I had a bad experience The customer support not available on call Safety is very low Drivers have communication difficulties You have to pay in the wallet before hand and u won’t get that money back … The driver won’t come for picks up to all locations due to local association issues and then for simple misunderstandings ur forced to cancel the ride You won’t get refunded like on premium apps as the customer support is not supportive I really don’t recommend them ever . They don’t care about their reputation nor are they able to think big scale … the focus is making money as there are no other cab agencies apps … really bad experience … And call customer support does not work ! Save your time for better things than on taxi and customer support arguments not worth it .
Great app with some teething problems
Very needed service in Goa but unreliable- many times no cars nearby or last minute cancellations. Advance bookings also rarely accepted.

A mixed bag
After several months of using GoaMiles, I am left feeling a bit at a loss for how to review it. For the most part, if you’re in Goa for a holiday, I think it will serve you well— particularly if you schedule the trip back to the airport ahead of time. For those living in Goa, the results are decidedly mixed. Drivers are generally helpful and good at jobs. That said, drivers often don’t check the app before your trip, typically opting to call you and ask you to explain where you are and where you’re going to them despite them supposedly having access to the information. Additionally, if you have anywhere you’re going (particularly during the off season), make sure to schedule a trip in advance or else you will not be able to get a car. Additionally, i am not sure if the app tells the drivers that some trips are scheduled in advance. Often the driver will show up early and annoyed that they are expected to wait. Goamiles has often been very useful but is a limited app. I am glad that uber is not an option in Goa for the sake of the drivers here. That, in addition to customer and driver safety, is the most important thing. That said, at times GoaMiles is inconvenient and has messed up my plans that I made with the assumption that I’d be able to get a cab.

Useless app
It is a good app provided you don’t need it to book taxis. I tried booking taxi from different locations on different dates but you hardly get any taxi. I don’t know how this app has got such a good rating. I downloaded it based on the rating and reviews. But it all seems to be fake. I had recharged the wallet in the app and am struggling to get my money back
Affordable
Much affordable than any cab which charges 3x more than this app. However only works well inside panjim City, otherwise I advice to book a ride 2h before if you want to get it. A lot of problems logging in and top up the balance
No option for customer support
App is decent but there is no way for customer support as a user of app. The phone numbers just have automated reply yo teach out by chat but there is no chat feature at least in iOS effectively meaning there is no customer support
Better than nothing, far worse than Uber
As it’s the only way to book a cab online in Goa and avoid getting scammed you’re basically forced to use the app as a tourist. Fortunately my credit card worked, and I managed to get around Goa. Now the big issues: - Location services always make you end up booking your ride from a different place; you then have to walk there - the targeted time of arrival is always wrong. Add at least 15 Minutes - drivers accept your request, but stay stationary for ages. Cancelling would mean paying a fee. Customer service will cancel for you though - coverage aside main attractions and cities is little - you get logged out almost daily (minor inconvenience, still…) And finally: they always want to call. Which as a foreigner without Indian SIM for phoning (I only had data) means you’d have to pay a lot for calls So summary: get it because you virtually have to, but bring a lot of patience and anger management strategies

Totally lost cause app driver doesnt come and even if they wont come app charges you 100 rupees so please dont download this apk
UK traveller with debit card
Works well for prebooking taxis. In north Goa at least we had no luck using the “Book now” option. Also it wasn’t possible to save debit card details, even when we checked that option. Entering those card details each time was a bit of a faff. Maybe this is only an issue for tourists without all the other UPI pay options etc.
Never any drivers
Great app, easy to download and eventually deposited some money in order to use it but it takes forever to get a ride. We tried to book a ride from Anjuna beach at 10pm on a Friday night and it took 30 mins to get a driver - from one of the busiest places on the busiest night. How is that possible!
Reasonably reliable service
The service provided by GoaMiles is reasonable. Most of the drivers are very polite and professional barring a few exceptions. Availability of cars is not very good and in some cases once a car has been booked the driver will call to confirm whether you made the booking (I can’t see much point in this) AND also ask you where you want to be dropped off - again I see no point in this except in some cases where the drop off point is not too far the driver cancels the booking! So I wonder whether the latter is the reel motive in calling ie for the driver to find out whether the trip is worth their while?

Not reliable and once you put money in it ain’t coming back
Can’t book a cab without putting money in the app and when I couldn’t get a cab after trying for an hour (which is usually the case), I initiated a refund which I still haven’t received after 10 days.. there is no customer care, just ai chat bot which tells you to wait for 7days.. bad experience
Location inaccuracy
The Airbnb we stayed does not pick up on the app whilst it shows on Google. Very hard to obtain a cab:(
Barely usable
Tried using the app multiple times, never recieved any drivers despite trying and trying. Also payment process is extremely patchy
When it works it works
I’m not one for leaving reviews but tourists be careful. The pin pointing feature isn’t great - when you zoom in it will then move to the other side of Goa. I’ve also selected a drop off point for it to then select another drop off point after I booked. There are only a handful of taxis registered with the app so if they are booked up or not working then you may need to wait or find a taxi in the street. When we booked a taxi from our hotel to the airport the driver would not come to the hotel and wanted us to walk ten minutes, with our luggage, to where he was. We did manage to use the app to book taxis a couple of times and it was quick and efficient.

Cars often not available
Everyone we know in Goa complains that Goa Miles seldom have cars available and often the app doesn’t work. However, when you can get a car they have good rates, like Ola and Uber in other parts of India. LOCAL TAXI DRIVERS ARE A TOTAL RIPOFF. So you’re forced to pay them triple or even quadruple the normal rate or else you put up with Goa Miles so you at least get a reasonable rate (IF you can get a car from them.)
Scam, try to stay away
They will take a min of Rs.350 and then you won’t find any cabs.

A must-download app in Goa for tourists
Not perfect, but it makes your time in Goa SO MUCH BETTER!!! I would give it 5 stars on effort. 4 stars simply because it's still a little buggy on credit card entry (couldn't use my US Visa but Amex worked; also had to input my credit card number every time I added money, even when I had the CC saved in the app). It's not reliable for requesting immediate ride requests, but scheduled rides like from hotel to the airport are perfectly timed and 3x cheaper than what others had to pay from taxi services. The app can be buggy sometimes, but nothing that a close a reopen of the app didn't fix. Literally saved so much money and stress of the unknown cost drivers will arbitrarily tell you. Thank you Goa government for trying to make the area more pleasant tourists!!!

First of all not finding cars in morjim area! Every time is logging out if i not use for one hour! Trying to top up my balance, but after i fill all details its just crushing, and without money in account wallet i cant take a taxi((( Very bad experience, please before you release app, fix all bugs!!!

Not happy that the first booking the driver cancelled on us. That was pretty poor form We had to reach our destination at 7.30 pm Thanks to the second ride we got there but only at 9.00 pm. That’s pretty unreliable However the second driver Mahmood was very good and took us to our destination with no fuss

So many years, tourists and Goa lovers have had to struggle to travel within Goa, without having to pay a bomb or rent a car. Over the years, people started bringing their own cars into Goa that increased traffic as well as became reason for road accidents. Goa Miles has finally solved this massive missing link! You can book point to point service without having the need to rent cabs. My first experience using Goa Miles today was brilliant. It does take a little longer to get the cab, or the driver takes longer to arrive or even the time for cab to arrive is missing, you can yet be assured of finding one within a reasonable period of time. Thank you team Goa Miles for making it easier for us to come back to Goa more often!
BackOffice cancels your pre-booked ride without notice
I booked a ride several hours upfront. 30min before my pickup I got a call and request if a smaller vehicle was still ok. I agreed, but After I asked for reimbursement for the lower price/category, the lady asked for some time to check, hang up and cancelled my ride without further notice. Worst service experience ever. My vacation schedule went for a toss.

This app needs fixing
The app crashes all the time. Everytime there is a cancellation the passenger gets charged even when the driver cancels. Cannot call driver or call centre from the in built app call icon. This must be correct as it causes too many issues when trying to connect with drivers. Call centre inbound calls hardly go through. Please update this app as it’s good for tourists so will be beneficial once able to be used with full capacity.

Worked as expected. Will use it again
I used it in North Goa. The tariff is transparent and it is informed to you upfront. Drivers call up to confirm pickup locations. It was easy to get a ride after 11pm as well. In addition to existing features, I would like to see option for hire for the day.
Foreigners- this won’t work for you
Was disappointed when I arrived in Goa. Uber only works on reservation and tried 3x but no cars were available. Taxi stand at the airport told me to download this app to get a taxi. Worked for me on my first trip Then tried to use again, the app wouldn’t allow me to add their “goamiles cash” which is required to book a ride, but it does not accept foreign credit cards. Google pay option does not work either, quite disappointed given that this is a destination with lots of foreigners, yet no way to get around because the local taxis protest Uber and Ola, both of which are much safer and reliable, especially for a tourist that is already quite nervous traveling alone in this country. If you are from India, this app will be helpful since the rates are quite low and your cards should work. To anyone at the company reading this, PLEASE find a solution to allow foreign cards to work. It’s a win-win for everyone in doing so.

Staff at airport unprofessional, don’t have any customer service they need to be more professional and provide better customer service, driver behavior was good but not proper dress code looks like came from some cricket match. And Goa miles App Store is also too slow. I hope I will get better service next time. Thanks

I understand a founder cant actually help resolve every drivers things but cant help to give 1 star its cheap pathetic app. The driver was drunk af and we had our lifes on risk for 1.30hours, this is ultimate greed of goa and its people not to allow Uber and Ola which have quality standards, and we risk our lives to these cheap people of this app. Actually go and find something where driver wont be drunk af and sleepy af
Bad response
Many drivers do not even respond afyer booking forcing us to cancel which will deduct money from us rather than the driver. Pathetic as therebis ko other competetion
Far away from UBER but better than nothing
App works although it’s far away from UBER or GRAB and gives you better prices then the greedy local taxi drivers. Downside is that cabs are sometimes not available in some areas. So if you are not in a rush, the app is an alternative. If you need a reliable ride, this app is not your think (all though I never had a reliable cab driver who was on time during my 30 days in India!)
