Good Crossword App but needs new puzzles
I have enjoyed doing the crosswords in this app but once completed, there is no option to buy more, even after many years of the app being available. It would also be nice to have them segregated into levels of difficulty to choose depending on your level of attention or alertness.
New Phone madness
Got new phone, seems like the app had forgot I purchased the pack and I have lost the lot ! Did not know there was a back up feature in existence ! Thought my purchase would be linked to Apple ID ! Ah well , lesson to others is backup

Mostly fairly easy to solve but some more difficult. It would be good if correct tiles in the grid were protected from overwriting.

Opened it to indecipherable “pack” page. No idea what to do with it so immediately deleted. Zero for usability and intuitive UX.

So far I am enjoying the free ones, but some of the ones I have finished don’t mark themselves as done. I have triple checked them and I can’t see why.

The crosswords would be fine if they didn't jump to other words randomly and change letters on the crossword. It frustrated me enough to delete the game.
Good fun
Finding this increasingly difficult to ‘get’ and tune in to the clues. Either me (possible) or the tenuous clues themselves (maybe). Not enjoying it as much as I used to and find myself having to cheat more in order to finish - ever hopeful the next one will be more do-able. Can’t see me continuing this after I’ve finished this batch. Sadly

Good interface, some useful features such as check answers etc. Lacks cryptic puzzles so not the most challenging. Great for passing the time on a flight.
Spelling mistakes!!!
There are spelling mistakes… in a crossword puzzle!!! It’s “arrivederci” you beasts, not “arriverderci”

This is a good app which has kept me busy for quite some time. My only gripe is that it is written for an American audience, so some words are completely unknown .

Not the greatest app could be easier to use
Ok for botanists and sailors
At best this is a middling app .. the UI is mess, and appears to be designed to make typing as hard as possible. The clues are either easy or difficult because the definitions are more or less incorrect, and it’s clear that the setter is a keen botanist and sailor as you need to know the type of every boat and cereal ever made or discovered.

Really enjoy having this on my phone for those times when I want something relaxing. It works really well
Don’t pay
This game has decent crossword puzzles and a great format, but I hate how you have to pay to get any more puzzles. I am just a 13 year old, but I don’t want to have to pay to get more than 45 puzzles.
No nonsense puzzles
This app is exactly what we were looking for. The puzzle is large, and the keyboard is easy to type on. It’s very user friendly.
not easy for americans
if you’re not from europe good luck! there are so many references about europe or england or just antiquated words we don’t use in the US… there’s also no hint mechanism so u just get stuck googling answers
American crossword clues - not so good for other regions
Some of the clues seem A1 generated, and do not always make sense. You get a lot of puzzles for the subscription, but they are not that good really.
Enjoyable
I never thought I’d ever be doing crosswords as being dyslexic l didn’t think I would be able to do them, but I’ve found l can do them and reasonably well, and what’s more I’m improving which is great. I’m going to keep doing them now, as I enjoy it
Puzzle is covered by keyboard
I just started playing this. The first time I opened it it was fine but when returning to the puzzle the keypad is covering the bottom of the puzzle. Tried to get in touch with support but that just sends me to a page to buy more from them. I don’t think I’ll be buying more from them.

English not good enough
This was obviously made by someone whose first language is not English. And if you don’t watch Neighbours, you’re going to be in trouble. An example: someone who can’t speak = dummy.
Not suitable for all countries
The answers are very North American orientated, for Australia and probably other UK English counties. Some answers are a bit vague, without some guesswork or the occasional reveal they are near impossible to complete.

Basic word spelled incorrectly
Would be five stars, but they spelled “arrividerci” as “arriveRderci” in one puzzle. Like, good grief, it’s basic Italian…

Wonderful crossword game
This is easily the best crossword game available now. There are genuinely NO adverts , the puzzles develop and become more challenging as you go on. We absolutely LOVE it!
Money needed
Sad I thought it was free. Played 3 puzzles and then have to pay to continue. Boooooo.
British Game
This is has good crosswords that are challenging but not ridiculously hard. The only thing is that I am American and this game is from a British company, so some of the answers have different spellings than I’m used to and a few of the words we don’t really use here. Once I figured this out though I was able to figure out the answers with not too much added difficulty.
Clueless clues
Whilst the layout is easy to use, clear and uncluttered…it is frustrating when faced with clues that don’t match the words. 🤨Unable to complete the puzzle, one is forced to reveal the word; only to find that the clue doesn’t even match the word. 🤷🏻♀️ Frustrating and disappointing.
I love this developer’s apps!
In an ever increasing world where companies are confining customers to subscription services (sometimes as well as adverts every time you push a button!), it is so refreshing to see a developer working differently! I find Teazel’s crossword apps so accessible for this reason - yes they carry adverts in order to maintain themselves as a business which I totally understand, but what I like is that for a couple of quid, you can remove the adverts and contribute directly towards the developer’s games! In the case of ‘Crossword’, for just a one-time £4 purchase, you can play all 750+ crosswords available and remove the ads as well from what I remember. There is also smaller pricing should you choose to unlock a lesser number, with 45 puzzles provided for free. I can’t remember the cost for just removing the ads, but it is likely to be less than £4 as a separate purchase. All puzzles are of a casual level, and there is a flexible system of checking answers for the entire crossword that will highlight wrong answers and individual spelling errors to ensure the puzzles can be completed. The app can easily be accessed offline, which really works for me when I am on the move and need brain stimulation on trains or in airport queues etc. I am currently also using Spiral Crossword and Big Crossword from Teazel that have similar pricing models to the above, which really works for me and the flexibility it provides!
Not worth my time
The app does not work properly with external keyboard input. I am playing on my iPad. Simply not worth bothering with when other apps perform this simple function.

Puzzles can be torture when you come across a clue where the correct answer was misspelled... Overall entertaining
