Keeps Redirecting to a Browser
I don’t know if this issue is due to poor integration with iOS or just a bug in the app, but this app keeps redirecting me to a browser when I tap on news links, even from within the app itself. When I click on a link on my Irish Examiner WhatsApp channel, it goes to a browser instead of opening up on the app. This is a problem I’ve never had with other news apps. The Irish examiner app never saves login cookies, so I keep having to sign in, even while I’m still in the same session. This is really irritating. While inside the app itself, tapping on some news articles redirects me to a browser. This is beyond ridiculous. Please fix these. If the app doesn’t work right, and I keep getting sent to a browser, then what do I need the app for? And if I have to sign in almost everytime I tap on a new link, then it’s not just worth the stress.
The very best for news and sport
I love to get the physical paper on a Saturday but the online version is great during the week. It offers so much quality content without charge! Notifications are handled well. Not too excessive and keeps me in touch.
Old news
Fix this bloody app please. Stupid app. Every time I open the app immediately an advert for something pops up on screen. There's a X at the top to close the ad but it won't work. Advert stays open blocking me from accessing any reports. I've deleted and reloaded the app but no difference. Waste of time.

The App is stable and works well. It’s not very accessibility friendly, as I can’t even adjust the font size.

My read of choice. A lot of Cork content but even as a Limerickman this is more acceptable than obsession with all things Pale from the other papers. I particularly like Mick Clifford, Donal Lenihan , and of course Ronan O Gara.
Irish examiner website
My first Port of Call each morning to get the latest updates on whats happening in the region and nationally. A Munster perspective is essential and that is a very important facet to the Irish Examiners attraction plus it has a list of brave and enquiring journalists who go beyond the superficial aspects of a news item and probe deeper. The paper holds the wielders of authority to own up to mistakes and makes them account for their actions or lack thereof. The principles of the Fifth Estate as regards Democracy are alive and well with the Irish Examiner. Finally, keep it free and keep it coming. Thank you.
Doesn't work
This app used to be a bit buggy and would occasionally close straight after you open it but since the last update it won't even open.

Whenever I find a news article on the Irish examiner it confirms my opinion that is it light years ahead of the other Irish broadsheets.

This update is a joke. I cannot access any news since this update has been installed. I do not understand why I have to divulge my name, gender, & age just to read the paper. Will stick with the independent for news from now on.
