Ad makes lots of noise!
I like this game a lot but when begin to play in the app there is an advertisement that has really loud music!! I have tried turning it off in settings with no success. If I were to play Waffle on an airplane people would not be happy because it is so loud! I may have to abandon Waffle. I do not pay for apps. This is why I gave it 2 stars rather than 5.

Your answer to clue “half a century or two score and ten” should be fifty, but the ‘I’ doesn’t appear in available letters, so how do you expect anyone to get the answer correct
The best game app
This has not only the best game but multiple games with NEVER an ad. You could play games all day! And it’s fun as well as challenging!
Horrible
This was a fun game but they now autoplay loud ads randomly as you play which is both startling and startlingly obnoxious. If you have AirPods in, expect to get your ears blown out and if you try to play while your partner is sleeping expect to wake them up. It’s a bummer, but along with everyone else, I will be deleting the app.
Needs the number waffle
Great app, and super fun daily challenge. The only thing missing is the number waffle, then it would be a 5/5!

Played for a years without seeing ads and given money a few times but recently started getting ads despite this. Disappointing.

I love that you can go to the archives and play previous games. It really helps new players to get a feel for the game and the type of words used.

Loved this game but then out of the blue, an ad with loud music starts blaring. Nope. I’m done.

Waffle Royale doesn’t show up in my App. Why can I only play it when using a browser?
Stats lost twice
I had a great streak going and twice in a week the updates wiped them out, including the one that was supposed to fix the issues caused by the first update. Makes me hesitant to start playing again. Their dev team must be overwhelmed because I sent in a support request and haven't heard anything.

You do realize that last update deleted my app history 😩 I had completed 1200 plus Waffles, all history gone…

I lost all progress
I’ve been playing the waffle for roughly the past 3 or 3.5 years. It updated yesterday and now all of my progress is gone. I had a 50% five star rating on the overall puzzles and I had completed all of the puzzles. I’m disappointed. Do better.
Archive
The only problem is the inability to sort the archive newest to oldest. It takes forever to get to the latest puzzles that I missed!

Only two Waffle types
I was hoping the app would include all of the Waffle Word games that I play in my browser, but it has just the original and the deluxe. Waffle Royale is nowhere to be found. Why would it not be included?
Fixed
Last update erased all of my archive stars, but I’m glad to see they have resolved the issue, and I’m back to playing again. Game is easy and fun. A lot of word repeats, but that’s to be expected. Still fun for a quick play.
Lost day
I’ve been playing this game for several months. As of today, my data is gone.
ONLY A DAILY GAME
Deduct one star because I have to wait 24 hours before I can play it again. I’ve finished all of 2023 games. Have to scroll forever to find one I haven’t played. Fortunately I can re-open a day and it resets the letters.

Love it
Excellent game. A “random waffle” button would be great or the ability to sort the archive by unfinished puzzles or by stars earned (in case you want to try for 5-stars on a previously 1-star waffle). As it is, you have to manually scroll through hundreds of archived waffles.

Addicting!
I love this game, so much that I’ve done every single one lol. Took off one star because the website will let you sort the Daily archive by number and access the Deluxe archive (if you watch an ad) but this app won’t.

Installs, but does not work.
I play on my desktop computer, and the game itself is lovely. This installs, but only displays the title, and the sandwich menu. The menu does nothing. Same experience in Safari. As I said, works great on desktop computer.
Obsessed with this game!
I just found this game last night and I can’t stop playing it. 😁 I love that there are archived games to play. I’ve gone through a month’s worth in less than a day! The only thing that would make it better is if the orange tiled turned white when you move them “out” of the word they are in. Sometimes when you swap letter tiles an orange tile will end up in a word it is not really in. It can be a little confusing to try and remember which row or column the orange tile came from. Does that make sense? Otherwise I LOVE your game! I’ve had to do a couple of do overs, but I’ve also gotten a few bingos (5 swaps left.) Challenging but fun game - well done!
