Nice
This is a really good application, where you get very clear and with real color like in real life, which squeezes the maximum out of the camera
Pushing AI slop
Went from a slow, but interesting, attempt to replicate Pixel Camera on iOS, but has now started pushing genAI junk onto its users
Weird bug feature, but still a wonderful iPhone camera app
I absolutely love the developed photos this app delivers, but there is one thing that I always have a problem dealing with. The developed photos can be viewed on Project Indigo, but when I check them in Photos they become the original version, without the modifications of Pi. I find this sometimes disturbing because the Pi photos look a lot better, but you just can’t view them or share them in that form. Developers, please solve this problem to make your app even better.
Pls fix.
Always love this app. However, the newest version is not that good. Hard to focus the subject when taking pics. Pls fix it.
Nice photos, bad battery
Probably the most unreliable camera app around. When it works, the images look very nice, definitely an improvement over the stock photos app. When it doesn’t work, the app crashes, doesn’t save your photo until it is processed, or will simply show a black screen with no camera. The settings are easy to use and more powerful than stock camera. However, it seriously heats up my iPhone 14 Pro to the point of overheating under normal use. AI denoise crashes the app and heats the phone a lot. As soon as this is fixed, this will be a pretty great app.
Incredible controls
I have been using this app for over a two weeks. The images I am able to capture with my 13pro through the app are sharper than any I have taken with my cell. I am a huge fan of the app. Thank you.

Capture without unlocking plz
Please make a LockedCameraCaptureExtension. I would love to assign Indigo to the action button or camera control.
Pre-Subscription Guinea Pigs
Adobe is offering this product free for now but you just wait - once they get it dialed in they’ll come after you for money! It’s the Adobe way!!
Support on older models
Dear team, what matters most is the support for older models since the newer ones already comes with great camera capabilities. Sent from a XS Max
希望可以支持中文
有的地区还没上架
Не работает на айфон 12
Что поделать
please add pre-saving for undeveloped shots
I lost loads of great photos because, by the time a photo had been taken and was being processed, my phone’s memory would be full; and while I was clearing it, Indigo would be unloaded from RAM, the processing would be interrupted, and the photos would disappear :( Otherwise, it’s a brilliant app that has almost completely replaced my standard camera. If, once you’ve sorted out the ‘development issue’, you decide to add a video function, I’ll be the happiest user
Can’t find option to switch photo resolution
Does it exist on the 17? Or its disabled by design?
Cool app, terrible performance
Please focus on making the cold start faster. Launching the app to snap a quick photo only to see a 5 second start followed by a new version overlay update is extremely frustrating. Other than that, a very cool app.
Support
Please update the app so iPhone 13 could use it too.please please please they all said its the best and I really want to try it
App stopped working
This app seems to have been abandoned, and is now failing to open about half the time, and sometimes drop pictures altogether instead of « processing » them and pushing them to the photos app
夜景很棒,曝光控制的很好
总体不错,就是发热比较严重,希望能升级到支持24MP,现在只有12MP,光线条件好时优势不如原生相机明显,因为原生相机可达24MP
IPhone 17e support?
Any chance of support for iPhone 17e?
75% There
The app takes great photos and removes the over processing however if you leave the app for any reason there is a very high probability that whatever photo you just took isn’t going to process and no way to get it back. This is incredibly frustrating and the biggest limitation. There should be some option to pause processing so you don’t lose the image. I’ve lost a handful of very important photos due to this.
Polished and gives a much more natural look
The images look much more pleasing to my eye, similar to the Pixel’s aesthetics. I just hope this app doesn’t go anywhere or becomes part of a subscription.
Unacceptable privacy permissions
Not worth it for the terms and conditions.
Great App for stills.
I got exposed to this app pretty early and have seen how it has transformed the photos from my IPhone 16, just now I have noticed that the support has been extended to iPads as well and I am pretty impressed by the photos it can take now, it just that it still take a second or two to process it completely and I request you guys to extend the support to regular 13 series as well. My old phone can use some of your apps magic.
Disappointed
I've been using Project Indigo since it was released in the App Store. I really like the pictures I get out of this - way more than the default iPhone camera app. As a new dad, I've gotten some wonderful shots of my son that I will cherish forever. However, it is this use case that eventually made me give up on the app. I've lost way, way too many photos - some really wonderful moments of my son - due to crashes, processing issues, or just plain getting discarded in the app. Take a picture and app decides to randomly crash? Photo's gone. Take a picture and lock your phone before it's done processing? Photo's gone. Take more than a few photos at a time and processing gets stuck? All photos are gone and your phone is hot. I initially let it slide because I really did love the results and accepted being an early app adopter. It has gotten a little better, but not enough to keep me around. In the age of reliable smartphone cameras in your pocket, it is too damning to take a picture, see your awesome memory in the bottom left processing, and then it disappearing before your eyes - with nothing left to show for it.
Good on phone but no iPad support
It’s good on my phone. I like the control. I want it to work on my iPad Pro. It doesn’t not.
Amazing
This app is fantastic, I hope Adobe continues working on it, the image quality over the standard raw iPhone photos is drastic. Massive upgrade. Photoshop required for DNG files.
Freezes on iPhone 15 Pro
Constantly freezes during shooting on iPhone 15 Pro since the last version
Great! Makes a difference
it actually makes a big difference in photo quality. the DNG/RAW capabilities gives it a professional touch. I do wish there was some sort of video mode though!
Straight up loses photos
This app is an experiment and it certainly feels like it. If you switch apps while it’s going its lengthy (even on my 16 Pro) processing, you may come back to find the photo you took is just - poof - gone! Not worth the risk!!!
Quality good but lag and heating phone
Good photo quality but it something so much lag phone and over heating issue Fix this problem
Feature request: macro mode focus bracketing
I am doing some macro photography, and I absolutely love your app, especially for the super resolution on the 2x image crop. However, in some macro situations, the depth of field becomes prohibitively narrow. Because of this, the solution is focus bracketing, to digitally widen the depth of field. I am requesting this feature, as it would increase the usability of the app for me significantly. I can see 2 possible implementations: one would be to just output a raw image sequence to process on the computer or to do it directly in the app. The former would be a quick and easy feature to push, and it would make me very happy, but the second would turn this app into a literal piece of magic and I couldn’t even express what a difference it would make for me.
Add support for iphone 13
Add supoort for iphone 13, alot of users still uses iphone 13. Download numbers will definitely increase after it if you add.
Clarity & Colours
I’ve been using this app for about a year now, and on my iPhone 15 Pro, the photo clarity has been really impressive. The close-up shots come out crisp and super clear, which I absolutely love. That said, in daylight, the colors can sometimes feel a bit over-saturated. But in low-light conditions, the results are actually even better than the default iPhone camera, which is pretty amazing. Just wanted to say to the Adobe Labs team—keep the updates coming and continue adding new features. It’s already a great app, it just needs a few improvements to be even better.
Not supported
I used this app in other devices but i want to use it on my iPhone 13 but it still doesn’t support my device
iPhone 17 heating issue | Great app otherwise
Hey, I am using this app on iPhone 17, it takes great photos. Pro mode is really good. But it makes the phone heat a lot when there is even normal sunlight and moderate heating issue without sunlight too. Requesting devs to prioritise this issue in upcoming sprint 😅
I hope to add multiple languages as soon as possible, especially Chinese.
I like the camera function very much and the interface is also very simple and eye-catching, but it is not very friendly to non-naglish speakers. Simplified Chinese can also be added.
JPEG needs to be retuned completely.
Needs a lot of work on SOOC Jpeg, 17 pro max images are heavily denoised, a lot of motion artifacts seen whenever there are motions in frame using 2x SR and 8X SR. Manual exposure control do not work in pro mode, the app overwrites whatever expo is set (ex. Adjusting on moon shot at max zoom. Tree foliages are mushed in jpeg, shadows are heavily crushed as well in all lenses when facing harsh hdr. Saturations in jpeg needs to be dialed down as well. All these problems are noticeable at 100% crop. The tele is unusable in indoor low lighting, and outdoor night shots after sunset on any zoom levels. Alot of fringing noticed as well when facing sun or hdr scenes outdoors, I have submitted all these issues on their forums at Adobe. I suggest having a dedicated channel to submit photos and issues live to the devs and beta testing app channel before releasing.
Use review
Good app photo quality is very good better than iPhone camera but do not support 10 x zoom also heat up the phone very quickly. After fixing these issue I think this is best camera app
Shutter Sound Bug on Japanese iPhone Variant
I’m using a Japanese variant iPhone in India, and the Indigo app has a pretty frustrating bug. As soon as I open the app, it starts making the camera shutter sound non-stop and won’t stop no matter what I do. I tried switching lenses 1x, 2x, ultrawide, everything but the shutter sound just keeps going until I exit the app completely. There’s no in-app setting to fix this, and I couldn’t find support easily, so I’m leaving this review. Please fix this bug because it makes the app unusable for me!
look at me
In fact, when I updated it, I felt that you had been focussing on the 17 series and ignoring the experience of using other products. What's more, 17 is a fourx optical zoom, but 16 is actually five times.
Very good app
Great quality app and easily to use. Way better than the normal camera app!
Bad experience
I use 11 pro Max and your app don’t open in my phone is too bad
Needs a bit more optimization
The apps works great mostly but needs more optimizations, the app doesn’t run very smoothly and the camera still runs in the background when im editing or viewing the photos in app which costs a lot more battery, this is one of the top issues for me.
Camera shutter sound
Whenever i open the camera there is camera shutter sound and clicking of pictures non stop untill i close the app.
Shutter Noise
Every time even when I am not clicking photo’s Shutter noise can be heard continually.
The mobile phone model is not applicable
In order to use this software ,i deliberately upgraded the system of my phone, but i found that it was not applicable to my phone model.I earnestly beg the developers to upgrade that can also be used on the iPhone 13.I really like this software .Thank you
Great pictures, terrible UX
This app does some great image processing under the hood; however the recent update makes it basically useless for quick pictures (e.g. of your kids) since instead of pausing the processing of recently taken photos till the next time the app is opened, it deletes them altogether.
Compatiblity
Please make iphone 13 compatible with it.
Good but it can be greatttt…..
Great app so far . But it needs a portrait mode too since most of the people are gonna be taking photos of the people. Also it needs an HDR on off switch just like the google camera. And the app needs to be more optimised since currently its too laggy and not responsive enough for a camera app . This app still feels like an ongoing experiment.
So much shutter sound
