The app works great for creating and submitting timesheets on the go. The only drawback is the tracking category selection. Because we go through so many jobs, you have to scroll for ages to find the job you were at. If you guys could add a search bar to the tracking category, that makes it an easy 5 star. Thanks

great little time sheet app.
good accessibility for voice over user iphone 15 pro max. Need to sort out an issue setting up a new time sheet. voice over does not like the floating app. vo get's really confused. Apart from that great ap. Wish they can look into this little problem.
Not intuitive
I had a lot of problems trying to get Xero App running on the latest iPad. I’ve only been using multiple OSs for 42 years… Help files were useless and help line not much better. Been using it for six months and getting by is more good luck than good programming.
Why Is Annual Leave In Hours?
Easy enough to get payslips and submit expenses. However Annual Leave seems to be calculated in hours? Why? This has to be the most awkward way ever!

Was good then they changed it
Use to be able to have the options of different pay rates, overtime/double time. Then they updated their system and now only ordinary time is available. Very frustrating when finalising my own and staff pays. Have asked when they would fix it, 3months ago, and nothing has happened. Very disappointing
Simple to use but not optimised for my iPhone 17e
The design and functionality is all I need. Sadly I couldn’t figure out how to report this through the app or website but the app doesn’t appear optimised for my screen size - when I fill out the timesheet I can’t change fields without blocking the mandatory description field and submit. I have to scroll down to the description to fill it first otherwise my onscreen keyboard blocks it.

This app is good, easy to use but regularly I have trouble logging in. And today with issues again I checked to see if I had latest version and find it’s just updated. It seems that each time I’ve had trouble logging on it’s been when it’s updated. No issues before but plenty after the unnecessary update 😏

I’ve been using this app as an employee for 6 months. It’s a good app that is easy to use and doesn’t glitch. The only point to mention is that once an entry has been added on your phone it can’t be changed by the phone, you need to log on through a computer to edit the entry. Other than that no complaints.

Constantly needing to remove app as It will not allow breaks & hrs to be entered - I have changed setting for breaks etc but it will not budge Please help
Good app but fails to use screen space efficiently
In the old Xero expenses app you could see far more of your expenses on the screen at one time. But now, each expense takes up an unnecessarily large chunk of space!

When can we have normal expense logging?
We’ve been saying it for years… so many normal companies have staff with company cards and they just need to log receipts with no need for reimbursement (but without full access to all accounts) It “works”, sure, but would be so nice to be able to take the line out of our staff training guide “please ignore Xero’s random messages saying we’re going to pay you money that we’re actually not paying you”

Feels like spyware
For your privacy iOS lets you limit access to your gallery. I use this with other expensing apps so that I only share my receipts. This app FORCES you to give full access to your gallery, otherwise it disables uploading photos. Feels invasive and a breach of my privacy for no good reason. Please change this. Aside from that, the app is well designed and fluid. A pretty darn good experience overall.
Please Upgrade Timesheet
“Ordinary Hours” is the only option for submitting timesheets. There have been several updates since the problem and it hasn’t been fixed. Please improve asap to make life easier for employees and employers alike
No overtime
Can’t enter overtime on the app since the update- only allows ordinary hours now. Not helpful
Notes option
This is a functional app but could benefit from introducing a space to add notes to each work day. As a company who uses various work sites we would like the app to provide a space for adding notes/details this would make for better communications between payroll and staff
App not working
App is saying Xero Payroll is not set up for me. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Have rebooted my device. I need to log a leave request and can’t get access.

Just started using can’t make sense of timesheet page only gives one option normal time not option to add overtime together only when you go to team them you have to scroll between normal and over time

Useless
Entering hours is laborious, that’s if the server even responds. Many times it just sits there trying to submit your hours for the day and you need to force quite the app. Changing the billing type resets your hours for no apparent reason. Great submission for design gore, terrible app.
Xero me and Xero projects
Work well however it would be good if Xero me and Xero projects had the option to put in lunch breaks (paid and unpaid) this would be a great upgrade.

Works but few annoying quirks
The app fails to allow log in when using a VPN. When entering hours worked the user should be able to select default fields to be populated automatically and only change them for the odd time they do not apply: why do I need to select normal earnings rate and number of hours worked every single time? Allow me to set a default and only have to change it when I work more or less hours or the earnings rate is different.

Super glitchy
Freezes and glitches a lot, freezes and doesn’t allow me to scroll far enough down to enter my hours, does this for all my co workers too

Super buggy app
There’s seems to be a small window when it works. Every other time you need to log in 2 or 3 times, it forgets your fingerprint id and then your pin causing you to log in all over and “create” a pin again. It’s a requirement for our work but any other app would be better I’m sure
