Poor customer experience and deliberate sabotage
The app will not automatically the Miles Club ( So called Maharaja Club) number in checkin even if you apply for check in after logging in the app. The so called OTP never arrives. Its a scam they run.

I enjoy Air India, very much, in general. On my last flight, the TV and head phones worked badly and other things were broken. Otherwise, it’s generally good.

Many of my air india travels particularly air india Alience are not being taken in to consideration of my trips and not even taking as a recognised boarding pass.. some times it is difficult to register in so-many apps.. it is better you take automatically from DigiYatra

Even after signing in with the Maharaja club FFN, the app asks for the FFN in the final steps. So the booking is lost while you retrieve the FFN App experience can be improved

I booked my Premium Economy seat almost 6 months in advance, specifically because I wanted the additional comfort and benefits that come with Premium Economy. However, Air India later downgraded my booking from Premium Economy to Economy. There is one amazing people Jyoti handle my query very nicely and guided me for my itinerary
Very Disappointing Experience with Air India
My recent experience with Air India was extremely disappointing. The airline changed the terminal as well as the flight, resulting in a much longer journey and unnecessary inconvenience for passengers.For an international flight, the condition of the aircraft was also disappointing. Many of the entertainment screens were not working, and the overall cabin showed significant wear and tear. The aircraft did not feel properly maintained to the standard one would expect from a major international airline. Since the Tata Group acquired Air India, passengers have been expecting a significant improvement in service, aircraft quality, and overall travel experience. Unfortunately, based on my recent experience, I did not see the level of improvement I expected.

It’s easy to book a flight and nicely streamlined, but every single time the personal details are completely forgotten and have to be reentered which is crazy. Absolutely nothing is remembered between bookings.

Change seat options but they again charging me when I try to change the seat which I already pay for
You have so many seat available if family members traveling together you must offer two free seats next to each other. I pay for it, but I’m trying to change your seat because you have so many available. I’m trying to book it at the front dial now and you charge me again which is not fair.

No scope for seat selection . Why don’t you increase fare and ensure option for seat selection?
A bit tedious and not able to pay for upgrade
Everything was fine until i decided to upgrade for my flight several times. The page would stay blank and nothing. After trying four times the upgrade was unavailable. Quite disappointing for a 10 hour flight. Upon entering passport and visa info i had to try many times.

Awful experience on points claim
I wanted to claim points of flights I did 3 months ago. But the app just would not accept the request. What’s the point of Air India running an air miles program if it does not want anyone to get the points.

Not working on both legs , staff don’t know, touch screen not working. Travelled in BA and TU. similar issue in Tu from Gatwick to Goa on one side and they credited 60 pound back to account. BA took the flight off track , technician sorted the entertainment issue before took off.
Dangerous landing
While we landed from Bhopal to Delhi on 14th . The landing done was very scary and panicking.

Why is insurance option mandatory? I went through to all payment details and then it tells me to select insurance option on the previous page

1. There is no details what is needed to prove member of Armed Forces or Ex servicemen or senior. 2. Going to previous page is cumbersome 2. No details of what items a particular meal contains 3. Extra bagage-whether a separate bagage for checked in baggage or carry on. 4. Too high rates for baggage within India

I’m very upset with writing this review because when I booked AI2018, at that time it was showing me Vistara aircraft and now its showing me the OLD aircraft which I really don’t like and I don’t enjoy in their, also I booked the seat number 51K and that seat has gone and taken by someone else, I don’t know why??, really disappointed and not happy obviously :(
Great except for an annoying miss.
The app is sleek and snappy. However when looking at your flights in the app, no indication of am/pm is given. Almost messed up my trip.
