the Dyson app controls (I have Purifier Hot & Cold Formaldehyde). It’s difficult to scroll through the controls, just ends up with everything being fat fingered and turned on/off. The controls for fan speed and temperature need to handle being swiped VERTICALLY to scroll through them just like the other buttons do. They are on the right side of the panel and naturally where I place my thumb to scroll. Also please add a control to cycle through the display on the unit. It’s only available on the physical remote, I’d hoped this after nearly two years would be added.

Good remote. Can you pretty please put an all button next to the air quality, temp, humidity? I like seeing all the lines together. Then you will get my five stars.
Siri Shortcuts Broken
As other users have noted, this update has broken Siri Shortcuts. My existing Dyson shortcuts stopped working and I have been unable to restore or replace them. Please fix ASAP
Robot app issues
Can’t talk to anyone useful for here it is. App for robot vac (spot and scrub) is using +8 hrs so I set 1630 clean to get an 0830 clean in schedule. Needs an app fix. Scheduler also doesn’t allow schedules per day or different clean settings per schedule. Also reports cleaning fluid ready to go but doesn’t use it.
Great products
Well these items are great; floor lamp, desk lamp and air filter. My only issue is that the lights turn off (and one upon detecting movement) automatically but that must be one of the features so in the end, 5 stars.

Why did the new update remove the ability to set Siri Shortcuts?!?

Any time I try login, I have done it before, but it's just not working. You're registered it and I expect more from Dyson for the Digital assistant and it doesn't connect to the register website
New iOS app design not very useful
I have a hot & cool air purifier that I’ve had for years. I liked the old iOS app design much better. The controls were marked & easy to understand. Information readily accessible. The new app is not very intuitive & seems bare bones compared to the old one. I can’t get the unit to oscillate with the app anymore. Have to use the remote. Few controls with the app & not marked. Mostly the new app is best for turning the unit on & off, providing some air quality data, & hopefully tells you when to change the filter. Overall dull interface & not very useful.

I’m quite surprised this app hasn’t had some kind of decent overhaul after all this time. It arguably deteriorated.

Unnecessarily secure and annoying to log into. Crazy world that I have to use my phone to turn on my fan. INCREDIBLY INCONVENIENT
HushJet no remote
We can't get our unit to connect. Rebooted wi-fi, iPhone, machine off. Shows up in bluetooth, so it's the app that is not working. This machine needs a physical remote.
Omits needed info
This app will tell you everything about the device except its model number. Which is critical for buying replacement filters. Worse yet, the link the User Guide tells you to open a pdf but does not tell you where to find the pdf. Do better, Dyson
Big and quiet app glitches
Why would you have a big and quiet fan without night mode at higher speeds and wind mode option in night mode. Just ridiculous design consideration. The app is so glitchy with night feature on the most expensive fan. Just ridiculous. Love the fan, the app requires feature review with this fan. Works great with other models.

Don’t spend the money
We decided to spend the extra to get a Dyson when we had to replace our robot vacuum. What a joke! The vacuum is afraid of hitting the baseboards, so you wind up with an edge of filth around every room. Recently, it has started telling us the “drop sensors are obscured” about 10 times every cleaning. It can never find the dock and hides in a corner to die. Our last vacuum we could at least send out a signal to see where it had gotten lost, but no such luck with this one. This is the second Dyson vacuum we have had problems with, and we won’t be purchasing this brand again.
Poor software
It won’t clean some zones adjacent to the zone where it charges without also cleaning the charging zone. Have contacted Dyson, once 3 weeks ago and again 1 week ago, both times I was promised feedback in 5 working days. So far, no contact! Also it’s stopped cleaning the edges and frequently wants sensors cleaned even after cleaning and they were clean anyway. It was excellent at the start but since the update now isn’t.
Doesn’t pick up everything
It tends to skip picking up particles. I expected much better results. My old model Roomba does a better job. The new Roombas are not as well made as the old models either.
Geolocation poor
Struggles with geolocation, 2 out of 10 times, needs to be directed or picked up and returned to dock

Broken Siri Voice Control
Something recently caused existing and new Siri voice shortcuts to break.

Il faudrait que l’appli autorise l’écran horizontal aussi. L’écran vertical uniquement est un peu inconfortable pour un emploi sur une table, alors que presque toutes les applis sont bi-position.

Good, but noisy!
The fan is good and the allergen info is useful. The app could be better. I have a Dreo electric heater has it has a far superior interface and app. The Dyson fan is extremely noisy, even on a low setting. For the money, it should be much better.
A real help
Easy to set up if you follow the instructions, cleans well on our solid floors. Copes with small step into kitchen. Very satisfying to set it going then get on with another job. Yes it’s expensive but I wouldn’t give it back !

Solid
The timer feels clunky, and I’d rather just enter a specific time. There’s no widget support, which would be helpful for checking status and using basic functions. It takes a bit to connect, but once it’s loaded, it works reliably. I almost never need to use the physical remote.
Why am I using this app?
The app itself is probably the best manufacturer-developed IoT control app I have used. I’ve never encountered a bug with the app, I don’t have to dig deeply to change a machine’s settings, there’s no popups or distracting elements, it’s reliable, and the hardware interaction is responsive. The new interface is also ostensibly an absolute improvement over the old one, so good job guys. The UI is great. The UX is not great. It’s deeply unfortunate how proprietary and underbaked the ecosystem is. No public API, no homekit integration, etc. There’s not even proprietary-friendly Shortcuts intents to at least support some non-naive automation. This was excusable maybe ten years ago when the app was released, but it’s definitely not in the age of Matter integrations being ubiquitous with modern-feeling ecosystems. Dyson should be the last company shipping software that invokes the same “Is this software being supported? Do they care?” anxiety that comes bundled a $15 network-connected camera. Sure, the app is good, but having to pull it up as much as I do is a weirdly regressive experience. It feels like being in 2026 and having a vehicle that requires a crank start. The starting handle might be pleasant to use, but that doesn’t fix the fact that you’re starting your car outside in the cold.
Losing its way
Every now, and then the Dyson just seems to lose its way. It eventually finds its way home and docks but it’s real painful to watch.
