The app I actually open every day.
I downloaded this because I bought the Purobot Max Pro 2, and I expected the app to be the boring part. It's turned into the reason the whole thing is worth it. The box handles the mess. The first time I emptied the waste bin, the bag was already sealed and the entire chore took about fifteen seconds. But the box is only doing half the work. The app is where I actually find out how my cats are doing. We recently took in a stray kitten. She came to us at 5 pounds, and instead of guessing whether she was gaining, I open the app and see the number. She's at 5.5 now, and watching that trend line move has been more reassuring than anything else I could have bought. Every visit is logged. Every weight is recorded. I have real data on an animal that can't tell me anything. The camera view is the other piece I use constantly. With a rescue kitten, loose stool is the first thing you watch for, and I can confirm every single visit looks normal instead of finding out days later. Being able to pull that up on my phone from anywhere is the feature I'd miss most. Setup was straightforward, notifications are timely and not spammy, and the daily summaries are actually useful rather than noise. I came for a litter box and stayed for the app. If you own the hardware, this is the half that makes it worth the price.
Software is not user friendly
Troubleshooting needs to be greatly improved especially around device binding and online status
Dark Mode
Very good app but why it doesn’t have a dark mode because at night it is so bright. I hope one day you add this feature
Individual subscription?
I have two ever sweet water fountain I like the concept of the camera but I think it’s not good for consumers that bought more than one device then pay a subscription for each device !! Why ? Then it has the CUBE for water filtration that you have to replace every 30 days! They advertise four different types but only one kind it’s available!! I was going to buy a third Everett device but know I May just return them instead!

Life is good
The feeder makes my life easier.
WARNING: PAID SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED FOR MOST FEATURES
If that fact that I paid $100 for this feeder and can’t even use the camera feature without a subscription isn’t ridiculous enough, they don’t advertise that very well (at least on Amazon.) I wouldn’t have bought it had I known. Not to mention, the camera is garbage anyways! I paid for a smart feeder and ended up with a dumb one. Purchase at your own risk!
Great product, app can be better
The Pura Max litter box itself is amazing, and so is the app. Biggest thing I would like with the app is a Feature Request option. The litter box frequently “sees” it being occupied by a pet even when it is not and I have to double tap the button on the litter box; it would nice to have that override in the app. The app also gives me the “tutorial” whenever I open it. Minor inconveniences, but still would be nice to have.
Litter dump
Just got the PETKIT try to do a couple of troubleshooting things myself called customer Service they told me to email customer Service instead my litter dumped all the litter into the basket so I changed the filter. Great it started to dump less litter in the basket, but then I went on vacation for three days and after the first day, it says that the litter bin was full. Really annoying with the customer Service and all.

Im a software engineer with almost 20 years experience. Never expected such a feature packed app when i bought our feeder. The quality of this app is top notch. You can tell it was designed by a pet owner with the thoughtfulness of what it provides. Hands down, best pet feeder experience on the AppStore.
Not worth it
Set up is not easy to follow. Customer support is not easy to access. Feel like a bowl of water would have been better

I really enjoy the products and PETKIT customer service has always been supportive— The app is a little clunky but it has improved over time. I’d like to see them figure out a different way to advertise. The way it’s set right now makes it difficult to navigate through the app

自動給餌器目当てで使い始めました。付属のカメラがすごくよくて、課金したいのですがAppStore経由の課金がなくクレカ登録必須なので、躊躇しています。多少高くてもいいのでAppStoreから課金させて欲しい。

Automatic Feeder
The feeder itself - fantastic. No notes. Love it. The app? HORRENDOUS. Needs a complete overhaul. Nothing works, everything times out or the entire app just freezes and requires a force quit. Insanely frustrating to use.

Not good at all
It will not connect to WiFi, dispensing incorrect amount of food and at the wrong time scheduled. Not what I expected at all.

システム改悪
トイレ自体は普通の自動トイレって感じで可もなく不可もなく。 ただ、今回のシステムアップデートで動作履歴の編集が当日分しかできなくなった。 体重測定が正確でないためペット選択を手直しで編集する必要があり、そういった記録のための自動トイレなのに。（そもそもなぜ体重測定が正確でない？不良品なのか？） これまで当日でなくても編集できていたので、早急に元に戻してほしい。

Great bowl
The only negative thing is that the app doesn’t automatically update the water added info. You have to manually add the cleaning date. It notifies you to change the water and clean the bowl, but once you check that you’ve read the note, it doesn’t ask to accept it has been changed and the date updated. It also expects you to change the filter every month, but it doesn’t really need to be changed until every 2 months. It’s just a cash grab.
Glitchy and temperamental
If the Petkit development team spent 1/50th of the attention they put into developing devices, into app development they might actually have a functioning app. Half the time it is giving me the tutorial for new users or says the pet is using the device. In the rare event they make updates, you can no longer find where or how to manage reminders or mark that you have cleaned the box or added litter. Sadly, Ii’s very frustrating and needs an entire overhaul.

Notifications daily for nothing
There is always a notification indicating a reason to open the app but there are not in fact any notifications when I click on the “notifications” section. It’s annoying. I have notifications set up for only when the fountain needs refilled. Yet it gives me a notification icon every single day and it irritates me to constantly check it, worried that the water has run out on my cats, even though I know it has not. Every single other notification setting I have turned off in the app, multiple times. Fix it.

Playback malfunction
Within the second week of having this, the playback feature quit working. It just loads but never plays. I emailed support but got no technical support. Only endless questions to answer. The camera was one of the main reasons I bought the thing.

It’s a nice design but my cat refuses to use it. It’s been four days and my cat still won’t use the litter box. He goes to the bathroom in random places in the house over using the litter box, I’m ready to throw it out and ask for a refund

Less mess and easy.
I love this machine. We have two male cats and it keeps the mess down considerably . There was a lot of mess around their old, traditional box. Very little with this one. Smell is minimal. Knowing that they’re “going” is a relief when we’re not home for a while. App is easy to navigate. We also have the water fountain and like having them both on the same app.
Terrible product
This product requires daily cleaning and only makes taking care of my cats much more arduous I am better off with daily scooping of a simple box and weekly cleaning of a metal box. If I could give it no stars I would.
