Needs some investment. Opening it feels like a portal back to 2011.
OK, but direct deposit entries need more detail
I like this bank and the app is generally easy to use. However, there are two main issues I’ve noticed. 1) Sometimes the log in gets stuck and it just won’t log me in. 2) The transactions—specifically the direct deposit entries—need more detail. I receive direct deposits from two sources and they BOTh say “EXT deposit”. It would be nice if these lines could show the employers names, so I could easily tell the difference between them. It works with other banks; I don’t see why Forbright can’t/doesn’t show the employers names name on the direct deposit lines. This is not only limited to the app, but it happens on the website as well.

been using forbright for about a year for their high yield savings account. everything has been fairly effortless navigating the app, BUT my family does have some trouble depositing funds from certain bank accounts: US Bank syncs up totally fine, but Bank of America does not seem to be recognized by the app, or I’m an idiosyncratic and just don’t know how to deposit when using Bank of America. No other complaints!

When I opened account it was 4% + but now that the interest rate has declined Im not as happy however they are still better than most banks.

Great App and online service but APY @ 3.85% is no longer competitive it should be 4%.
Good bank, it takes 3 days to a week for money to transfer in or out.
They haven’t taken my money and I can almost always log in no problem. Wish it had an option to send it immediately for emergencies for a fee like Apple Pay. I just decided to use it as a long term savings app and will find another bank with immediate transfers. It DOES link to investment accounts. Customer service is good to reach. Overall a good app! Really good for first timers who are looking to help the planet! You don’t have to stalk the app to ensure all of your money is there, and they send emails saying you’ve been paid interest.
