Jumping chapters
Good day, kindly advise why I cannot jump chapters, I’m currently listening to the Covenant of Water and it keeps going back to chapter one whenever I stop and come back to the book. It’s a long book and it’s getting annoying not being able to jump to whatever chapter that I am currently on.
No customer service support
Says it’s unlimited but monthly stops allowing me to listen with ‘ you’ve reached your limit ‘ flags. You can not call, email or Contact this company for help.
Awesome selection
My taste is based on my many moods. Thrillers Romance Horror fantasy Sci-fi to the classics Anyplay’s selection keeps up. With new releases daily. Please for all things bookish please update your search engine.
Sad
I could forgive the glaring issues if the app was free, but we all pay a good deal of money to use it each month. No bookmark feature for audio books. Search function ONLY works if you put the author in, not the name of the book. App won’t remember place. Chapters are nis labeled. The name won’t even display on the radio, or apple play. Come on app devs, DO BETTER!
Like the idea bad app
I enjoy the service but constantly am dealing with glitches in the app, sometimes I search and nothing shows up …. Even though it’s authors I’ve searched for previously.
Sad
The app is amazing and I used it all the time and had an annual subscription, why have you ended that as an option
Continue
Every time I open the app or unpause from where I paused 5 minutes ago, it starts the book from the beginning. It is very annoying
Love this App Wish It
Love this subscription and app, my only complaint is that it doesn’t work with CarPlay like every other audio app out there. Developers, can you fix that?
So glitchy
I find that this app has som many glitches and no app support
Anyplay
I love the app great variety of books to listen to however I have had some technical issues and have written to the support team on numerous occasions with no response
Why did they change it
I used to be able to listen to any book for a reasonable price. Now it costs 3 times more and most of the books i request are not available in my region. This has never happen before.
Subscription
I took he 7 day trial and rhen R199.99 quaterly, even though it show in my apple account the App keeps telling me I need to get the subscription before I can read the books. I now eventually cancelled but still has a subscription till 6/12 without being able to read the books
Plans, great all
What are the differences between all the plans, other than that love the app
So many books not available with a subscription
I beginning to wonder what the point of this app is. Lately 1 out of 10 books I want to read are not available even though I have a subscription! Why need a subscription?
I like it but cannot cancel
The app is good, but I want to cancel my plan, however the mange subscriptions does not work. It does not open when I press on it. I do not have time in the new year so I want to cancel the renewal. Not sure if it is my mistake, but “manage subscriptions” is in blue, everything else opens up in that colour. I cannot find any other place to manage the subscription from. It is frustrating.
Awesome 🤩
This app is awesome I love it !(do try it ). I have only listened to the book’s but I now it’ll be gust as great. To read them!❣️👌😊
Downloads not saving
Really frustrating when you have downloaded a selection of audio books and finding them gone when you go back to the folder the next day!
Previous downloads are lost in the new upgrade
Hi there Please assist - I lost all my downloads with the new update at Monday 16 September. You use please assist. The best app ever. Please note. The chapter search bottom left corner when you're in the audio book is not actioned sinCE the last upgrade.
Half the books don’t play
When this works, it’s a wonderful resource. But most of the books give an error message and won’t play, which is very frustrating. It also is prone to crashing while searching for a book, and the names of authors often appear multiple times in searches with no accompanying books.
Trouble playing
Love this concept and idea. Many books I want to listen to just load and never play. The ones that do work well. Quality books. To search I find it easier to search for the author. When I search for a book it often doesn’t not pull up.
Request
Please! Please! Please get some Jonathan Kellerman books!
Terrible App
This App is dreadful as you can never start off where you left off in your book. I do a lot a travelling in my car and this app is a risk as you have to swipe through each chapter to try and find your last place in the book. 2nd time I’ve used this app and while the content is great the app is really crap. I rather pay more and drive safe knowing I have a better app to use.
Not working
This is the first audiobook app with books I don’t have to pay for like Sarah j Maas my fav author as soon as I get into it it turns off some how And when I listen to we’re it left off it happens again What gives if it was up to me I wouldent give any stars 😡
Don’t waste your time
There are a lot of good books available on this app, HOWEVER you won’t be able to listen to them. Every time I click on a book I get an error message. If I do get to start a book it will randomly cut off or loose your spot. Not worth the money.
1.5 years
I had a subscription for over a year and a half, it was great at first but the repetitive types of books got boring after a while, also the “new” book recommendations were popular in 2000, nothing new really changed and too many autobiographies of celebs were blah. Lastly if you want series that have multiple books, you have to search hard for them, they don’t all get categorized correctly. Ultimately, it’s fine, you get your money worth, but you will get bored after a few months of the same.
Love this app!!
Great app and great books, listen while you are busy with driving or exercising…. The best
Glitchiest app I've ever used!
Love the stories on this app, but will definitely not renew my subscription. CONSTANT glitches & the fact that you still need data to listen even after downloading the book doesn't make sense. Was so excited to listen to my book on my flight to Cape Town like I usually do with Audible & Scribed after downloading the book, only to be seriously disappointed that I can't listen to it if there's no reception. Used a GIG of my data in 1 hour & I still couldn't listen to the book because the app glitched the whole time. What a waste of money!
No ability to bookmark?
The selection is good and the controls are easy to use, but there’s no bookmark option for audiobooks???
Finding the app very buggy
This app has so much potential, but it’s just riddled with bugs :( One infuriating bug is that my audiobooks often default back to the very start when I come back to them after having paused or minimized the app. There also doesn’t seem to be a contact centre to assist with complaints/problems.
Good app but frustrating
It’s a great app with good books, but every time I stop listening and go out of the app it goes back to the beginning of the book. This makes me mad, as I pay every year for the app and they can’t fix this?? I always need to screenshot where I stop listening so that when I listen again I can remember which chapter I stopped at. This is very frustrating!! Can it be fixed?!
Brilliant
This is one of my top apps of all time. It’s not perfect, but it’s affordable and has a great variety of books. Keep up the good work!🥰
Content unrelated
The content of this had absolutely nothing to do with Dale Carnegie or his book but rather the do’s and don’ts of some university round table broadcast.
Worst app ever
Most of the books are nog available🤮🤮🤮
Technical issues
The app started off great, but with my last few books it no longer keeps the place - can you imagine how frustrating that is…. Having to remember your place in a book for next time. To make it worse, I can’t select the chapter from the chapter list, so have had to scroll through chapter by chapter to get to my place. Sadly, my email to support to complain about this was not responded to.
Pace setting
When you adjust the speed at which you want the audio to play, the overall length of the book doesn’t change. This is very frustrating as I have no idea how much time I have left in the whole book without doing math. Please change this!!
Loving Anyplay
So nice to have access to such a large number of books and so many authors for such a reasonable price Fantastic program
Need a refund
I wanted to try the 7 day trial but was charge the full amount of R200 Who can help me please
I listen on two devices
But I cannot synchronise them. It drives me crazy. Otherwise it’s more cost effective than Audiobooks.com
Book currently unavailable
It hardly plays any book at this stage!!!
Anyplay maybe
Books yes there are plenty. But the app has issues. It crashes everyday and will reset the book your listening to to the beginning often. Just make sure you know what chapter your on before pausing or stopping the book. I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle.
Amazing
It’s much cheaper and better than audible
Anyplay
I want to unsubscribe after a week free trial but cannot find where I do this.
Bug
The app keeps kicking me out? I have tried reinstalling but it is still shutting off? I also noticed that the app was not auto saving your chapters but going back to chapter 1? However absolutely love this app and being able to listen to unlimited books!
Frustrating.
Currently listening to a series and now the books won’t play. I immediately get kicked out of the app when I try play this authors books. Tried a different author and it played. How do I get this fixed? Can you advise what the problem is?
Frustrating
Every time I open the app my book starts in a different random spot, it doesn’t keep my place. If you can’t bookmark your spot (audible does this automatically) then it becomes very frustrating.
Love this app
Love this app. I’ve even got my son listening to audio books with it. Just wish it was compatible with Apply CarPlay.
I hate it
IT RIPPED ME OFF
Some needed improvements
I’m enjoying the app so far. There are a couple books I want to read which aren’t featured, but there’s certainly enough to keep me busy. Please allow 2x listening speed - I like to listen while reading, 1.75x is just too slow.
Very Limited
I can’t always find the books I’m looking for and my saved titles more than often become “unavailable in my area”. I first have to be connected to WiFi or switch on mobile data to open the app to listen to books that I’ve downloaded. Not worth the subscription fee.
Great app, until all our favourite books were removed
My son and I really enjoyed Anyplay. Great interface, easy to search and find titles and a wide variety. Unfortunately, it seems David Walliams has been suddenly removed from the available library. So I’m cancelling and going with another app that has the books we like to listen to. We were halfway through Ice Monster as well, so I bought the paperback so that my son could hear the rest of it.
