Works, but…
I’ve had these lights and this app for years. It works to do its basic job but every time I open the app now it shows I have no devices, so I have to log out (which freezes the app), close the app down entirely, then log in again. After that it has my lights but not the groups so I have to redo the groups every time if I want the whole room the same.

Нужно создать аккаунт Сяоми, я это делал в приложении Сяоми Хоум. Там же подключаем устройство (в моём случае Лампу), после чего устройство уже можно подключать к Алисе, но в случае с умными лампами она будет управлять ими не корректно, только Вкл/Выкл. Чтобы все работало на полную нужно работать с Илайт Классик, там входим в аккаунт из приложения Сяоми Хоум, у меня устройство сразу же прогрузилось, как уже найденное, но если что можно и заново активировать поиск. И уже в Дом с Алисой подключаем устройство умного дома из Илайт Классик. В этом случае всё будет работать исправно. Звёзды снимаю за то, что нужны танцы с бубном, а так всё работают исправно

Broken in iOS 26.5
While this app was always awkward, it at least did what it needed to do - control the company’s smart bulbs. But it became completely broken by iOS 26, insisting that Local Network access isn’t enabled for the app when it is, thus refusing to link to any of its expensive and now-useless bulbs.

Update: takes minutes to load when open. Can’t interest with lights.

Wi-Fi
If you struggle to enter WiFi name when adding lights - enable “Precise location” in Settings for this app. Если не получается добавить имя сети WiFi - то разрешите приложению использовать точную геолокацию в настройках
Это реально лучшее приложение.
Это однозначно лучшее приложение для продукции Yeelight Только здесь можно настроить движение света как тебе заблагорассудится. Не мешало бы обновить интерфейс и сделать его более интуитивным , но спустя какое-то время я разобрался и да это действительно лучшее приложение для лент от Yeelight.

This app is now garbage it doesn’t work. It doesn’t see any of the products. I am pulling all of these out of our house trash don’t buy.

Use to be great.
Like all other reviews, the app use to function properly for years, now I have to log out of the app every time I want to turn my lights on or off. I hate giving it less stars as it worked so well for so long, but now it’s an every day annoyance when you’ve bought so many of them (recent additional purchases too) Alexa still seems to be able to turn them off/on (not related to the issue) but that is only really useful for alarms/routines.

What Happened?
My Yeelight light setup, which I’ve had and loved for years, went from amazing to awful. For some reason, it now takes several minutes for the app to find the bulbs—previously it only took a few seconds. If I close the Yeelight app and reopen it, or if I go to a different app for more than a few minutes and then come back, everything is forgotten again. The app is up to date and my WiFi connection is strong, so I’m not sure what changed. Maybe it’s some classic planned obsolescence to get me to buy new bulbs. So I did…I switched to Phillips Hue and I highly recommend everyone do the same.

I had this app for about 8 years. It's been great. App is broken since IOS 26 Update. Can't add new device or any old ones that go offline. Xiaomi Home has the same issue. I used to be able to control my lights with both apps but now my lights have become paperweights. Please fix!!! I'll bring it back to 5 stars once it's been fixed.

Everything is gone..
No support to the app. Everything is dead now. Logs you out, misses devices, can’t add new devices.. so sad..

App is Getting Worse
Have had the app since 2019, it has gotten significantly worse in the past year. Device keeps getting removed from app and no way to reconnect as app keeps freezing. Also keyboard within app does not work. Weird

Use to be good
The app when i first bought it about 5 years ago worked fine but now it seems everytime the app restarts the only way to connect back to my light i have to log out and log back in and that whole process makes it not even worth it i guess it’s just time to put this bulb to rest and get another brand 🤷🏽♂️

Nerfed everything
These yeelight smart bulbs worked great when I got them. The app controlled them very well. Now they’ve changed everything. I open the app and the lights don’t respond. I have to seriously wait 3-4 minutes before they finally respond and are usable. The api to control them with is a good indicator of what’s wrong. Something in the new firmware has made them unreliable. I’ll send a command via a script or even the app and there’s only a 10% chance they respond. I bet if I bought the latest versions they’d work way better. I’m going to throw these lights away.

Amazing if it would actually work.
The app has all these nice little features for your light but since the app is out of date and has not received any updates it refuses to accept my bulb and stays ima constant loop boot and never decides to connect to the bulb, it only worked one time and when it did it was nice, but sadly I feel it won’t get any new fix.

худшие лампы, ужасное подключение, лампа перестала работать через месяц, теперь лишь только мигает, не перебрасывается
조명 종류가 갑자기...
너무 잘 쓰고 있었는데요 갑자기 추천모드에 많이있던 조명 모드가 앱을 다시 키는순간 많이 없어지고 몇개만 남았습니다... 굿모닝 모드 여가시간 모드 독서 모드 해질녘 이렇게 4개만요... 원래 10개 넘었는데... 유료화 된건가요.....?! 너무 아쉽네요 ㅠ

Yeelight device not shown until turn off/on phone wifi
Device not shown , it’s need to be restart the wifi for everytime. My phone model is 14 pro IOS 16.4.

No longer functions as advertised. Several support requests have gone unanswered. They have abandoned this software and the users who purchased the lights that used it.

Gets the job done, but at a mild detriment
The app, while nowhere near perfect, is usable and does what you need it to. I had not planned on reviewing anything below 4 stars, until this last update. There is now an ad as soon as you open the app. They DO provide a skip button, but it is so tiny and put way in the corner. The amount of times I miss tap and end up redirected Indigogo. These are not the actions of a profitable, and user friendly company. Forcing ads down the users throat, and a mediocre, at best, UI flow. Beyond all this, Yeelight makes reasonably well made products especially when considering the price. Companies like Phillips and LIFX continue to keep their prices unreasonably high, regardless of the downward trend in LED price. Personally, I’m going to switch to using Govee as it seems to be the best middle ground these days. I hope this review was helpful for both the users and developers.
