Anfangs war alles „ok“. Aber nun nach immer mehr Updates häufen sich die Probleme. Was nützen mir die smarten Steckdosen wenn sie inzwischen wöchentlich für manchmal mehrere Tage einfach nicht funktionieren??? Da bleibt einem nichts anderes übrig als auf andere Marken umzusteigen!

Installed on phone and can get one of 4 plugs to come on at specified time but can’t get off time as well. Spent several hours and not sorted yet.

I have only been using the app for a couple of weeks so still new to it. But have good feelings about it.
Puzzled
I have about twenty-five apps on my phone that I use more or less often. This is the only one that constantly loses connection. If I log in again, it tells me no WiFi connection while I am connected to WiFi. I try to double check the WiFi connection in case I need to change it, but I can’t find where this can be edited. I try to use the help menu “change WiFi connection“ and “change WiFi connection on device”. I get “0 results“. I don’t know how you get such great ratings. I cannot rely on this app at all. This is my very last try to fix it before deleting.

Ça serait bien un mode été qui ouvre toutes les vannes simultanément (pas manuellement une par une) pour ouvrir le circuit comme il est préconisé pour la pompe de la chaudière par exemple, pour éviter que les têtes se bloquent et que les electro vannes fassent des vas et viens de recherche de chauffage. Avec une alerte en cas de mise en chauffe et que le circuit est en mode été, afin de ne pas cuire :) Merci pour Meross MT :)

Improved usability? How about improved stability.
Garage door controller within 20 feet of router in attached garage in wood frame house. But Fing reports it as going off line several times a day, every day. Not for very long, but it sure feels long if I’m trying to get inside.

Die App schließt sich immer wieder von selbst, sodass das Widget dadurch keine aktuellen Daten anzeigt. Bitte die App so programmieren, dass die App auch im Hintergrund weiterläuft.

Latest software update issue?
I wasn’t following it precisely, but has anyone else had issues with their lightbulbs not connecting to the app after this latest software update about 3 weeks ago? It seems like every day for the past couple weeks the lightbulbs never appear connected except for rare occurrences when they finally do connect and I can control them (turn on/off). Infuriating user error experience

Frequently logs out
The app is fine for the most part, basic but has most essential features for the garage opener I use with it. The garage opener itself has been great for a number of years. Unfortunately, as I primarily use Apple’s Home app to control the opener, I don’t notice that the app has logged me out in the background, which it seems to do very frequently. This means I’ve missed important alerts about the garage door being left open, and potentially other alerts too. It would be great if this could be resolved for my own peace of mind!
Easy install. Works in both Apple Home and Alexa
The install was very easy to perform, and the garage door immediately responded to both commands from Siri as well as Alexa.
Ignores settings, diverts ratings
Prompts for in app review despite the iOS setting disabling it. If you give it a low score in the app, it does not actually submit the review but diverts you to their feedback form.
Lost feature on last update
Usually a very good app but the last update removed the ‘notification’ and monitor/switch off feature on my smart plug. I also lost ‘day’ information, I’m left with ‘week’ and some strange long numbers when trying to look at history. I hope these bugs are fixed soon

Firmware updates fail a lot
It took many attempts to update the firmware on my presence sensor. If the iPhone locks the screen, the ongoing update fails. I had to tap the screen every few seconds to keep the update continuing. Sloppy programming.
Real smartphone solution. Love it. Apple HomeKit compatible

Looking at this as a product only, it’s extremely well designed, with high-quality cables and plastic casing. The product works extremely well, and I have no negatives to say about the hardware. The app however, does require simplifying a little as it is overcomplicated.

Absolute garbage still three years later
I’ve had replacement after replacement of their bulbs due to hardware issues, and still this entire system is useless. Yet again both the Meross app and Homekit have forgotten my multiple bulbs exist. I have to remove them then add them and then about 4-6 months later they are forgotten again. A complete waste of my time.

Would appreciate support for iPadOS, especially for charts. App is locked to iPhone size. Also support for dark mode would be nice

It allows you to use these adequate pieces of equipment and of course you need to accept the possibility that it could send a useful reminder. Unfortunately, it only uses the Reminders channel to pump junk advertising at you. Well, I certainly won’t be buying any more of their gear!

Ora sevo tornare manualmente sull’app selezionare la voce “sono connesso a dispositivo wifi” e nella schermata successiva puntualmente si blocca….
Works Great!
Bought two devices to help setup 4 watering zones for my house. I like the programming to set the days and how long the water runs. It’s summer so I have not used the rain shut off feature, but that would be a bonus to help save water in spring and fall.
Absurd Quality Issues in App working with SmartPlugs
This app is as user friendly as a cornered rat. When I first got the Meross App and products I thought it was an unfortunate name for a brand being to close to Morose, but now having used their products and app I can see that it is an inspired choice with Morose meaning being gloomy, sullen, ill-tempered, and unwilling to speak or smile. It describes a moody and unhappy disposition, often characterized by a sad or surly expression. The Merose app does have TINY pictures but they all look the same and they do not even match my region (they have US 2 flat pin for example when in U.K. we use 3 pin British Standard 13amp plug. So after what feels like weeks of screenshots and zooming I determined the plug does not exist. They say update the app which I did. I noticed that other Alexa products are using something called MATTER QR Codes and numbers which make it far easier. I also noticed that Meross OEM’s products it manufacturers to other brands who tell you to use Meross app. I have been using household appliances for decades, for example I have 3 way adapter that I bought in 1982 and it still works well. These SmartPlugs fail with alarming regularity, they essentially become bricked. So then you have to buy another, update all the routines that used that plug, but then even though you DELETE the FAILED one and changed the Routine Alexa says it can’t find the plug named whatever. My biggest concern is I now have 8 failed SmartPlugs, there is no repair option and these naff products will end up in landfill. English law Consumer Rights Act (2015) says a product has to be of reasonable quality, be fit for purpose and last for a reasonable period of time (minimum 6 years or more if implied by supplier or manufacturer). The contract is with the seller so off to Amazon I go but they are not exactly easy to get replacements. The Meross app is over intrusive, asking information that has nothing to do with the use of the app. The app is full of marketing tabs, one called SHOP and another called FORUM which is just another shop, maybe rename it OFFERS. There is no diagnostic capability in the App which considering the failure rate seems a critical requirement. Some bricked electronics has a port with the ability to flash firmware, these Merross products and app do not support this. I plan to get some YouTube creators who open up and diagnose failed products to strip down my plugs, one does not live far away. I won’t be buying any more Meross products (not OEM versions) so when the last 3 fail I will be deleting the app.
