The Best Mystery Game Ever!!!
I pre-ordered it when I heard it was coming out and I’ve enjoyed every part of it since it came out. The gameplay is easy to understand and most of the time I’ve figured out who the killer is, what they used, and where it all went down. Every location was perfect and all the weapons fit with each location like a glove.

Game takes up to much data
This version of clue is very nice, i think it’s very good, but a major issue after I downloaded was extreme lag, this became a worse issue over time until I had to offload the app. Will you please consider optimizing and removing unnecessary data please?
Drives me mad!
In the Ultimate version of the game when you are asked for a card it does not show which card! This is dumb. If i am asked to show a card, shouldn’t i know what’s being asked? The person asking for a card obviously does not have it as they would not be asking if i had the card when they have it. This means i could out an x in that field and eliminate that card, but no. The game does not show you what i am being asked. Makes no sense. In a fast paced ultimate version this can make difference between winning and losing. Additionally, the game no longer works on the playstation or over network. Sure sounds like the latest release messed things up.
Honest review
This game is fun but it would be better if your running scores were listed like in the first version of Clue. What’s the point of earning winning scores when they aren’t tracked or used after each game? No incentive to keeping playing to try and get highest scores? Kinda boring with no points competition.

I love CLUE. It reminds me of the Clue Classic board game that I had used to play when I was a kid.
It’s Not Bad But Gets Old Quick
Essentially, the game will force you to escalate the difficulty level by gradually becoming mind-numbingly easy the more you play, but once you get to hard, buckle up. Hard level playing against AI is you getting screwed over and over again. If you play with the clue cards, your cards will get called within the first four turns, while AI characters will go the entire game revealing nothing. AI will somehow know the room without anyone having ever even been in the room (and with multiple rooms having never been entered). I’ve played games where the AI character solved the murder in the second round having only ever entered one room and the solution involved a character, weapon, and room that had not even been used yet. Hard should be actually challenging, not just AI having impossible knowledge and winning the game in under five minutes. Save your money and time.
Characters
I wish the characters were animated instead of just being these little ponds and crashing into walls. It looks stupid.
Can no longer play online
My fiancé and I have been playing this game for the last year and a half online together. We’ve done iPad to iPad, we’ve done iPhone to iPad, we’ve done PC to iPhone, we’ve done PC to Nintendo switch and it’s worked this whole time. we didn’t play for about a month or two and decided to play and the online is no longer working and it was one of our favorite games to play together And now it doesn’t work. there’s nothing online about why it doesn’t work. We’ve deleted the game reinstalled it checked for updates tried playing on same devices different devices and nothing works anymore.

Game freezes
I do love this game and have invested I just don’t like when it freezes during gameplay or at the end. This makes it hard when it comes to hitting goals.
4.99 is only access
Misleading. Once you pay 4.99, you only get 1 board. All other boards are $12-39 per board.
Love the Game, Hate the New Update
I really enjoy playing this game, especially the Ultimate Detective mode, but there was a small change made to the game in the new update that I can't stand. When another player asks you a key question about a card you don't have it doesn't tell you what the card is! It just says "You don't have that card, press continue". When a player asks a key question I like to mark that they don't have the card they are asking about, it's one of the many strategies I use to give me an edge in the game. I find the game so fun and engaging precisely because there are so many ways to eliminate player/ card combinations that are not immediately obvious, so not having this key piece of information is really frustrating. If you fix this one thing I will change my review to 5 stars.

Fun but some issues
I love clue and this is a good version of it overall but I wanted to flag some issues. - there is a glitch making it so there is no sound or music on my iPhone 16 - in ultimate detective mode, if someone uses their key to ask you for a card that you don’t have, it does not show you what card they are requesting - the AI could be smarter in hard mode. It makes fairly basic choices, like I don’t think it suggests rooms it has in order to deduce other people’s cards (at least in ultimate detective mode). It will also repeatedly make suggestions with cards that it knows others have, wasting a turn - I think the bundles are vastly over priced, and more maps should’ve been included in the base game
Love!!! BUT I have a gripe
This updated version of the game is great. But not having a more extensive selection of buyable characters is a massive shame. Especially the classic version characters

Old Clue is better
The old game has better interactions and is easier to read your clue sheet. Can’t play in portrait mode to fix the latter issue. Do yourself a favor and get the older version.
Great game, but I can’t help but notice something…
I love this game and how it’s set up, but I can’t help but notice that, at least on my game, that the black male character (Mr. Plum) is the killer in about 1/2 of the games while the other characters may share the other half. This happens so often that I have started guessing him first to help me speed up many of my games.
Updates?
I’ve been waiting for a new crime collection item. Last update I had to pay for the characters and that was months ago. What was the point in buying the pack if there are never any new boards?
Best game ever
I love this game so fun and good I sometimes get the murderer sometimes I don't, but this is the best game I've ever played.
Do NOT buy the upgrade package!
For over 2 years, the app developers have been promising within a month to deliver on the remaining scenes and suspects in the expanded package. They charged $69 and haven’t refunded anything. The two for pay scenes aren’t as well done as the freebie Clue game by the same people (the one where Scarlett is a blonde). The Italian and Egyptian versions in that game have great graphics and sound. This is a pale and expensive imitation.
Great game
Great game, however the most recent update changed the clue sheet and it is now very visually distracting and hard to look at with all the crosses in the corners instead of smooth continuous grid. It would be great if there is an option to change this back.
What the heck is Cluedo?
Game works fine, but it opens as “Cluedo” and just really annoys me.

I want my money back!
It has been over a year since you’ve released anything new for the deluxe package I purchased! The last “new” content was just characters from your previous version of the game AND they had to be PURCHASED SEPARATELY! You promised SEVEN additional crime scenes WITH a new set of characters for each one. Clearly you’re never going to deliver on what I purchased so I want my MONEY BACK!
Fun to play, but found a bug
Twice now the app has moved me from one part of the board to another. Last time I was ready to solve and was 2 steps from the Library, but next turn I was across the board 30 steps from it and couldn't access a room on next roll.

I hate this new update. I prefer the old way where I didn’t have to zoom in to make my selections on the notepad. Not only does it slow the game down but it is glitchy and freezes when scrolling. Having to scroll to see all selections makes me hate playing my favorite game. App support says this was the original game play and playing without the zoom wasn’t meant to be permanent but that zoom play only makes sense as an option play for those with chubby fingers or those who can’t see too well. For the rest of us, bring back the non zoom play function.

This used to be my favorite game. I REALLY HATE the latest update. Especially hate that they took away the ability to disable auto-zoom when making edits on the notepad. Very very annoying to have to scroll to see the whole notepad now!
Update schedule too slow
I really enjoy this game and have rated it before as 5stars, but it has lost a star imo. We haven’t had a new crime scene in 7 months! The past 3 updates has been the same- 2016 Suspect Pack. Is there an update roadmap anywhere?
The missingtool
Marmalade is finally restoring the Clue Sheet editing tool. Took ling enough! But we’ll be glad to have the game working again.
Are they adding new maps?
I LOVE the game and want to play more of it, but it’s been months since they’ve added a new map and I’m starting to wonder if they ever will?
THIS IS NOT CLUE
Fix the rules to be like the original game, for example: you are not allowed to guess the same room two turns in a row, yet in this game you can. It affects strategy and takes the challenge out of the game. Fix the rules.
Few things
Game is great just needs a few things. Being able to video chat while playing would be great. Also right now trying to play with friends is not working. Enter game code and says game does not exist. However we are on FaceTime as a group and is telling us all the same thing.

I’m don’t sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when ever I’m playing either the “Black Adder Resort “, “Whispering Pines” or “Polar Reach Station “ the water is black and you can’t see the details of the water moving.
They took away Scarlett!!!!
I’m so upset I always play as Scarlett because I look just like her! I love her!!!! They replaced her with a whole new character!!!!!! Bring back Scarlett!!!! There are no blonde women in the character selection now!!! If you want more diversity ADD MORE DONT REPLACE I’m so upset I want my five dollars back
