Great App, but
I have played this app everyday for a long time and have really enjoyed it until recently. A good deal of the time now when I open the app, it will tell me my last puzzle is “almost done”. I have to go in and retype one letter with the same letter to clear it. It then forces an ad on me to get back to the main page. Quite annoying.

I have been doing these puzzles for many enjoyable years. Always consistent, just enough to challenge me yet not overwhelming.

I like the puzzles BUT, I used to get 4 “tickets” for 1 30 second ad. Now it’s 3 for 2 60 ads. I finish a puzzle and it’ll say “almost finished”except it is finished. They will also repeat daily puzzles.

Sound Problem
Good app, however, I am unable to mute the typing sound. I have the entire system volume off on my iPad and I still can’t mute the clicking noise.
No app support + offensive clue answers
I've enjoyed this app for a few years now but every once in a while a questionable answer comes up for a clue. Today, Aug 21st, the clue was boneheads with the answer - spastics. This is a grossly offensive use of the word spastic and inaccurate in every way other than as an offensive slang. You wouldn't use a racially offensive term as an answer (I hope) so why is an offensive disability term acceptable? When I try to contact app support through the in-game contact the send button doesn't work, only the cancel button. In the app store here the app support button only links to an add link to their new game, as with the developer website link. I know this is a free app with optional purchases, but seeing as advertisers pay to show us their terrible ads, and as a hopefully decent group of human beings behind the app, you can do better. As I don't expect a response it’s likely I'll be deleting this app. Disappointing.
Good to have tickets back
I really miss the opportunity to get tickets, because some times I would miss days, and I couldn’t get the missed days without paying. I don’t mind watching videos for free tickets. Please bring that option back.

Sexually explicit ads
I’ve been using this app for years. The ads every time I have to put my phone down are a bit much. But I understand the developers have to pay the bills. But now, the ads are getting sexually explicit. My wife is yelling at me because she happened to glance over just as an ad popped up with a young girl spreading her legs. WTH???

Latest update garbage
Before the last update I would have given you 5 stars. Since the last update, it hangs when it tries to load an ad and periodically crashes while trying. Please fix it!
Ok, some flaws
Some minor flaws, after deleting, sometimes get wrong letters typing, will get an ‘s’ when i clearly typed a ‘k’. Too many times, miss low & have to deal with advertising. Too much advertising pop ups

I’ve been using this app for a long time, and it’s fun to do. Sometimes I find the clues a bit odd, but mostly it’s very enjoyable.
Distracting ads
I loved this puzzle but I now find it unplayable owing to the introduction of distracting moving ads, particularly the jigsaw one.
“Crosswords” Review
The puzzles are satisfying for the ‘grade’ chosen and provide sufficient challenge to make them reasonable tests.

Good games. I love crosswords. But it should skip over letters that have already been inserted. It's frustrating either re typing the whole word. Or having to touch each box to type a letter in.

I love this app, however I find this version frustrating. Why can't the letters lock in the squares if the answer is Correct? The last version jumped over the correct letters this one doesn't. I get so annoyed when I have chosen to reveal the answer only to find that I had them right in the first place. Can you please fix this?

Good daily puzzles
Decent enough puzzle app, free daily puzzles are of a good standard. Mostly American spelling. Would like to see a description of the paid-for puzzles: straight or cryptic? Easy or hard? The navigation is very cranky: it's not clear whether the next letter will be across or down and selecting a clue then typing overwrites letters, even when the preference to skip to blank spaces is set. Could definitely use an update here.
