Best bank ever!
Have everything all in one very helpful and very personal they reach out and really help with all my money and helping me build credit cover me if I have an emergency and money is tight. Just can’t thank these guys enough wish I could do something to show them my gratitude!

Bill Pay - Can’t see payee details
Why can’t I see the address info of the payees I’m paying in bill pay? It’s nice it finds something and seems to confirm with zip code, but I don’t feel confident that a smaller local company is going to the right place. I don’t need to have the ability to change anything, simply show me a street address. Finances are about how we feel as much as functionality. Not only so I don’t pay my bills late but so that I don’t have to fight to get my money back when it goes to the wrong place and inevitably I’ll be the one stuck doing that, even if the bill pay software was confident enough to assume I don’t need to see it.

the online banking app is straight garbage. meritrust credit union is awful to pay loans for. APP SUCKS.
App improvements
App isn’t very smooth. Difficult to pay a cc have to do external transfer and wait days then go back in to pay. Would be better to be Apple to just pay the bill.
Loan payments
I’m regretting switching my loan payment over to this credit union. They’ve serviced it well. The problem is how tough they make it to simply make a payment. They require the customer have a savings account and that they make the payments from it. So there’s this huge hassle every month to make an external transfer into this account (which takes at least a day or two to process) before being able to then use that money to pay the loan payment. I’d simply like to pay my loan directly and instantly.
Adequately Staffed
Never have to wait for service. I don’t feel rushed when I am working with a customer service representative.

It’s like you need to be tapped into a nasa satellite to even load the app
Fraud prevention is a joke
I had an absurd charge for online tickets over 200$ worth in my 21 years of banking I have never bought any tickets, I thought that would be a red flag for the so called fraud prevention but no they didn’t suspect a thing but a antique mall charge of less than 100$ throws a red flag. No idea as to what they would consider a red flag fraudulent charge then I’m baffled 😕 luckily they didn’t have access to any of my other accounts because holiday closures leave you with no options besides two cancel your card or lock it at that point you don’t have access to that your money which is very inconvenient when you don’t have access to critical options in your account only available to you in person at a branch that is closed. luckily I had cash to eat dinner and do things. I thought I was going to be able to do with my card/account. Sadly other people aren’t so lucky sometimes and shouldn’t have to suffer because of these major inconveniences. Otherwise, I am happy with my banking experience over the years I started with Boeing credit union and I have stayed with Meritrust since then.
Bug Problems
Can’t type any numbers for bill pay or transfers, the keyboard won’t pop up. Just a bug they need fixed.
Payment.
Very hard to just make a loan payment. Having to transfer to an account and then pay your payment from that is absurd.
App won’t work
This app is garbage. No matter how many times I try, I can never log into it.
Bugs
I’ve had the same phone the whole time I’ve been at meritrust. Always used this same phone to log in. Now all of a sudden, every time I get on the app of this phone, it makes me re-log in every time because it’s a “different” or “un trusted” device. That is so annoying
Needs a widget
I miss the old app that had the “quick view” widget for balances.

Confusing
I’ve had a couple auto loan apps and this one is by far the most not self explanatory app when it comes to transferring money into the account and around the account. Very frustrating app to work with and set up auto payments 🙅
From good to meh
The website and app change was a real downgrade and I nearly switched banks over it. Plaid functionality FINALLY returned just before I’d had enough. Still, the app and desktop site have the same limited functionality and uninspired aesthetic. The less I have to deal with it, the better.
Awful app.
Meritrust used to have the best app of all the financial institutions I use. Then they upgraded and now it’s awful. Very unintuitive.

My only complaint with Meritrust is when I call the main number I never get an answer and when I put my name on the callback list, they never called me back which means I have to go to my branch office to get whatever I need done.
Pointless
I’ve been banking with them for years add paystub after paystub and they won’t give me a credit card so I can build my credit so the worst bank ever
Useless
This application barely works as it freezes more than it works. Interface is not as friendly as the previous version. Don’t even get me started with the desktop version because it’s the exact same thing as the app. One does not need to log back in every time you go back a page.
Where is account information?
I’m not 100% sold on this new app. Finding my full account information used to be so simple. Now it’s buried and so obscure I can’t even find it. By design or just an oversight???
Better
Recent changes have improved the performance of the app. I am happier with it now.
Trash
The app crashes over and over, never loads or pulls up, constantly has errors, and over half the time you can’t even get passed the login screen. Considering switching banks just based on how bad this app runs and inaccessibilities of my account through the app.
Not as good as old app
Half the time it wont let you log into the app. Never had these issues with the old one. Seems to have more features but if you cant log in…. Kind of pointless

I’ve been a member of this credit union for over 2 decades and never crossed my mind to leave it. Recently I had an issue with my Roth account Jarrett and Kristen helped me with. They are both exceptional people to work with. I had a miss understanding on the process of funds from Morning Star. Still don’t agree mailing paperwork to process in today’s world with Fax etc. Stock market changes daily and 10 days is to long to close an account. That’s management above them. Thank you Jarrett and Kristen for being so professional and patient with me. Have a great day everyone.
Don’t trust
I paid off a $15,000+ auto loan in March 2026 and come to find out they put my money into a savings account. I didn’t even know existed. I get a text today saying that I am past due on my payment. Once I made the payment, apparently they called me one time and left a message which I did not see. But they only called me once. So over a 20 day period interest accumulated. Without my knowledge and I had to pay another $102 because they couldn’t do their job and call me back. I will never trust this company with my money again and I hope you do the same.
If It Ain’t Broke
I use my Ipad 99% to check my accounts. Now I cannot see what I need to see because screen will NOT reformat t0 landscape. Once this gets fixed then you will have a descent app. I have other financial accounts and EVERY ONE of them I can view in landscape mode on my IPad. Please fix this.
Difficult to Use
It's backwards and not user friendly. Still have to call in for information that should be able to access in the app. Not able to make payments ahead.
