iPhone is still not able to cashout ahead of time.
Functionality broken
Switching between locations no longer works. When choosing from the dropdown at the top the location doesn’t switch. If I close the app and reopen the newly selected location loads. This is on an iPhone pro max 15 fully patched. Also when editing someone’s time card, the time is half off the bottom of the screen and isn’t readable until a new selection is made.
iOS cashout error
So I haven’t been able to use the cashout feature for the last week and a half. Support had me uninstall and reinstall the app twice which didn’t work, then told me it was an issue that was being investigated, then told me it was an issue with iOS users. When I informed them that my fiance has an iOS device and cashed out perfectly fine, they said that it only affected some users and didn’t know when a fix would be available. Do better please. That cash out service is invaluable to lower income people.

Homebase had gone downhill. The availability function works only when it wants to. Switching locations works if you cross your fingers. The cashout integration hasn’t worked on iPhones in 2 weeks and support ghosts you. Started my trial with another app.

I like that I can sync it with my phones calendar. Automatically adds on my work schedule so I can keep track of everything in one place !

I own a business with approximately 45 employees. In our state our Workers Compensation reporting is done at the beginning of the quarter. Even after our CPA explained this to, Homebase doesn’t file the reports correctly or pay the withholdings on time. Ever. We have contacted them over and over and they will not let us talk to anyone in the “Tax” department. We have now received several collection letters. We have had to double pay the withholding just to get it taken care of and when reporting the issue to Homebase they tell us we will have to ask for the refund from the State even though they still hadn’t paid the overdue payment. We are switching payroll companies this month.
Great app but needs some work
Homebase is genuinely a good place to avoid scheduling conflicts for work but it takes forever to load into the app. Surprised this issue hasn’t been addressed yet, considering the countless reviews about it.

This app takes forever to open and whenever it FINALLY opens and I try to request time off it will glitch- the screen will go black- and my phone will stop for several seconds. Most annoying app I’ve ever had to use.

Works well, could be clearer, I can’t see the whole schedule, only mine, but it could be a manager function to hide it, so, I don’t know. Works fine overall. Could be simpler tho, and have a dark theme.
Cash advance
This app works as a basic scheduling app but it has a cash advance thing where you can take some of your paycheck out before you get paid. The problem is that at a certain point, when verifying your identity, you can’t actually go any further. It prompts you to fill in the email slot when there’s no slot for the email in the first place. How the hell does that work.
Could be better
This app is good but no English version and i cant connect my NatWest account to it so i cant really get the money out i had to connect my dads account but other than that its easy to navigate

AI USAGE
i use this app for my work & had an agreement pop up that included AI making the schedule—business owner later will approve. This is so lazy and outrageous. I do not want AI creating my work schedule. If I deny the agreement, it logs me out.
Exceptional
We have used many scheduling software over the years. Homebase is by far and away the best. However, as we are based in the uk there are a lot of features we cannot use or don’t work as well for us. It would be nice if more support was available for uk businesses and some consideration was given to uk businesses when designing features and upgrades as we pay the same as American companies. That said it is an excellent software.

nice app, cool features. buts it’s super slow and buggy. shouldn’t be this hard to have the app running smoothly.
Great app that signs you out every day
The app itself is great, but you have to login about 3-5 times a week if not more. Sometimes several time the same day. UPDATE: The Homebase team suggested to clear my phone’s cache. I tried and it is not the issue. I also have hundreds of other apps that don’t require me to sign in this many times a week. My coworkers experience the same issue as myself.

I have to restart the app sometimes 4 times before anything loads, often making our employees late for work. Any button you press on the app to go to a new page reverts you to the previous page then you have to hit the button again. At the end of every shift it asks “why didn’t you take this break?” When there was no break required, even if the employee has already taken a break. You work 10 minutes and it tells you to take a lunch break. If you try to clock in even 15 seconds early it tells you you need a manager to approve. It’s a very poor app

Love the app for my work but have some suggestions!
Everything is set up very well and easy to understand and manage. My biggest issue I personally have is how my employees can change their availability at any given time which makes making the schedule so difficult so we’ve turned to manually doing availability and don’t allow Homebase availability for our workforce! Other than that, literally love it.
Progressively getting worse.
First, During 24’ the celebrations in Homebase was a useful tool to highlight the significance our peers and now its such a boring part of the app. What is the point of removing the celebrations emblems and clean UI it once had to replace it with a garbage UI and soulless chat. At that point just remove celebrations… Second, WHERE ARE MY SHIFT BUDDIES! That was an important piece for Homebase because I could see the crew who would be working that day to inform other people from work who were going to be insight. We need shift buddies back!
Using to schedule volunteers
We currently use the app to schedule volunteers at two UK vaccination sites. It’s been invaluable given the time we had to set up the programme just before Christmas - however it is a bit clunky and needs a bit more tech invested... but for the cost v delivery it’s not bad!

Poor connection quality
This app is ok. But the feature to cash out is amazing but….. it has NOT BEEN WORKING. Contacted support and they say it’s on Apple phones, the androids are working fine. I need my money… now! Fix it!

Homebase is keeping the rostering current for all the volunteers for our local vaccination volunteering program.
Limitation When Trying to Cancel a Shift Application
The app works well overall, but there’s one issue that really affects my experience. When I apply for a shift and something comes up before the manager accepts it, the app doesn’t allow me to cancel my application. This is quite inconvenient, especially because I work on call and often deal with last- minute changes. Other apps do let me cancel a shift before it gets approved, and that flexibility makes a big difference. I hope this can be improved.

Cash out not working. Bugged.
When it hit cash out on the setting tab it displays a portal over the app that allows me to select 0-100$ cash out either instantly for $5 or a couple days later for free. It doesn’t matter which option it hit. The button toggles. And the screen acts like it’s loading then goes RIGHT back to the same screen with no completion message. Bugged. No deposit was made. It worked last pay cycle not since last last Friday has it worked.

I have my VPN constantly on and this app refuses to load when there’s a VPN connection. Annoying.
Notifications too general
Not bad, lots of good stuff, but only getting a general notification of “schedule change” when only one specific shift in the schedule has changed is pretty shot. My calendar app is better than this. This app needs specific shift change notifications when that happens.
