Auto Top-Up Relinking Issues and Poor Family Card Info Sharing on SimplyGo
I love to use this app for checking the bus timing and paying for my EZ-Link cards, but the SimplyGo app has been quite hard to use recently. I previously set up auto-top-ups for some of my family’s EZ-Link cards. After I cancelled my credit card due to a fraudulent transaction, I tried updating the credit card linked to several EZ-Link cards for my family. I ran into problems and was unable to update most of them. I also tried to terminate an auto top-up for one EZ-Link card for my parent and was thinking I could relink my new credit card, but it has remained pending for several days with no update. At this point, I still cannot update my credit card or relink some of the EZ-Link cards for auto top-up, and every attempt has failed. I also tried topping up some of the EZ-Link cards manually from the app, but that did not work either. My elderly parent, who is not familiar with this system, was charged a $20 penalty when the auto top-up failed as his balance fell below $0. Could you waive the penalty fee and help fix the system so these updates can be completed properly? There have been so many issues with this system after the update one or two years ago. It is difficult to do many things when the EZ-Link card is not a SimplyGo card or activated in the EZ-Link top-up machine at MRT stations. I manage the EZ-Link cards for all my family members, and if I am the first person to link their EZ-Link card to my SimplyGo, they will not be able to view or do the same in their SimplyGo app. They have to add the EZ-Link card to the group, unlike before when we could share the EZ-Link card with different users easily and see it directly from our SimplyGo account. Additionally, have you thought that a credit card linked to auto-top-up will eventually expire, and we will need to relink a new credit card to the auto-top-up? There are so many issues with relinking now. The whole system is not very friendly. Could you do something to improve it? Thank you.
Alert notifications bugs
This is a great convenience app to use in sg transportation but how do I turn off all notifications alerts when all the disruptions alert are off?

Nice app makes topping up of card easy and convenient. I can top up my son’s card with a few clicks.
Cannot create new account
I input my email but app rejected my application asking me to change my email. I only have 1 email, what do you expect me to input?

My auto top up is not working
Payment update
Payment update too slow. Imagine paying so much on this app & system. If the update is still not instantaneous it is considered a failure. Worst than a online shopping platform.

Very buggy app
Either login screen loading damn long or loading cards damn long or top up loading damn long. Gave the benefit of doubt and restarted my whole phone but still the app didn’t respond at various stages. Proceed abit by bit after every restart. Stuck at top up loading screen for ages and then didn’t moved on. The only thing that made me proceed here to leave a review. Kindly look into it.
New app is polished, missing express top-up
Great improvement to the app, now supports CBT cards. However it's missing the express top-up feature from the EZ-Link app which was very useful for ad-hoc top-ups without needing to add a card.

The Alert Setting is useless
All of a sudden many bus alerts flooding in cannot turn off. So I have to turn off all alerts.

Unable to topup concession card without adding card to account
There is no option of topping up the card without adding the card to the account. If your card is already added to an account, you cant topup using another account please add back the feature were you can topup a concession card without needing to add the card to the account

Auto up not working
Auto topup suddenly stopped working. I have to delete the credit card and add the same card back again to make auto topup work.
Top up function not working
Suddenly the top of function and this app is not working. I have found the customer support desk and they said it’s a glitch. I have deleted and reinstall the app with no success. When it will this be fixed??
Useful but could use some changes
I have downloaded this app to track transactions and my money in the card. However, I was able to add my nets flashpay card but not my ez link card. It told me to do a singpass but due to my age i cannot get one. Please fix this issue.

Easy to check balance, top up, blocked lost card
Cannot submit claim
Cannot submit claim because the App display correct boarding station but wrong direction of the journeys. Worst, we are not able to correct the direction of the bus journey.
Overall serves its function
Easy to check public transport transaction on bank cards. One suggestion is to add the feature of modifying sequence of cards. When I have multiple cards, I need to swipe couple of times to view transactions from the most recently added card.

When I'm using the journey planner I'm unable to see the bus services i can take to my destination. It's been like this for me for a while even after reinstalling the app

Missing Bus Numbers in Travel Guide
Have been using this app until recently, I noticed and reported one issue that needs to be fixed. In the travel guide, after I input the Location, Bus numbers will be displayed. But, they are missing now. Please fix it.
Change of Credit Card
My credit card has expired and SimplyGo doesn’t allow me to change to the new credit card.
Journey planner
Pls improve ui ux ! Kindly have options for Fastest route with changes n indicate time for journey multi stop to end destination include separately approximate walk n waiting times for train. As well as point to point without changing train or least changes options! And fare charges ! U shd hv a look at London n Paris Metro apps . Currently yr app m sorry to say sucks on this journey planning !
Consolidated expense
Need an easy to use interface to view consolidated spending. For example, when I select "last month" date period, I want to see the total spending instead of just how much I've spent for each trip.
Guest mode
Why why why still no way to use foreign cell nr and card? And why can’t I add funds in guest mode. Everything in SG works amazingly well, please fix this one issue…

Worst app ever in Singapore
I duno why public transportation app in a developed country like Singapore can be so rubbish?? Card top Up is so slow. My wife Cannot top up to my kids concession card becos it is tied to my account, wat a rubbish bug. Unable to add card for auto top up after using 2 cards. Transactions is not even updated live… I being using China apps when I travel. It is much much faster. Pls Singapore is already losing a lot Liao.. pls pull ur socks up before all countries to overtake us already.
App is easy to use but misses entries and exits
The app works well but when using a credit to swipe in to the MRT 1 out of 4 entries or exits ends up not getting registered even though there is no problem getting in or exiting the MRT. This results in surcharges and extra charges. There are definitely bugs to work out in this system.
How can it write to local storage without permission?
It created a folder “SimplyGo” on local storage but it never asks for permission, nor does iOS log its entry under “Privacy and Security—> File and Folder”.

Absolutely useless app
Other than taking people’s information, do you really solve the solution. Can’t top up for days and left to chat with a bot who doesn’t understand and wastes so much time. I wouldn’t even want to give it one star.
Good effort but needs work
Nice clean interface. Information is all there but the bus stop interface needs to have the timings, not a link to the bus route which then requires selecting the bus direction and scrolling down another 5 pages to find the same bus stop from which I clicked before I can find the time of the next bus. Information is all there, just needs to be intelligently laid out. Could be a 5* app but well... Maybe next version
Good app
Useful for those using their MasterCard to pay for transport. Few bugs to address: 1. Unable to submit claims for MasterCard users as CAN ID is a required field. End up having to use website to submit. 2. Need a way to clear away all notifications. 3. Usage chart for MasterCard users, similar to what is offered for CEPAS card users.
