Life changing!!
I have chronic illness and finding motivation is extremely difficult. Since I’ve been using this app, I have been so much more productive, but the best part is the LOVE. All the hosts are so supportive, there’s games, songs and a lot of fun that overall goes on in each session. It’s a place I feel I can really be myself and everyone is respectful and understanding of everyone’s individual limits. I honestly can’t say enough about this app. Thank you to Rox and Rich!
Price Hike
The prices are not going up they are doubling. Never mind “The body doubling app” how about “The price doubling app”. And, surprisingly, because they are UK based, the price in the UK is even higher than anywhere else.
It's an excellent app for people with ADHD.
I'm a 14 year old teenager living with suspected ADHD, and it's awful. Having that support and guidance with cleaning my room is so helpful for the days where I feel like I can't do it. The only issue for me is the subscription. I understand why it's nessecary, but for teenagers who don't have access to the money for a subscription, it's hard. Rather than removing the subscription as a whole, maybe offering a "swap-out" every month so people can swap out their free task? Besides that, it really is a brilliant app and it's extremely helpful. Totally recommend for other ADHD-er's!
Inaccessible for blind user, but great idea… Wish I could use it
I hate writing negative reviews. I almost never do it. Honestly, I rarely write reviews in general, but I’d much rather write positive ones. And frankly, I think this is an amazing app and a really necessary and awesome concept. I’m a mental health counseling of recommended this app to a lot of my clients… But I can’t use it myself. I am blind, and the app is so inaccessible that I can’t even find where to give feedback privately in the app. Honestly, I wish I could just email the developers and send feedback through the app so I wouldn’t have to post this publicly, but the is so accessible I can’t do that. So… I’m hoping very much at the developers will see this and take steps to make their app accessible for blind users like myself. Please test your app with mobile device screen readers like Apple‘s built-in voiceover so that I can use it. If you do that, I will happily change this review to five stars and absolutely gush about it. This is a cry for help, not an attempt to tear this thing down. It’s awesome and it should be better and more accessible. Looking forward to changing this review. I will check in on the app every couple of weeks for a while to see if anything gets better. Looking forward to that.
paywall 💔💔
its a really good app and does work but the main issue i have is that you have to pay to literally use anything outside of the singular free video you pick and the rest you have to pay which is frustrating but i see why its built like that, if you think its a NEED for you in your life i would probably say you will have to pay for the app to be helpful to you in day to day life
I don’t know why this works, but it does!
I am 56 years old and I have tried everything to get me to do the chores on my list. This app is working tremendously for me!
Pay wall :((
I entirely understand the requirement of a subscription to pay the people who work hard on the app and I want them to be paid for what they do. However, as a minor out of work and studying, I can't afford to pay for the subscription. 😞😞 Might I suggest a lower free subscription tier that allows users to join lives and watch videos without payment but watch advertisements as a form of revenue, I’d be happy to watch a couple of minutes worth of ads in the beginning, middle and end if it meant i could use the app freely. Thank you! x
Love the app but…
The app is amazing. The nudges make everything fun and like I’m actually getting a checklist done like a neurotypical person. My only gripe is that the repeat option doesn’t allow for stuff that doesn’t get done weekly. Like changing my water filter or paying bills
Pay wall on every front
Honestly, I was looking forward to this app and I especially wanted to because I like the creators however I’m a little bit frustrated because everything is sitting behind a pay wall I understand that maybe they could not make all the videos accessible or even all the life sessions but I think that maybe five live sessions per day could be for free users as well.
Dosnt work tbh
The primary things you can do was join lives and watch th following videos and those were the inky thing advertised in there vids and BOTH of those thing you need to pay extra for except for 1 video and that’s it HOWEVER there are two other features they don’t tell you about that you ca use whitch is he reminders whitch tbh I prefer over the alarms bc the alarms scare me (hence why I use it as my alarm for waking up) and also rave the clock however there are only 2 race the clocks and that is the kitchen and the bedroom which are the only ones I’ll need but if you would need something more then yeah (I do wish I could change my mind in my kne free vid bc I prefer the clock version so I’m prob not gonna use the other one)
I am so glad I found this app!
Having other people with you, especially the wonderful coaches I’ve had, has really helped me get more things done around the house. The bills are paid, the appointments made, and other to-dos have become tah-dahs. IYKYK. Bravo, Dubbii!
Awful app
This App has been the biggest waste of my time. For a start up app to have so many in app purchases, is just insane. It’s designed to help neurodivergent individuals. All I can say is this app done nothing for my ADHD. It’s just two social media creators making how to videos. There is nothing else, just them. Sure I can watch them on fb/insta or tik tok for free and get more help. You are taking complete advantage of people struggling with their day to day lives, just so you can line your pockets I loved watching you on social media, some of the skits you do would resonate so much with me. This is app is purely to help them both line their pockets. Where is the actual support??? No Chat rooms, no threads, no proper advice. Just two people laughing and joking about adhd etc. it’s funny online, not on an app supposed to help people. Neurodivergent you DO NOT need this app. Purchase CBT for dummies workbook. I promise that will change your mind. I apologise for the long post, I just don’t want anyone else drawn in by the promise of help to be met with locked videos. And a free trial video 🤦🏼♀️
Trial
Was efficient and cut the time took in half although the trial could be longer so I can see how useful it is on more than one thing
Lives not free
I downloaded this app for the live body doubling sessions. I decided to give it a try today and found out that you have to pay for this feature. The rest of the app seems good but it was the lives that I wanted. I can’t pay for this app. Great idea for the app! Disappointed that it wasn’t clearly stated this before getting excited.
Life changer
Being someone who struggles with the simplest of tasks ever since I was roughly about five or six and here I am now 28 never did I think I would find an app that would help me do simple things like laundry do the dishes take a shower or just brushing my teeth. I haven’t used the app long, but it has been enough to know that I will be using this app for the rest of my life. So don’t be afraid to use this app if you struggle.
Warning that it's a subscription
They want you to pay them for work /you're/ the only one actually doing.
Lots of potential
Love the idea of it! My only complaint could be user error 😂 but the pre recorded sessions, I don’t see any way to full screen those, and I find all the stuff around the video on the screen very distracting, like it looks like I haven’t started the video yet, especially if it’s the one that’s muted. It doesn’t feel like body doubling when the video doesn’t take up the whole screen to me. But if there’s a way to full screen please let me know!
Good but wish more things were free
As an ADHD teenager, this is a wonderful concept and an amazing app. I really just wish there were more free doubling videos as someone who does not have a job and who is a teen teenager. I just wish there was an app that I wouldn’t have to pay for.
Awsome
My child did not want to clean until this showed up
Cleaning the lounge
Great step by step. BUT my wife (IMHO) is a “hoarder”. Half (or more) is hers. What do I do to get her cooperation?
Good but…
Absolutely AMAZING app the only thing I would change is everything is too expensive, I need to save up money (though I would also love to support the creators) I just think that you should be able to choose 3 free tasks and live streams for free, though I do understand people need to make money however they can and this is such a genuinely great app. Thanks for reading
Life changing
Someone is real with me like R0xy that I identify with and she's true and honest just an answered prayer this app is
Would love more live sessions
It’s such a good app but I would love if there were more sessions that suited Australian time zones 🩵
Wish there were quiet sessions
I love the podcast and signed up to try Dubbii but unfortunately I find that there’s too much talking for me to be able to concentrate on my tasks. Wish you offered quiet sessions. I can’t justify the price per month without more quiet sessions.
Home is finally clean!
I started using this regularly with the live streams and my home is actually clean most of the time instead of just when I have company. The videos helped at lot but joining the live streams is what makes it easy to maintain. I have more energy every day now and actually sleep better at night because I was productive but still having fun. My life is transformed at 45, I can’t think everyone enough for the love put into Dubbii.
So good!!!
I have Audhd and this is like a life saver, my apartment was a total mess I only had a line where I could walk before they helped me get to cleaning
Video play
It would be nice if the video would play while another app is open. Like youtube does. I use an app connected with my toothbrush I normally watch youtube at the same time. These videos would be better to watch as selecting a YouTube video can make things harder.
Amazing!
I’ve been using this app for over a year and it is beyond amazing! It keeps me focused and motivates me to get things done when I’ve procrastinated forever. Additionally, the live hosts and other dubbers become “friends” you want to hang out with! Such a supportive, non-judgmental community where you can be your authentic ADD self and feel comfortable and welcomed. That’s not how we are usually received other places. It’s refreshing and uplifting.
Really helpful
I have never been so efficient and quick with household tasks and selfcare 💗 Just wish there were more tasks available than 17. Hope Rich and Rox get to film more soon 🙌🏼
Interesting but...
... I downloaded it yesterday and I love the concept. I do not know if it is sustainable, but it helped. The biggest problem I have currently that would decide if I wanted to subscribe. What are the other tasks. I get that you have a free course and this is ok, but I would love to see the other tasks just to see if there is something for the task I have the most troubles with. A list of available tasks in the app description would be enough for now, but ideally you would show them in the app (disabled). The other thing is Laundry is split into multiple steps and this is good, but the description could be a bit better. Something like prepare laundry or so for the first. Maybe with a thumbnail just to make it visually easier to distinguish.
Amazing
I was surprised a what an amazing support this was! I never knew how much I needed it, but I am so glad it is a tool I now have. It is so powerful and positive I never feel stupid for not being able to start something myself.
AMAZING
I could not recommend this app enough
