Great service !
Internet constantly drops on all my devices and they keep adding additional charges
I’m on a locked rate every month yet I get random charges all the time. Most recently an autopay denial fee in which I never registered for that. So $30 because I didn’t register for autopay? I get them to fix my bill and rates when I call but that’s just an annoying thing to have to do for WiFi. Now lately the services doesn’t even work like it should it drops off on all my devices. And to top it off this app doesn’t even work everytime I open it, it just says network error.
Good app but bad design.
As soon as one logs in, all they get to see is Bill pay. Now what about account info, statements etc. This is where the bad design confuses people. Once one clicks on billing information, the bill and payment screen shows up. Use than needs to scroll down to access other information. My gripe is with the company charging exorbitant late charges, over charging and misleading customers. But app ain’t bad.
Missing features
It would be very helpful for a feature that alerted me when my services were down. I had to trouble shoot my WiFi and Router and Coaxial cable to figure out why I couldn’t get online, but there was an Outage I didn’t know about until calling.
Lets you enroll in text notifications
I’m a new customer pending installation, and my only purpose for looking into this app at this time was to see if I could enroll in text messages which I could not do online. I wasn’t hopeful but it actually let me! You just go to Billing information / Notifications (I know it should probably be under Your Account or Profile instead..) I agree with other reviewers that the UI / UX design of this app can improve a lot, but just wanted to mention that it does let users plug in your phone number so you can receive text messages about the status of your appointment, etc :) We look forward to finding this app improve soon!!

Idiocy
We have had our account for years. I’ve always paid our bills yesterday we paid our bill and ONE day later I download the astound broadband program and I can’t get to the next page because we owe $.10. This is ridiculous - the site is asking me for payment methods and blocking me from going any further until i pay TEN cents. I have an account - bil me there! This is so stupid it’s not funny - your web people are stupid fools.I’ll give you two stars because you have humans to talk on the phone but that still doesn’t solve my problem which is in the Page design. I will not proceed further in using the app, and I will not pay the $.10.This is not only stupid, but it’s down, right rude.

nothing but a scam
i just got the $45 1 gig plan for life with free installation .also adding a phone for $5 a month.it was installed today. my internet speed is 518 mbps. they also are charging $90. basically they charge you twice the amount for half the speed you paid for. i told them if my bill is more than what is listed that i will immediately cancel my account . looks like i will cancel. i can’t stand companies that lie. i manage a service company and we are straight forward. we follow through on what we say. im probably gonna go back to att&t they promise $55 and that’s exactly what my bill was every single month. i can understand having some fees but $40 extra is ludicrous.
Statements?
I am amazed the statements are pulled up as PDFs, however you cannot download them? In 2024 this seems so normal and easy to do in other utility and bill related apps.
Just stay away
My service was going in and out my bill kept rising randomly every other month. I had them replace the line and it still was always going down. I got a new service that is more reliable and when I called to cancel Astound it took me over 10 minutes of saying no to deals, they kept trying to give me money off. Then the rep hung on the line because they didn’t want a bad review. They also told me it was impossible to get any type of evidence or receipt that I canceled my service.
Not working
The app is not working. After logging in, it shows a white box with the logo on top and a purple box on the bottom. There is no content. I am worried that an internet provider couldn’t get the basic technology right.
Double charging and stealing money!!!!!
Woke up this morning to find out I’ve been billed twice! With a late fee!!!! Not late as I am on auto pay and always have been. The rep I spoke to via live chat tried to lie and said I didn’t pay last month nor this month. Had to pull up my bank statement then their tone quickly changed to “we apologize this is a system error” riggghtttt so you were going to try and gaslight me into believing I didn’t pay??? I wonder how many people you all take advantage of that don’t keep up with their finances!!! I promise you don’t want to hear from my lawyer
Horrible company
I read a few comments about customers bills being inconsistent and prices raised with no explanation, it’s all true. From the beginning I’ve been having issues with billing with this company. I signed up for autopay 2 months ago to avoid late fees and make sure my bills were paid on time. Today I get an invoice for $155 I talked to an agent she said it’s because my card expired meanwhile the card I have on file does not expire until next year and I’ve had no issues making purchases with it many other places. No email no notice that my payments have not been fulfilled just a whopping 155 invoice 2 months later. My rate is $50 per month and yet every charge to my account for the last 4 months has gone significantly over. This company is a scam period. All the reviews are 100% truthful I’ve been experiencing every awful thing that has been previously posted.

The app shows nothing on the main page and has been like this for about two years. You can’t access anything regarding your account or your billing.
App doesn’t load or work at all
New customer or well I hope, but first day download, can’t sign in or even see what the app does, if the website or app doesn’t load, I’m not sure how to pay a bill when I’m actually charged

Horrible company since they became astound. When they were rcn they were better. Since they became astound it’s been shoddy equipment a billing dept that can never seem to get their act together and the apps and website do not sync. And service keeps getting slower and harder to load pages but they sure do keep jacking up the prices. Unless your a new customer of course then u get the lower prices and they roll out the red carpet they just don’t want to keep u as a loyal pay every mo th. Customer. They make no efforts to keep you.
