300 Series from Lowe’s
This refrigerator has thrown error codes 3 times within 10 days. The great Google says this model has known issues. It is going to go back from where it came if this is not resolved.

Not intuitive But required for my machine’s complete functions
Unfortunately, this app is required to utilize all of the functions for my Bosch dishwasher. The UI (user interface) is unintuitive. It takes a lot of practice. And the Support bot, like all current AI, requires patience. ☹️
Advanced power control
***UPDATE- the newest update fixed my issue. I am back to seeing all the controls. I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars.*** This used to work great but now for some reason, the four boxes that I could check on or check off have all disappeared and now it just says front, back and custom. I can’t click off any of them from being highlighted. This just started happening and it has worked in the past. I have a Bosch 800 series dishwasher.
So bad
Why do I need an app to control my dishwasher? Normally I would say “no reason at all” but since they removed the delay button, I’m using the app. My dishwasher has stopped working and Bosch has been out twice with no resolution. But at least I have an app that looks like some garbage my middle schooler made with AI over the weekend. It disconnects all the time and the QR scanner doesn’t work and is always out of focus. I have press like 5 buttons to start on a delay. Instead of an app, make a dishwasher that works. Add a delay button and when I press a button on the touch pad it shouldn’t take 2 seconds to respond This app is total garbage. They just want your data to make more money. They removed the delay button to push people to use the app. No other reason. Stay away. This brand jumped the shark. Get a kitchenaide I’m here because the app was kind enough to ask for a review right after the dishwasher disconnected for the 100th time
Excellent app with one suggestion
The app is really nice. It works well and is solid. One missing feature is ability to reduce the volume of the door close alert. It’s off brand to have such a loud alert. Bosch should=quiet!
Why so difficult to add a favorite?
Was able to add a favorite wash cycle to my app but can’t find a way to do it again both for my iPhone or my wife’s. Cumbersome.
PowerControl wash zone adjustment is broken
I liked the app when I got my Bosch 80” dishwasher in June. My favorite feature is the wash zone adjustment feature. Now the feature is broken as the adjustment zoom image disappeared. Very disappointed. I saw a few others have reported the same issue and the developers acknowledged but no fix yet.

Overkill
In order to delay start the dishwasher now the only option is to do this through the app. I think it’s great that you can set this specific time schedule in the app and all sorts of presets and favorites and what not but please bring the button back to the control panel on the dishwasher itself. It is super annoying if I’m loading up my dishwasher to then also look for my phone and order to stop the delay start function. Other than that it seems to work reliably.
Does not support basic functionality
The app works great in connecting to dishwasher but lacks the primary functionality of saving a delayed start as favourite. In California, electricity prices go down after 9 PM. So if i am done loading dishes before 9, i would like to click a button that delays start. (note that this is not same as starting didhwasher at 9 pm) since i dont always get done with dishwasher by then.
App got worse recently
TL;DR: App functionality for PowerControl of lower dishwasher rack is broken. Needs to be fixed. ————————————- I have an 800 series Bosch dishwasher. I paid more for the version that has advanced PowerControl options (can control each quadrant of the lower rack individually). However, this functionality can only be controlled through the app. When I first got the dishwasher in November 2025 I was able to see the PowerControl image of the lower rack of the dishwasher and select individual quadrants for light, medium or heavy cleaning. It worked. In the last 2-3 months (or ever since I upgraded to iOS 26), this functionality broke. I no longer see the image of the lower rack, so I no longer can custom control the PowerControl cleaning for the lower rack. I called Bosch support and they had me reset the dishwasher and remove it from my app and uninstall the app and reconnect everything. This resulted in the loss of the historical data of usage and of my having to reconfigure settings I had previously tweaked. This DID NOT fix the core issue. PowerControl is still missing. A Bosch tech was supposed to come, however I saw another Home Connect App review mentioning the same problem, and the App creator provided an email address to send issues. I got a response that night by confirming my suspicion that this is an app issue that started happening after some iOS updates. Developers, I hope you can fix this issue soon.

Won’t connect to WiFi
Since the recent app update my dishwasher disconnected from WiFi. After uninstalling, reinstalling, and resetting my dishwasher it still will not connect. Very disappointed in customer service not having a resolution.

App and dishwasher need
My dishes come out dirty at EVERY wash. I have tried rinsing them, I’ve tried not rinsing and just scraping food off, I’ve cleaned the filter and sprayers, I use the soap and rinse aid they recommend. The machine does not live up to Bosch standards. The app doesn’t work well either. My saved favorite with opening the lid to dry ALWAYS removes that option when I select that last setting. That is just some of the issues. It has more.

App is nice to work dishwasher from phone. Has a few glitches lately where it keeps changing the icon when I open it. No idea why. Also can’t edit the power control sprayer on the bottom now. Gives the option but doesn’t pop up

Clunky. Not intuitive. Cumbersome. Not well tested so it doesn’t always work. Who decided an app was better than direct control???
Needs a fix pronto!
The custom feature to set the intensity of specific wash zones disappeared after an update a few weeks ago. Even though it appears another update was done in the last five days this was not corrected and we are still unable to select a specific front or back zone. The feature is now useless, several people have reported it. Please put those four individual zones back so we can use that feature again.
Great Dishwasher
So we’ve had a 300 Series unit for about a week. It’s super quiet, even though it’s supposedly less quiet than the 400 and 500 models. It does a great job cleaning the dishes and I can program custom cycles using the app. I chose the 300 because it was several hundred dollars cheaper than the other models. My only criticism is the size of the cutlery basket. There is a special tray that can be used for cutlery, but I generally use that one for larger implements like whisks or ladles or small china or glass items, so the basket gets pretty full.
Useless app for a very expensive fridge!
Mysteriously lost connection with the fridge/freezer. Can’t/won’t reconnect! Wasted hours of my perfectly valuable time on earth with this useless POS (Piece of Software…). I have several dozen IOT devices including two other Thermador appliances with no issues on my network.
Works. That’s all.
It’s inelegant. But functional. Needs UX inspiration from Apple.
Hard to set up
Nearly impossible to connect to wifi. QR codes that don't work, instructions that don't match the appliance display. This is one of the worst set-ups I've encountered. If your marathon struggles finally succeed, the the app function is OK.
Handy but slow
The app is pretty handy. I enjoy getting notifications to my phone when the dishwasher is done. The app’s UI is a bit cluttery and unclear. The app is also huge, taking up about 500MB.

If you can get it to connect at all it will not keep the connection. My router can see the appliance but the appliance fails to connect. Very frustrating.

ignores mode changes without warning to stop current program
Specifically for Thermadore oven controller: Forced timers with no "just turn on" option (1-minute default is useless). Switching from Proof to Bake silently fails—no error message, no explanation. App doesn't tell you to stop the current mode first; it just ignores your input.

No button on unit
Want to delay start? Then you have to use the complex app. No button anymore for delay start, no way to configure any existing optional buttons to delay start. I always forget to open the app. I’m on my phone too much already. I hate this app and this dishwasher. Overcomplicated what was simple.
Adds limited value
The app covers the basics across my 3 devices Fridge, Oven, and Dishwasher. It’s missing two features I really need: 1. The current status of the fridge door. I get an alert when it’s open for (a non-configurable) “too long”, but no way to know current status to check that was rectified and someone closed the door. 2. The only thing I really want the Dishwasher app to do is turn on after midnight, during low rate electricity hours. I should be able to do this on the panel. It seems to be locked away in the app and is impossible to configure. I’ve tried to start it at 1am multiple times, and been successful once. Really. I’m pretty good with tech and just can’t get it working.
Love the convenience!
Using the home connect app with my Bosch fridge and dishwasher. It is so convenient! The fridge tracks when the water filter needs replacement and even provides reordering info. I can turn the ice maker on and off, adjust the temperature in all compartments. It also lets me know if one of the doors are ajar. It provides direct access to the user manuals so I don’t have to go dig them out of my files. The same goes for the dishwasher. It was so easy to set up and so useful. Much more useful than any other app provided with my other non-Bosch appliances. Absolutely recommend!!

LOVE my Bosch dishwasher!! First time that I ever was able to connect to my iPhone and it is amazing that I have such control and awareness. The notifications are particularly helpful so I know exactly when I am low on fluids or need to clean!! Tech help is excellent as well . Happy customer!!
Poorly supported barely working
Temperamental app, works “when it feels like” and most times it doesn’t. No connection, not connected, no communication with dishwasher. If this were funny, it’d be very but it’s just mediocre or worse. Not even worth a smirk.

Ok, I understand that it’s a source of revenue, but I don’t need the ads for supplies and their partnerships. I just want to use my appliances please.
