Super App for Business!
As was recommended by many well respected influencers and business leaders, the hardest part (given that I grew up with pen and paper) is remembering to actually use it enough (eg., like when actually writing this review)!

Please just a bit of love for the keyboard
First, speech to text - incredible. Which is why the next part is so frustrating: when you DO have to type, the keyboard is downright unusable. So still switching between keyboards all day. Other 3rd party keybs with fewer dev resources do so much better. Turn physical keyboard quality up from 3 to 8 on the dial and will be hard to argue against this app and the sub cost.
Wanted to love it
Functionality is great—I was surprised by how well it works. Unfortunately, the implementation is where it failed me. Toggling the keyboard on/off got weird, it broke/blocked predictive text, and it affected manually moving the cursor around text fields to correct errors. I’ll probably come back and try again the future because I really wanted this to work!

Very good voice dictation, terrible keyboard
Overall - the voice dictation is great and far superior to what apple offers. The major downfall and flaw is the associated keyboard is a 1 out of 10. It’s like the keyboard is intentionally bad to force you to use voice, but we know you can’t walk to your iPhone all the time and need to actually text. Beyond that, if you toggle back to the normal keyboard then to re-engage the voice dictation, the product is full of friction. You have to click a start button. It kicks you to the app and then kicks you back to the keyboard Wispr voice dictation and it is a bit of a mess. I think this product has a ton of potential but there is a tremendous amount of work ahead of it. The voice detection is wonderful but everything else is really bad.
Was good and getting better now pointless then fixed - variable quality
I initially installed this app a few months ago and it was OK but not great. So as there is always development I thought I’d try again - and it was amazing until last week. Now I can dictate only one sentence on WhatsApp, or two in Notes then it just stops - which makes it POINTLESS. Also it used to work well in low coverage zones now it just hangs and forgets what you said. I was looking forward to using this app more - now I’m considering deleting it. Update, 20th of August 26: Since the release of the latest version of Wispr Flow and iOS (1.72 & 26.6.1), the problems seem to have resolved themselves.
It's good, but it's not that good.
I will still be using this app, but the only bad thing about it after a few days is that it records your microphone all the time.

Way better on a Mac
9.5/10 on Mac… 8/10 on iPhone That's my honest review. It's a shame, really, because with the shortcut key on a Mac, you just hold it down or double-tap, and it's relatively instant, straightforward, and easy. On the iPhone, it always navigates away from the app you're in to the Wispr Flow app, and then you have to navigate back. As I understand it, that's not essentially Wispr Flow's fault. It's a restriction that Apple has put in place, but even so, it makes the experience less enjoyable than the experience on a Mac. It's just a little bit fiddly... once it's running and once it's dictating, you push the button, and it transcribes. So that'a great. But it would be so much better, and I'd give it a higher rating, if it was easier to use on the iPhone.

I was using this, after I used it I switched to normal keyboard. I still saw the microphone thing. This is bad app not recommended.
Delightful
Using Wispr Flow right now to write this. It is probably the most delightful app I've added to my ecosystem in years. It's so good, so effective. I hardly type anything anymore.

Not usable with Bulgarian
Randomly using latin characters instead of Cyrillic; Randomly translates short sentences to English; Adds paragraphs and “umm”, “uhh”’s to transcription, etc. Works OK in English.
Great potential but irritating quirks.
So I've experienced an issue now at least five times when making a voice note or a flow note that should be saved to scratch pad. I will say whatever it is that I need to say in the moment with the hopes of it being captured and saved. Once I finish what my voice memo or voice note actually is, there's an error with the transcription and nothing can be found. I thought the functionality allowed for the actual voice memo to at least be saved, even if the transcription wasn't, but that's not happening. Given that a lot of my work relies on me capturing things in the moment, this is a huge issue for me. It happened once, I was okay. It happened twice, I was okay. Now this has happened five or six times, so I would like to kind of understand: what is the root cause for this? Is this normal? Is this something that's on your radar? What is the recommended fix? Because at this point it is costing me intellectual property, and that's an issue. Wispr Flow does great if I were using it to replace my keyboard and do talk to text, but if I'm being honest, Siri can do that. I really want to see the value from Wispr Flow, which is why I decided to buy the subscription, but this has been a frustration for me.

I don't know if this app has been vibecoded or anything like that, but lately, you just articulate anything. You say a few words, and just random sentences just come out, like things that I have never said in my life whatsoever. It's just getting worse and worse. I have to restart the app like 50 times. It happens on the desktop as well, on the MacBook, on a Windows PC. When is this gonna get fixed?

Horrible on iPhone
Works perfectly on my Macbook Pro, but unusable on the iPhone. I dictate a long German sentence and all it detects is „okay“. Also doesn’t work for English. Best experience was when it recognized Korean.

Sehr gutes Voice Keyboard
ich nutze seit kurzem die windows Desktop und ios App versionen. Die Windows version läuft sehr gut und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Leider kann ich das nicht über die ios version sagen. Die Tastatur ist leider nur auf englisch. Umlaute sucht man vergebens. Es sollte möglich sein wie in swiftkey einige Tastatur Typen vorzuwahlen. Das zu programmieren ist ja keine Meister Leistung. Zumal die App so teuer ist. Wenn man in WhatsApp etwas umsetzten möchte springt die App immer auf die Hauptapp und von dort muss man per swipe wieder zurück. Ich verstehe nicht was das sein soll. Desweiteren ist die Erkennung von Sprache was aus verschiedenen Sprachen besteht ( deutsch, Turkisch) nicht immer gut. Ich hoffe das meine Rezession eine Anregung für zukünftige Versionen umgesetzt wird.
Man muss immer im Hintergrund geöffnet sein.
Die App startet sich erst mal neu und muss im Hintergrund laufen, sonst funktioniert der Mikrofon-Button in der Tastatur nicht.

I love this concept, and it works great in the laptop but this phone version is very annoying I get frustrated and end up not using it. You have to swipe to activate it every time you need to use it and it messes up with your music and CarPlay very annoying fix this please

I love Wispr Flow but as a iPad (with Magic Keyboard) user I really need a iOS keyboard shortcut. I keep searching for alternatives that have IOS native support and will switch if one comes out. Please give power users a solution.

No QWERTZ, no emojis
The voice recognition is really, really great, but if you want to add text yourself, it is super annoying because you need to switch the keyboard to be able to use a German keyboard or to be able to add emojis to your message.
Make it like you have in android
There are frequent crashes on my iPhone 17, by the change of screen every time I hit the mic button. It's getting more and more frustrating.
Loving the app!
I have been using the standard Apple voice dictation for a long time now and became frustrated at how inaccurate it was, pretty consistently. I heard about Wispr Flow and have been loving the app since.

Amazing voice rec, terrible keyboard
This is an absolute straight upgrade from Apple's built-in dictation. However if you need to manually edit anything with the keyboard, you might pull your hair out. The keyboard is terrible. It doesn't have all the same punctuation as the regular keyboard has. It has an undisableable autocorrect that doesn't warn you before it changes what you write. It constantly de-selects or selects things when I don't want it to. It's basically a nightmare. I have to always manually switch to built-in keyboard before I can edit anything. It's very frustrating and they really need to fix that part of it. Otherwise the voice recognition is wonderful. I rarely have issues with it, but man the keyboard is really, really, really bad.

Great idea but way to expensive and the free tier is basically nothing
I love the concept of this app, and it works really well. The pro version is ridiculously expensive. It mostly makes me amazed at how Apple can mess up their own voice dictation with Siri this bad. Comparing it to this app really shows how good voice dictation can be. The free version is basically nothing it’s around 15 min of use per week. Maybe they could think of making a student tier or a less expensive tier. Around €5 per month would seem reasonable. I also saw people on Reddit saying that in the US it used to cost $6, but charging per month for a keyboard €12 is just criminal.
Doesn't work.
half the time, when I use it on mobile and dictate something (like recent tenses), it gives me blank spaces. It's like it's pressing Enter again and again, and nothing is actually typing.
