I’ve been with optimum for years. Back when it used to just be branded by the company. They’ve gotten so cheap. They will have cool and fun events, but they don’t allow you to get points without paying anymore. I have gotten a spin event multiple times and each time you don’t get property free points anymore, not unless you want to spend tons of money to get it. What happened to the chance to win free points? They’ve gotten so cheap, I’m so disappointed. They lure you in with the idea of free points, but it’s only cheap tricks. Stop being greedy.

Becoming ensh*ttified
When you try to access your card, an ad or sponsored always pops up and stays for like half a minute. Love that when I’m standing in line at checkout and they’re waiting to scan my card. Luckily you can just add your card to Apple wallet now. I’ve also had digital coupons that I KNOW were valid until mid-September just disappear (i.e. the $4 off Starbucks Nespresso pods at No Frills). Can’t trust the app. It’s also becoming just super messy - I shouldn’t have to load my offers, load coupons, scroll through 5 or 6 different types of coupons, play a stupid game, etc. just to earn points. Make it simple again.

Was just forced to update app in the store and now app crashes when I start it. What good is a points program that doesn’t give points?
Glitchy app
Won’t let me load offers or put them on a list or let me delete items from my list. Loblaws charges too much, it’s no wonder people go to Walmart.
Forced Updates are WRONG!
You really need to re-think your decision on making iOS 17 mandatory for all of your company’s apps (Optimum, Financial, Express). It is just not right to access their cash, offers, etc., on devices that they are LEGALLY entitled to own. Based on these ratings and reviews, you must have lost many customers, but you obviously are not too concerned about that. *Attention: If you’re a previous PC customer who cannot access their PC Optimum/Financial/Express Apps, consider signing up for the SCENE+ Program. For all the Empire Grocery banners, plus earn points by fuelling at Shell stations too. Plus, you can purchase GIFT CARDS with your reward points! Yes, GIFT CARDS!!! ADDENDUM: So Loblaw Companies, are you enjoying seeing your ratings drop? Won’t be too long before it’s in the 2’s. Maybe watch your ratings and reviews, and react accordingly, so you stay relevant. That day will soon be coming. First off, THANK YOU for pushing me more towards the Scene+ Rewards program through Empire Company Limited. Using it more now, and seems to be a much more rewarding and personally relevant program. Check it out if you haven’t at Sobey’s, Freshco, Safeway, Foodland, etc. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. It seems PC and LCL no longer appreciate or care to retain our business. Guess they want phone sales to go up at their Mobile Shop…hmmm 🙄 Making apple updates mandatory is a very disrespectful and inconsiderate move on your part. With the world the way it is, many people cannot just upgrade their phone. The phone may be working fine, and the customer may feel very comfortable with their current phone. I will not be upgrading to a newer phone just because of an app upgrade. You have definitely lost this once loyal customer. I guess I will now just start redeeming my many points. I have enjoyed the many years with Pc Optimum, but doing what you did is totally disgusting. I will now move to a rival rewards program, and learn to like it just as much, and take advantage of their customer offers. Hope you reconsider, and just make this version update OPTIONAL for your customers. I guarantee you will lose many if you do not. Another corporation tried this mandatory upgrade, and they quickly reversed their decision. MD

I believe it’s in very poor taste to promote American companies. I am extremely disappointed that Loblaws a CANADIAN COMPANY is pushing American products. It is Totally irresponsible, regardless of what their suppliers are offering.

PC Optimum points
I can’t even tell you how many times I had to ask to add points to my account because they were not credited to my account after the eligible purchase! This app is inadequate.
A complete disservice
Every time I need to use it, I find myself logged out. Then, while I’m in the middle of paying at the store, I have to log in again, only for the app to show a “server problem” message. As a result, I can never use my code to collect points. Even when I’m at home and try to log in, the app often doesn’t work. It won’t even send me a password reset link. Honestly, it gives the impression that they make the process unnecessarily difficult so customers can’t collect points or take advantage of the benefits and discounts they are supposed to receive. Overall, I do not recommend it. The app is unreliable and extremely frustrating to use.
La circulaire n’est plus accessible
Récemment, la circulaire n’est plus disponible avec l’application, on entre le nom de la ville et il ne se passe plus rien. Merci.
Localisation
J’ai beau avoir inscrit mon adresse , l’application ne veut pas changer ma localisation et ça m’empêche de participer entre autre au concours dans la province de Québec où j’habite

Service à désirer
Ma dernière transaction a été chaotique!! Ça été tellement compliqué d’avoir mes point plus de deux semaine il a fallu que je rappelle et me disait encore qu’il fallait refaire un billet ! Tout ça tourne en rond sans fin. Il a fallu que je lève le le ton et que je mentionne de laisser faire et que pu jamais j’allais prendre mes offres pour l’avenir !! Je ne suis pas une fraudeuse et je mes suis senti comme ça lors de mon appel avec la personne qui m’a répondu et dont j’ai eu de laisser difficulté à le comprendre !! Alors cliente vraiment pas satisfait
Problème de connection
Je suis incapable de connecter l’application quand je suis dans le magasin même si itinérance et emplacement activées alors il n’est pas possible de consulter ma liste d’épicerie sur l’application!

Je ne suis plus capable d’avoir des points avec ma carte depuis plusieurs semaines n’étant pas capable de mettre à jour mes informations. Que faire?
