A downgrade for rewards
Rewards used to be accessible through the confused website - it worked perfectly and I never had any trouble. Of course, everything needs to be in an app now, which is like a website but worse in almost every way. Claiming rewards should be as simple as tapping the appropriate button to see the code. There’s an additional security measure where they send you and email with a passcode which on the surface is fair enough, but in practice is utterly broken as entering the passcode kicks you back to the start of the process and never actually shows you your voucher code. Then, be prepared to lose hours of your life attempting to fix the issue as the online chat is of course an excruciating wait to talk to an actual human person who may or may not even have the authority to fix the issue, but on the upside there is an AI bot to gently lie to you about wait times being less than an hour despite the fact that you initiated the chat several hours ago. One of the big draws of confused was the rewards, as even if there wasn’t much of a saving to be had (and it gets slimmer every year) at least you could have £20 towards something else that made it worth while. If time is money then the multiple hours I’ve now spent trying to rectify this issue have not only negated any savings, but also rendered this the most expensive car insurance I’ve ever purchased. I think I’ll go elsewhere in future.
Bundle
App very easy to use but I do not like the fact that I had to agree to my details being shared just to receive my reward!
Slow
Put my convictions in, but didn’t save them
Wrong vehicle
Entered the registration for my motorcycle and it says it looks like a car registration
Excellent help
This is so useful to find the best deal in least time. I a,ways use it.
App locked me out of my rewards
App was working perfectly fine on my device, but then you released an update and made it require a later version of the software which isn’t available to my device so locked me out of my £20 reward and free coffee, can get the rewards via the website only the app!
Needs work
Cannot add Tesco e-gift cards to Apple Wallet as claimed.
Excellent service
Easy to use
Free coffee at Greggs
Can’t find where to get voucher
Voucher does not work
Redeemed a £20 Argos voucher, keeps asking me to verify to see the gift card details through one-time code, tried over 20 codes, each time the code seems to be successful, nothing happened when tapping on "view gift card". Was about to buy something that was running out of stock. Guess just bad luck. Customer service responded fast, though, saying it is the Argos side got problem, but I don't know how long I need to wait for it to work. I could get a refund of my £20 back to my wallet, but now I just felt it might not work again if I try to redeem another card... It would be good for big company like Confused to avoid these kind of technical issue if they decided to offere customer their rewards
Easy to use
I use confused.com every time one of my bills are coming up for renewal. It’s saved me a fortune in monthly cost and you also get a £20 voucher just for using them!
Mrs
Very confusing app. I don’t know where my reward is.
Really helpful to check deals
I found it a useful tool when needing to renew car insurance. Long used insurance company just doubled my cost to renew YOY. No way could I accept such highway Robert!
Broken
I’ve loaded this again and again and it’s not working. Not all buttons display and I can’t scroll and nothing works when tapped on to. Very disappointing. Wish I had gone to the cuddly meerkats.
Confused,com
Easy to use the app. Choose where to spend your rewards.
Latest update review
For some reason the latest update as of today, has frozen the app on the dashboard. As soon as the app loads it is frozen on the dashboard load. Had to just close it. Other than that the app is great. Same issue on both me and wife’s phone.
Great service
Great service and easy to use, the voucher basically redeems itself so easy to claim 5 ⭐️
It doesn’t work.
Fill all my details out for a quote despite using the app several times and the button does work to finally search for quotes
£5 Voucher
I got a travel insurance quote and purchased the policy and in return for a £5 voucher which is added to my apple phone wallet. There are loads of shops to chose from, I’ve chosen Sainsburys as I always need something from my local store so it will be very helpful. Thank you confused.com
Confused is exactly what this app is
Hard to use app which tends to drop internet connection and the screens go blank. Poor user interface of a long vertical scroll and the Rewards bit - the only bit you’ll use more than a couple of times a year - is very well hidden. You suspect they don’t actually want you to use your rewards because it’s more profitable for them if you don’t.
Confused.com
Best comparison site by far
Unstable
Crashes all the time when trying to access rewards
Great service
Great service from confused saved me a lot of time and money.
Price
Finding it very difficult to download reward (Greggs coffee) as do not have an up to date Smart phone. Even difficult on IPad. Not everyone can afford high end digital access!
