I just wanted to let everyone know that this is a wonderful company!! Their customer service and support is wonderful!! They’re a company of their word which is kinda hard to find in the world today! I highly recommend them! I enjoy reading their books!! You will too!!
IOS Freezes
This app does not allow to listen to the Audiobooks without downloading first. I have attempted to download a book to listen to several times and it freezes the app requiring me to delete app reinstall and try again. Unfortunately, I’m defining insanity with this app platform.
Loving it so far but..
It is tough to imagine an app for iPad that cannot switch between portrait and landscape. This is a really strange limit. Developers, please add my vote for prioritizing this feature. Write this in Swift UI so it can easily reconfigure the view.

Needs improvement
I miss several features, such as being able to listen at any speed I like and the correct reactions when I use my iPhone earplugs (stop when I push stop and don’t rewind or ff, please). And sometimes I need to activate the following chapter manually...

So Slow
The site is slow, the app is slow - the overall company gives lack of convenience and product efficiency to its consumers. This app is no different. If I wasn’t given a gift card to use by an unknowing friend, I’d step away and never use this company again. There are much better audiobook platforms available.
CarPlay
Please make this app available for CarPlay. Other than that, I have had no issues with the app. My purchases show up instantly and ready to go.
Not the worst not the best
My main issue is it will close randomly while I’m trying to listen to my book.

Please add a search function inside the app so I can search and download new books. then it would be worth 5 stars.

Great App
This app is super easy to use and it’s linked to the website buy a book and it pops up on the app. I had a problem and they responded back quickly and fixed the issue very happy with this app.
Scammers
I bought a book in January, but they kept charging me in February and March. I did not subscribe to any service. Refund my money! Edit: I received a partial refund. The account is under a different email.
App is OK but.....
App would be improved if you could see timer on screen and if the timer setting was on dashboard not via settings. Also be good if back button went back over a track. If listening in vehicle or in dark in bed as is common I suggest having to go back to previous track thru another button and then having to come forward to get to end of that track is annoying fix it.

Terrible service
I just wanted to purchase one book I paid the price. I read the invoice and then the next month I get hit with a monthly fee. They said a subscription. It was false marketing because I never agreed to pay for a sub subscription. I just wanted to purchase that one book that I wanted and when I reached out, they said there’s no refund I do not recommend them. If I had known a subscription, I would’ve joined Audible much better.
A few hiccups
After a few hiccups the correct department made adjustments to some issues and everything was fixed properly
Not Good
The books stop playing randomly and its difficult to rewind or fast forward more than a few seconds unless you go back to the beginning of the track. Also not sure why they are not called chapters? Im always trying to figure out how the track corresponds to the chapter in the book. The worst thing about this app is that sometimes it stops working completely and will freeze on a blank white screen. Im tired of having to remove the app and reinstall it to get my books back. It happens constantly I like the service but the app is so inferior to other audiobook membership apps and I can only have so many subscriptions; this is the one I cancelled.
Offline play a bit glitchy
Overall an easy app to use, but it drops my play for no apparent reason when I am offline, and items that I was certain had already been downloaded in full show as pending. Just needs a few tweaks for those of us who are not ALWAYS in a wireless zone.

i pay full price fir audio books, and I expect full value. audiobookstore.com gives a shady excuse for not allowing download of audio on mobile "mobile browsers wont reloably download full content" - i fell for that and installed the app, only to discover they pre-roll ads on the audio. shame on you audiobookstore.com. i am still a customer because this is one of the only places where one can purchase an audio title and download it without being tied to an app, but only when done on a desktop or laptop computer.

Hello, I do enjoy the app. Works well and serves its purpose. I would like if it was easier to get to the book purchasing website. Currently there is no link to get to the library to buy more books from within the app and I have to remember this apps name (very similar to other book purchasing websites) and go to the web browser app and search online. Makes it challenging when someone is having a conversation with you and recommending a book, and you’ve got to toggle around to try to find it and hold conversation. Or maybe add a wishlist area right in the app. Would help prompt more sales too if procuring was easier. Also, in some books (Celestine prophecy) it does not automatically go to the next chapter. I listen to the books while driving and find it frustrating to try to change chapters while driving. But overall the audio quality is good, I enjoy I do not have to “wait for buffering” and it just downloads them all. I go in and out of service so I appreciate this greatly. Thanks for the app! Look forward to seeing if these bugs get fixed.
Book purchasing should be on the app
Wondering why there’s a monthly charge for this app when you still have to purchase the book to read? The app is confusing and there’s no link to connect you to the bookstore, it’s just a listening platform...?

I love this site. I listen to several or more books a week. Other apps have a higher monthly fee and higher prices on books you buy. I noticed on other reviews ppl said it was hard to get to the site, but all they need to do us bookmark it and it pops up on the home page when I open the internet. Maybe make it easier because the older crowd wanting to use the app aren’t as comfortable with tech. I’m only early 40’s but I am always getting stumped w tech. About the app: books download immediately once bought on website. You have to have the audiobook store app on ur phone. That is where the books end up. Once finished u can delete them from your devise to save space for more books. Don’t worry they are still yours, just backed up on the website on ur acct. When u want to read them again you just re-download. Sometimes when I am not on WiFi or have a slow connection, download is slower. I try and think ahead and download before leaving the house. One glitch I think is fixed—sometimes after a chapter the next doesn’t play. There is no rhyme or rhythm to it. Some chapters start immediately, some don’t. Can be frustrating when listening while driving or cutting the lawn. Either way it’s my favorite audiobook app and I’ve spent thousands on books. Keep up the good work audiobookstore.com
Can’t download audio files
Please don’t purchase from this company. They claimed I downloaded an audiobook, but all I did was try to click it to see if I could get the audio files. I couldn’t, and now I can’t be refunded. Definitely try Libro.fm or someone else. They are not generous about refunds.
new audiobook player needs help
please fix this device ... has a lot of great features if only it didn’t take so long to load and didn’t crash every time i switch to another page like to text or answer the phone ... then sometimes it still doesn’t load properly and have to shut it down ad start over ... and wait ... and wait ... i have deleted it and reloaded it and it still doesn’t work as effectively as it should 😔 now the bookmarked pages aren’t numbered just shows “Chapter...” and the latest bookmark isn’t always at the top of the list where it belongs but randomly ends up at the bottom ... i have a new phone so it loads faster but will NOT stay open in the background if i go to another app ... very buggy ...

Deceptive at best
If you buy a book, it automatically starts a subscription that is not mentioned anywhere in the app description or when you purchase a book. You also cannot just opt out of it. You have to go through their customer service to cancel and they are not the most the most urgent about it. Would NEVER recommend this app or their deceptive charges
Not easy
Your site is not user friendly. I for the life of me cannot figure out how to purchase a book. You are losing people. This should be an option to choose when you are looking at your reading list.

No way to download and listen. Absolutely terrible. I never leave reviews. But this is a scam
One stop app
I would like to be able to search for books within the app. It’s an inconvenience to find the website when I need to search for a book. For this reason, I hardly use this app.

I give this app 5 stars because it has everything and does everything that I want it to do... plus... sometimes you can get discounts on some books. Unlike Apple/iTunes who do not offer discounts.
Sneaky app
When you buy your first book pay close attention otherwise you’ll end up with a subscription and when you cancel, it ends that day. It’s a sneaky and deceptive company.

Other audio apps allow you to keep your place in a book from one device to another so you know where you left off. This app doesn’t appear to have such a feature.
