This app is complete garbage. I get better information from Chat GPT. The Oeni app does not even know many of my wines. Don’t buy it!

No support
I have been using this app for two years without issue and it was perfect my use, especially the cellar mapping. Recently the entire inventory changed without reason. Bottles came off the shelves and other bottles, that had already been removed because they were consumed, returned to the cellar. My first request for support was answered by AI which I replied to. The second was clarifying my account. I have not heard back since. I don’t want to correct the inventory because the issue may return and there is no support so I have cancelled my subscription. Good luck
More free features needed
I use sever apps like Vivino, anche based on other apps this should have a more free features to be competitive. Still it can make a lot of money.

Useless Free Trial
None of the features are available on free download, you have to sign-up and give up your credit info to really see if its worth using. I'm happy to pay for useful tools, just unwilling to give up personal info (credit info, wines in my cellar) to test drive. Hard pass!

Incomplet et peu d évolutions
Conseils mets et vin trop larges pas ciblé, des lacunes dans la navigation, pas d export csv, les prix disparaissent de l historique quand plus de quantité sur un vin , pas d évolutions sur les différents buts soulevés, point fort l acquisition des bouteilles

Truly a terrible app. Could not come close to identifying 4 of 5 bottles of wine from a picture. All found in seconds on wine searcher and vivino. A waste of time

O app é muito bom, porém ainda faltam muitos rótulos e principalmente ganhar bagagem nas avaliações até mesmo por ser recente em comparação ao Vivino. É necessário manter os dois, um para o controle e outro para consulta. Na versão paga acho que devia ter pelo menos duas opções: uma mais barata para quem tem adega de até 100 garrafas, e outra ilimitada, com os valores atuais ! Por enquanto, sigo na versão free.
Just ok
Ok but with flaws. Looks good and decent amount of info on vintage and drinking windows. However, out of the 500 or so wines I downloaded via a spreadsheet, only about half actually were found by the app and could be verified; the rest need to be manually input (which is unlikely to happen). It took awhile to convert the spreadsheet I use to the format required by the app so it’s disappointing that so much still needs to be manually input. I haven’t tried scanning a bottle to see how much of its information is found so I can’t comment on that. There is also far less info in the app than in my spreadsheet. For example, grape varieties are not always listed; same with countries. There is a way to find some of that but it’s deeper in the app menu I think. Disappointed with the food pairing suggestions, too. So far, they “narrowed it down” to between 150 and 250 of my wines for any food I picked so it’s pretty much useless. I guess that if you don’t have a lot of wine and/or you haven’t tracked your collection until now, this app might be more useful to you.

When OENO crashed I was devastated, but Oeni is so much better with a very good UX and nice graphics. I feel I’m back in control of my own cellar and can strongly recommend it!
Limited inventory
Tried 2 different bottles (Kosta Browne and Flowers). Both didn’t have it in inventory - not worth my time.
I like it but…
So someone like me who just 6-12 bottles and wants to see the drinking window, it’s a bit expensive.
Good tracker with pain
This app seems to have what I need - multiple cellars and possibility to move bottles around, but it is a pain to use: every bottle I scan, I have to add manually as it is not found. Vivino can always find it, but that app has a terrible bottle management. I am still looking for a good app.

I’ve been using this app for the last 2 months and its amazing letting me organize my bottles of wines and gives great recommendations for food to eat with each of my wines
Can’t add bottles not recognized
Not worth the subscription fee. Didn’t recognize some of my bottles and the function to add unrecognized bottles doesn’t work.

Great conceptual idea, but the execution leaves much to be desired. This app can be explained as follows: I give you a plethora of info and get none in the exchange. As it stands, unless one forfeits subscription money, you offer the opportunity to volunteer market (and personal) information, and nothing is gained in return. Unless you expand your offering in order to reciprocate something beyond being what amounts to an inventory sheet (what a basic excel sheet would do) with some fancy graphics, your efforts stand as a subpar app when compared to your competitors. One man’s opinion.
Prices???
The cellar function is great. The app might recognize the winery but can’t read the year? Also, rarely suggests a price/value. Big miss on providing accurate pricing.

Need more California Wines
The UI is great, but doesn’t have most of my wines in the system. Yes, you can add them yourself but then you’re missing most of the useful information.
Good but…..could be better
I like this App because it is pretty simple to use and captures well the different wine-related information. Also, the 3D feature of the paid version is also very helpful. However, what is not acceptable is the fact that the App does not provide any description of the grape varieties on each wine’s profile. The user will need to memorize and remember what varieties each wine consists of. For example you have a red blend, the App will show the label and the winery but it will not show the exact variety composition of the blend. This is absurd as the whole point of these Apps is certainly to manage and group you cellar (which is satisfied by the App) BUT ALSO to be able to grab the right wine that you are looking for based on the variety/varieties. The lack of this feature kind of pushes me to install other, more complete Apps…Nevertheless, I would say this is a 3-star App, yet with A LOT of room for improvement.
Best new app for cellar management
I’ve been looking for a new cellar management app for a while and was so happy to discover Oeni. It’s the perfect balance of new features and a sleek interface with core functionality that I need. Highly recommend!

I have created CSV in exactly the format outlined using the outlined headers and can’t get it to import.

Zero hits on my bottles
Kind of useless, actually. I downloaded and tested on five high-end California Reds, and didn’t get a hit on any of them. User interface is not clear, there’s no direction about exactly what to put in to the various fields to get a hit. You should be able to type in the vintage, select a grape, enter a name, although that field does exist, and have a designated field for a winery. The database should be able to hit on partial field entries. The database seems very heavily skewed towards European wines, and it doesn’t appear that California wines have been given much research attention by this company.

Missing too many wines
2008 Krug doesn’t pull up, Colgin from Napa, seriously deficient. Too bad because it looks like a sexy app but without the wines it’s like a Ferrari with no engine underneath.

Don’t waste you’re time
Very disappointed, especially since it was expensive. It couldn't find what I tried, and there were multiple instances of the same wine in the list of available wines. There is no quality control, and I had to enter the prices myself. I would have expected this to be automatic.
Most features are behind paywall
You can play with the basic version for free and without creating an account/email login (just press ‘skip’ in those pages), to see if you like the app. The value and drinking window info, etc. are only available with a subscription. FYI: The lapetitecave.net review they reference, where they are listed as the best wine cellar app, they are partners with them and they didn’t include CellarTracker in the review.
Finally, a great wine App!!
I’ve been looking for a wine app for years to track my wines. During the 30 day trial period, I downloaded 683 of my wines, very happy with the results! I especially like the ability of pricing, aging of your wines, tracking of where the wine is located in the cellar, and the ability to add personal notes and also the notes from the winery for that particular vintage. They respond back to recommendations, and are continually striving to make the app better. Loving this app! Please continue to improve!

Great for French Wine
I have an extensive collection of Cabernets French and California wines primarily. This system recognizes all my French wines and I have had to manually enter ALL of my California Cabernets. So it’s a nice app but it’s missing a DB of wines from California and all values are shown in Euros, and does not seem to toggle between Euros and USD. I feel this needs work to be viable as I will be adding California wines for quite a while…less than desirable.
