Love this game
Every morning
I do my crosswords every morning with my tea or coffee. Love it when there is a new category to work on! The new update has bugs and has diminished my enjoyment so that I am thinking of finding a new crossword game. The old game maneuverability was clunky, but much better than now.
Please restore previous version
This version is harder to play. The crossword is smaller. There are no colors. Please go back to the previous version.

Error marks hard to see
I’m 82 and enjoying this app until you changed format. My main objection is that the red cross line for errors needs to be more bold or a vivid color. I should think that this may be an easy fix. Thank you

Back to the prvious format which I loved! I enjoy immensely using this game. It's at the right level: challenging but not impossible. A lot of fun.

This app was presented as free …..it is NOT. I was billed almost 50.00 for it and I want my money back.

Can't play anymore
Loved playing the mini game on a daily basis but they recently changed it so you have to pay to even play that. No more free play. Too had.
Enjoyably easy
I play this every morning with my coffee. Sometimes there are lots of ridiculously easy words but then sometimes it’s more difficult and I learn new words. It’s a crossword I can do in minutes since I’m not a fan of those that take hours. All in all it’s a good game for me.
Back to normal. Thank you!
The latest revision putting the layout back is much better. Thanks for actually listening to our input. Once again my favorite puzzle game to play.
Not free
Not enough new crosswords, froze up, $45 is ridiculous for an ad-free crossword. Recycles too many things in each puzzle.

Stupid trivia
Too many clues about actors.
Just Right
Puzzles are easy enough but not too easy and not as ridiculously hard as the NYT crossword. I enjoy doing the daily and the mini every day.
First puzzle has an error
I am looking for puzzles to challenge my brain. The fact that the first puzzle I tried had a major error..? Not encouraging. I cancelled my free trial immediately. “Country formerly known as Thailand” (smh)
Good balance between hard and easy clues
Lots of difficult clues interspersed with easiER clues that intersect the harder ones so that I can get a letter or two to help with solving the hard ones that almost have me stumped!

Crossword Subscription!?
It's not free, it is a paid subscription to play cross words. If I'm going to pay for them I'd rather just buy a large book of them instead of getting an app. Pretty disappointing.

This is a cool app. The puzzles are fun and a great balance of challenge and impossible to solve. Lots of fun
Buy a puzzle book instead
The app itself works well and looks the part. But the crosswords are pretty rubbish. Lots of repeated answers, lots of ‘abbreviated’ answers - most of which are just half the word rather than useful abbreviations, some of which are not abbreviations at all but acronyms - and there are mistakes in some of the clues. Fine to pass a bit of time but not worth spending any money on.

I tried - very disappointing
I downloaded this hoping for a free crossword experience. I was even planning on paying the yearly sub if I liked it. I wanted to try the free ones to gauge how the difficulty and enjoyment level were. The free puzzles were great, but spending time searching for the ones that were free was a pain. Only once you click on it does it say ‘if you at you can do this one.’ Sell it as a paid for crossword - because you don’t make it easy to play any of the free ones. I’ll be taking my business to a more honest developer.

Don’t bother, NOT FREE!
If you, like me, searched for ‘free’, don’t bother this shady app…there’s nothing free about it. Can’t do a single crossword without subscribing.
Fun way to pass time
I enjoy doing the various puzzles. The difficulty level varies quite a bit. I took off a star because I find there are too many clues related to songs or little-known films. I prefer clues that test your vocabulary or that make you think of a different approach to a definition.
