What people like
- Apple Watch complications show data perfectly at a glance

- Easy to check your home weather from anywhere
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly with no paid option
- App crashes or shows errors on newer iPhones
- Completely unusable for blind people using VoiceOver
Awesome app!
I have used this app for a couple of years. It has always been an extremely useful app. Love the features and design. When the new version added the Watch app I immediately subscribed. Seeing my weather station data in complications on the Watch makes PWS my most used Watch app! Great job!!! Many thanks!
Not a good app for visually impaired people
I am a huge Weather buff and I like to be able to see how much rain we’ve had. I’ve been using Weather gods and Weather underground and I was told about this app. I downloaded it and looked at it and it’s totally not accessible. Me being totally blind it would be totally useless for me. I definitely would not be paying for a subscription for this unless there’s improvements.
Very good
Gives a lot of information.
New update won’t update
I went from iPhone 7 iso 15 to iPhone SE2 with iso 17. Old one still work great but when trying check my new phone. It said error and not updating. I dunno why cuz everything else working fine. :/
New Update
Nice app when data is available. Was excited for the new update with “updated social media links”, but there are no links for Facebook, Instagram, There is a link to Twitter/X, but no current posts on Twitter/X. Tell us you’re a political app without actually telling us. Very disappointing.
New update
The new update is wonderful. Makes this app really useful .
Limitaciones
Nice program
Works well overall, can be a little difficult to install and get it to talk to your weather station but once you get it you got it. The system seems to drop out every now and then but if you reboot the modem it comes back online, I haven’t figured out why it does it.
Sehr schade.
Why no monthly stats?
I wish there was the ability to have true monthly stats in a table format.
awesome app
does everything it should do and nothing that it should not. love this app
Unterirdische Optik,
Useful
Accurate, useful information, very good policy on collected data about you
fehlerhaft
No sure why the problem is.
My data is always dropping in and out and I don’t know if it’s the app or the wax station itself.
Looks great, works great
Looks great, works great. The graphs over time are very informative, especially for pressure and temperature. It’s nice to see my two weather stations’ data on my phone!
Cer 4.0 not accessible for vision impaired
Oh dear, Ver 4.0 not useable for blind people who use ios Voice Over. Without text descriptions and with data spread across screen it is impossible for Voice Over users to navigate. Old version presented basic data in accessible table format. I will revert to Wundergroun app which I do not like, but is accessible..
Good value for money
A piece of software that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Never had a problem using the features. I’d recommend using it.
Buono
Great app!
Easy to use. Nothing like it out there. Awesome to know weather at home when I am out of town
Simple and reliable
The mobile version could do with a fresh new look please and like many others would pay for an ad free version
The old version was better!
Can no longer clearly see the temp graph as before, even in landscape you don’t get us much detail from the graphs as before, it definitely looks more polished though
Great App!
App is perfect for monitoring multiple stations giving you real time info as well as approaching conditions
Suks
Does not find any Canadian stations. Guess we don't have any.
Great but ads
Fantastic minimalist weather app. Lots of data, readable graphs, and localised weather stations for most accurate results. And all of it with tacky adverts running nonstop because there’s no paid version. :(
5.0 update is amazing!
This is THE perfect app now to accompany your wundergorund connect weather station. Previously I had only found one or two options to get live pws data on a watch complication, but the new watch app has blown away those options!
No Canadian stations
Disappointed that there were no Canadian stations. Description said worldwide.
Great app
It’s a great app. Works great but it would good if there was an option to remove the ads. I hope this is something the maker of the app could look at doing. Other than this little bug it’s a great little app. Keep up the great work.
EXCELLENT App for Hyper-Local Weather.
The July 2026 update lets you configure the display on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch to show exactly what Weather Underground data you want from any station(s). The Watch complication is a work of genius. The $10 annual fee for widgets and removing ads is very reasonable; bandwidth isn’t free. No Weather Underground subscription is required. I use the app to show data from my personal weather station on my watch, but I could as easily rely on one of the other Weather Underground stations nearby. Highly recommended!
Werbung ...
Great app but no ability to download data
This app gives great information about the daily temperature, but it would be even better if it was possible to download the daily data (or even better, data for the month, if it is available from the weather stations), so we can create seasonal or annual reports. That would give accurate information for the area the weather station is in, to compare with BOM’s adjusted information.
PWS MONITOR
I have had this for several years and is the best “snap shot of the day” app I’ve found. I have my own weather station and being to quickly see the weather at home is fantastic.
Love App but not the Ads!
A great App, use it all the time to check out weather @ home from anywhere..... Please get rid of the ads!!! Would be 5 star if it had no ads!!??
Great app
I built a weather station from scratch using a cm5 and various sensor boards. I needed a way to get my station to be visible where ever. Weather underground made sense but the app interface was un desirable and I didn’t want to dev my own app and all that comes with an app dev account. I found this app, and honestly it’s been perfect. When I saw the dev made improvements I wanted to support. This app is great, and does exactly what I need without having to do backend or web server work and maintenance. I’m grateful to have it and happy to pay to share my gratitude. Also the app design and layout is so optimized.
Simple but gives you all the information
Great app! Very simple but easy to follow interface. Only fault is there is no paid version to remove the ads. Otherwise, would have awarded it 5 stars.
