What people like

What they complain about
- Accuracy dropped badly after updates
- Free version hides most data
- App freezes and crashes often
I really like this app
I accidentally added locations unaware that I was doing it wrong. I contacted the developer who immediately replied with instructions that worked. However, I can't figure out how to eliminate notifications from the locations for several of these locations I've enabled without eliminating ALL notifications. So I eliminated all three locations except the one where I am.
Frozen app
I have the paid version of this app and suddenly it is frozen with no way to unfreeze it or update it if required.
Disappointed update
When I first d/l this app it was very accurate as I compared it to the automatic rain gauges have on my property. BUT ever since the update it has yet to be accurate. Now it’s about 1/4” off the mark of accuracy. Very disappointed as the new update.
Frozen?
Have had this app since July, 2026. Seems to be a nice app so I purchased it (year’s subscription), but, since then, I found I have to restore the app frequently. This is before and after reinstalling it. I was having issues with no information showing up in areas of the app that should have registered readings like live radar, soil conditions, soil temperature, rain totals seeming a bit off, etc. Have kept the app updated so it seems unlikely it should be so sporadic as to how it functions. This issue happens whether using my iPhone or iPad to check rain and weather conditions. Would really appreciate it working properly as my main purpose is to help keep a good watering schedule in place for some recent, new planting I’ve done. An intact watering schedule means money saved.
A must for the Gardener
I love this app. The ability to set a specific location helps me determine whether or not I need to water the garden. “It rained while I was sleeping…. check the app” “Did it rain while I was away? ….check the app” AWESOME This app doesn’t evaporate like a rain gauge. WICKED AWESOME
DOESN’T WORK on IPADS
I paid for the app, now I have to delete it every single day and reload it from the app store to work. Epic fail!!!!
I thought it was free
I’ve been using it for a week or two. Now it says “upgrade to see amount “. In other words it’s not free except for an introductory period
Very helpful
As far as I can tell it seems pretty accurate.
Grossly Inaccurate
Not even faintly close to accurate. The free version only gives the past 24 hours.
Consistency poor
Readability is poor. Type to light. Does not hold location, despite constant attempts to reset.
Great app for precipitation review at he lake
No more wondering how much precipitation while away from the lake home
Poorly usable
Very difficult to change locations
Rain error
It has been wrong a couple of times
Booger
Love it
Don’t have a nick
I put in ONE location (my own) msg saying I needed to upgrade. Then it said daily explore limit reached. I hardly did anything and app wants me to upgrade. It’s a no for me. App is almost dysfunctional.
Update for the Bad
Not sure why the timeframes, which were easy to navigate and swipe to updated to difficult to switch to. Why change it from easy and fast to navigate to having to click through every timeframe including current, past and future to get to the one you’d like to view and then you have to click back through the list to get to the beginning instead of just swiping.. Please put it back how it was — otherwise it becomes too cumbersome to bother using.
Actually accurate!
Very happy with specific data unlike other weather apps
Useless
Can barely do anything without paying for pro
Best Rain Tracker and Statistics
I had been trying to find a way to see how much rain had fallen the day or night before. With the drought we have in north central FL and watering restrictions in place I did not want to be out in the early or late evening being chewed up by mosquitoes and didn’t want to be wasting water. This app does just that. At first I just went to the website I really didn’t want another app….but you don’t know what you don’t know! I was frustrated trying to hone in to my exact house everyday and finally gave in and got the app. Saved my address and now I go right to the app to get the info I want. I have had this app for just a week and am very pleased. I am learning the free features at this time but do believe I will soon get rid of my two other weather apps and possibly sign up for some of the paid features. It has been spot on so far and you have nothing to lose. Download the app right from the get go……
False advertisement
Money grab. While the app is great in concept, they don’t tell you it is limited. If you want more then open that wallet. Wish I could rate it -5 Stars but they won’t. DELETE
Go to App
This is my go to app for checking the amount of rain and precipitation my favorite hiking places have received before I get there. The team provides amazing customer service!
Poor
Doesn’t even allow you to use the app before asking you to subscribe, thanks, but no.
Accurate and local
Gives very accurate data for my exact location- not just a repeat of what fell on the airport 20 miles away
