So handy
Love Evo
Horrific
Constant phantom charges The bike will say locked and yet it will continue to charge me. Every customer service call takes at least 75 minutes The cars are all filthy There should be way more home zones the bikes are all way overworn Absolutely infuriating UI
Mister
Let me know when you are about to sell some of your cars!
New parking spot added for bike but won’t allow you to park
They added a new parking spot in north van very clearly on the map and marked on the street however in app you can’t stop there. The actual marked area is down a block and in a very inconvenient spot.
Uber and Lyft apps comparison
Comparing to Uber and Lyft apps. Both of them have stronger login security, allow for payment options beyond credit card, and mask private data better. Evo displays drivers license data unmasked.
Super fun
Easy and convenient well priced . Faster bike would be nice
Terrible customer service lately
App can be super buggy, sometimes have to go through the unlock sequence of the car twice. No way to chat with an agent online. And the worst part is that there’s no way to find the car if it’s an underground parking lot. Very disappointed lately.
Love EVO, But It Can Be Better
I love this service and use it regularly. Feedback: A “flash lights” or “honk” feature would make it much easier to find the car, especially in busy areas. The GPS also needs to be more accurate downtown, it sometimes shows the car on the street when it’s actually parked in a parking lot. There should be an easy way to report a car that can’t be found!! That’s probably the most frustrating part of using EVO, especially in downtown.
Gotta fix the font size!
The app is fine, but seriously, for people with even the slightest sight issue it’s almost impossible to read the license numbers. Please fix!
It’s good and bad
Sometimes useful sometimes stressful
Go to app for Vancouver
Very easy to use and use it regularly
Lime was better
In every way
Fun but loose seat
The ride was super fun today but a bit unsafe due to a loose seat
Can’t find car sometimes
Shows car should be here. No car here, though. Why?
Cranks need tlc
Cranks were sounding rough
That was awesome
Thank you
Wish I could rate minus stars
Terrible experience the bike would processed as returned and missed 2 sea buses trying to get customer service in the line
Missing key feature imo
Wish I could see how long my current trip was, how much I’ve spent and view past trips otherwise app and service is great
Good concept, app is very poor
The overall app should work a lot better than it does. I have had multiple episodes of walking to a booked Evo marked on the map, only to reach the marker and there is no car. I also had a bug where everytime I opened the app my mobile data would stop working, so I could not either unlock the car or end a trip. Which was very frustrating. I also find ending the trip difficult sometimes. It is not always clear if the car is on or off. Thanks Tom
Lately has been glitching
Lately it’s been glitching and making me try three times before I can start a rental - happens almost everytime.
Amazing
So good. Almost perfect.
Don’t waste your time
Customer service is kind of useless and there are hidden fees. I recommend taking an uber or renting instead. Useful for out of town trips tho.
Easy service
Great and easy service. Application is a bit low quality as web based. Doesn’t feel great, but not impossible
love the service, app could use some work
App is slow, has frozen a couple times. Could use some TOC
AG
Okay base functionality but many shortcomings that make Evo use harder. GPS shows and allows booking of cars that have been left inaccessible in secure garages (and there is no functionality to report in these situations other than calling in) which has left me stranded on a number of occasions - on one recent evening I booked 3 or 4 cars in a row only to find that each were clearly left illegally in an underground garage. Ability to report damage in app after the car is unlocked would be appreciated - it is difficult to see issues when approaching a car at night or on a busy street.
Great service and having this as a transit option!
Super easy to use, practical and means we don’t need a second vehicle, love it!
You Can Never Find an Evo Anywhere
The cars are never where the map says they are! They’re either inside a residential building, or inside an office building, or in a parking lot that you don’t have access to, or simply not there at all. The app should be able to tell its users EXACTLY where the cars are, including if it’s inside or outside and, if it’s in a parking lot, it should say what level of the parking lot the cars are. Very frustrating!
Too many times can’t end trip
The app is great for booking, and the stopover function is fantastic. The one recurring and persistent fault is that 1 in 4 times I have not been able to end the trip at UBC.
Lots of room for improvement
Could be much better. Great service but the app and technology are nowhere near other similar services
Lags a lot
The accuracy of the car location is off about 20% of the time, and often, it takes more than a few minutes to be able to actually end the trip, so they charge extra.
Nice services
I like and use daily going to work both evo bike and car in downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver and really enjoy how handy are your equipment
E bike motor not working
See title
Not trash but could be better
Gotta give it to em tho…. The new Prius sedans are a smooth ride 😮💨
Hidden charges and just not worth it.
Evo had the potential to be great, but as with all great ideas someone at the top gets greedy. There are specific prices you pay for the evo time, for eg. $16.99 per hour maximum. Except you also get charged a dollar for every usage and there’s taxes on top. So an hour is actually $21. Also the app continually glitches. I’ve been sent to cars that aren't even in the area they say they are. I have been locked out of my car on stop overs with my belongings in the trunk (always take the key) and in general, it’s not much cheaper than Uber now a days and you don’t have the hassle of walking to the car and parking up.
Evo
Car was good but the exterior was dirty
Awesome
I love the convenience they availability. It’s all good.
Maps isn’t loading
With 5G+ and Wifi on
Need More effective Map and damage assessment
I can get around without any issues. Just a few small things that could make the app a great one: Integrate with apple or google maps instead of its own map to gauge walking distance and directions better. Too many damage pictures to sort through, so I end up taking pictures of every non-stickered scratch or dent.
New design is slow
I’m Evo’s biggest fan, but the new app design is very slow to load each screen. I’m always left with a progress indicator when trying to do things before that were fast. Also the design seems to have God’s towards Android style which I’m not a fan of. Please update and I’ll change my review.
Decent system. Lock and unlocks work well.
Their basic method of locking and unlocking is pretty darn good. The bikes are generally in good condition, with a few minor mechanical exceptions. What is missing is a way to give feedback on the mechanical status or electrical status of a bicycle at the end of a ride.
Love It
The flexibility from rideshare is amazing and fantastic!
Worst setup ever
Why is it so hard to the the ebike to unlock, it supposed to be scan pay and go, wtf. I give up, u win. Wish u bankrupt soon
Great overall, really enjoy the convenience
Really a great service for Vancouver area. App is functional and quick, not perfect, but get the job done. Having car access is really helpful around the city
Needs some work
The app is very glitchy and making a reservation always requires trying to reserve several cars before it actually works and lets you unlock one! I get error messages all the time. iPhone 6 support, as well as the ability to view your past trips/billing would be a great addition!
Ghost evo’s, but great customer service
There has been a repeated issue where I’ve gone to get an evo and it simply isn’t there. That being said, the car share service is really convenient and the customer service interactions I’ve had have been absolutely great. It’s definitely worth it if you don’t have a car and need to get somewhere fast, but just take into account that there may be bugs. :)
Such a life saver!! Convenient, and fairly priced.
I recently lost my car, and Evo has been integral in my ability to commute for important appointments, meetings and just having the ability to drive instead of bussing has been a blessing. All of the cars that I’ve used are wonderful, and for the most part clean. Overall comfortable and smooth driving experience.
AWFUL
Do not use, double check everything. Dangerous. Pedals are broken, motors don’t work, seats are broken, dehydrated after trying to find new bikes, couldn’t get refunded, charged for the full hour
Good Update
Looks much speedier. Starts up faster. No radar anymore? I guess that’ll come back soon.
Great app! One improvement:
add a filter to the map so you can see where the home zone is!! I try and plan out trips and i always get nervous wondering if I’m in the home zone or not. Would take lots of anxiety of mine (and probably others!) shoulders :)
