Experience in Ahmedabad Gujrat
I landed in Ahmedabad and to my surprise the car had to be collected from someone and not at the airport. Further, when i reached the destination to collect, the car was in a dirty condition. The AC also not working and unable to connect the Customer care centre

The support team is very unresponsive. You can never rely any kind of support from them.
Good App with few limitations
It’s a Good platform for Rental cars, but verification process is difficult. Customer service is good, else it would have been a problem
No help in emergencies
The functions of the app work fine. But it is buggy - like showing Bangalore Airport T2 as being 30km away from where it actually is, and thus the car return simply would not work. And there's no way to call anyone. Thus, also when previous car host refused to give the car at the last minute (because he was apparently getting too little money from Zoom), I could not call anyone for help and was stranded. Horrible experience. It was not like this 2-3yrs back. I will definitely think thrice before using them again. Sad, considering the amount of potential they have. Revv is a safer bet.

If u spend sometime with Zoomcar, u will realise it’s just like another fraudster. Committing frauds in an organised way. So be careful. One mistake, u will be done .

I have booked a car from zoom car. I am unable to unlock it on the app. We and the car owner are both trying to reach the costumer care from 6:00 pm and it’s already been 2 hours and no one is responding. Such worst service by the app. We have submitted all the amount

Malfunction in app
The booking experience was hassle free however the delivery experience and the trip initiation and completion experience was bad. The support link do not provide the call button and after so much struggling when I was able to contact the Zoomcar team then the support team was not able to resolve the challenge in single call had to make multiple calls and at the end they asked me to share the issue on mail and completed the steps in backend. The delivery person and the pickup person were late by more than 30 min and I have to struggle a lot to get the contact details of pickup guy.

I tried for airport delivery, but when I tried to book it’s not working as expected. Some cars are not available for airport delivery but still it’s getting listed.

App crashed, CC not responding or helping
I have to pay the security deposit and couldn’t pay due to an issue with the app. I requested the CC to bypass the payment for now and add in outstanding amount mainly because it’s an issue with their app and not my side. Yet they didn’t help. Plus the whole issue arose due their app crashing and I have been waiting on road with my family for good 30 and none of their CC responded

Rental experience was just okay. My first time car rental went smoothly but I had to cancel the booking multiple times recently due to non availability of vehicle.

Very disappointing experience with zoomcar
We booked a Hyundai i10 from Zoomcar for 2 days for around ₹10,000. The booking was made using one friend’s phone number, and another friend’s driving licence details were provided for the booking. The trip was scheduled to start at 11:00 PM. Due to Bangalore’s heavy traffic, we were delayed and reached the location at around 11:20 PM. The person whose details were used for the booking was not at the location. We had another friend with us who had a valid driving licence, so we contacted Zoomcar and asked if we could update the driver details and use the other valid licence. However, we were told that the option to change or add another driver’s licence was available only before 11:00 PM. Since we arrived just 20 minutes late, the option was no longer available. I understand that verification rules are necessary, but the process felt extremely rigid. We had a genuine situation, another person with a valid driving licence was available, and we were only delayed by about 20 minutes because of traffic. For a booking costing around ₹10,000 for two days, I expected better customer support and some flexibility in handling genuine situations. Very frustrating experience. Zoomcar should improve its customer support and provide a practical solution for situations where the customer is slightly delayed and another valid licensed driver is available.
App has a lot of bugs, bad UX. And some very bad idea for security.
App in low quality. Many issue and bad UX, it make me deleted the app only after 3 mins used.
Refund and booking amount needs to be returned on time
Booking amount should not be locked until hosts confirms the car. Many times host rejects booking and we need to manage with available options and booking amount gets locked and we will have to wait 7-10 days.

Be sure to confirm the car before travel
I booked the car once and host canceled it as Zoom car was paying very less. Ended up renting from somewhere lease. Again tried and was very happy with the rental. So lesson learned is book in advance and have plan B in case host cancel it and message the host immediately after booking is confirmed.

I writing this review after 3 years of using zoom car. There are many changes that zoom car has brought into car rental market. They are doing really great job . Being customer centric will definitely lead this company to great success . All the best

Deteriorating service and quality of cars
I booked recently for a third time. Sorry to say but car’s tyres were really worn out. One tyre got busted within 4 kms. Another one even though not punctured frequently lost its air pressure. The car was dusty from inside. Couldn’t take it for longer drives for fear of tyres getting busted away from the city and getting stranded somewhere. The one I booked last time was having overheating problems. The customer service guys were not ready to accept that cars given to the customers could have problems. According to them the cars were immaculate and it was something I must be doing to get the car in this condition. I wish they gave more attention to maintaining their fleets. This experience has left a bad taste in the mouth.
