Probable data breach
I receive alot of emails asking me to very my account. They also don’t allow you to have no card on your account leaving me no option to block my bank card
Bar code reading error with iPhone 14
I love SnapScan and use it all the time but something is up with the camera focus when trying to read barcodes on parking tickets. It doesn’t know how to direct the correct camera perhaps. Would be great if this could be fixed.

Used to love Snapscan; now it refuses to let me add a new card and offers zero further info or access to support.
Convenient & great app but…
There is no option to delete a credit card that was set up for payment, which I need to do as my card was used in a fraudulent transaction by someone. No edit option anywhere. I checked to make sure I was on an updated version of Snapscan. I am. Help!
Easy
I use this app everyday. It might slow it down but have a cancel option as you pay might be good especially if you typed in the wrong amount 😆🤦🏼♂️
Can’t open the app
Basically i keep on having to verify my device with my email. Over and over and over again! Mind you that I have the app and my email the same device. So it shouldn’t be an issue. Iv tried verifying all the different ways like copying and pasting the link. It says the device verification email is not valid anymore. I get the email immediately when I ask them to resend a new link. But it’s the same thing over and over again. I even trying deleting the app and reinstalling. Nothing

Bug
The application is awesome, and paying by QR code is convenient and effortless UNTIL the app updates and I have to start from scratch and set up the app again. BTW I usually discover this just as I need to pay for something which is hugely inconvenient. I’ll use Apple Pay anytime over this for seamless continuity.
Decent
It’s fine for paying for washing machines, electricity but don’t put a lot of money in here because good luck withdrawing it back into your account. It’s easy to add money in but taking it out requires ID document, selfie and once you do that pray that an unexplained error doesn’t occur. Make sure you don’t want to take money out because once it’s in there there’s no getting it out unless you’re buying something that supports its payment.
Lack of Repeat payments
Once you have paid a merchant why can’t you choose to pay again without having to scan the code. Useful when you order by phone.

No Virtual Card support
Cannot handle virtual cards. They sometimes get added successfully only to stop working again. Random arbitrary errors when trying to add them too. No longer usable for someone like me who refuses to use physical cards due to risk of fraud & theft. Will stick with Zapper then.
Works well
Great app I enjoy using it at my local market amongst other places. I like the fact I can choose amount for a tip in a restaurant. Fairly easy to use. Needs more marketing though as not too many places have it.

SnapScan in general
Hi there, I’ve been using SnapScan for some time now however what I find frustrating is that there aren’t many vendors, shops etc that allow SnapScan for example checkers. Pretty much all I’m able to use it for is when I go to the laundromat and even then I encounter a problem that if I pay multiple times because I use up to five washers and then five dryers I get the red alert saying I’ve paid too many times. I just wish that it was useable at more vendors then I would give 5 stars. Kind regards Leigh-Anne

I hate carrying cash on me so Snapscan is the perfect solution. Now I pay for my coffee and meals at markets by easily scanning a code with my phone - awesome!
Service is good but ...
I have used SnapScan for a while and I have to admit it works fine. I however, have a major problem with the software. There is no option to create an account and register and anytime the up is updated or my phone is restored or reset I have to "readd" my card which cost R2. I am happy to pay for apps and services, this constant payment at any update or re-addition is not appropriate.
Generally Great, with an issue.
The idea is great and I use SnapScan for so many things but one issue I have is that if you have a balance in your wallet, you can only use it if your transaction amount is below your balance amount, you can’t make the rest of the amount up with your card.
So quick and easy
SnapScan makes cashless paying so quick, easy and convenient. The app is easy to use and intuitive. I seldom need to carry my wallet or cash with me anywhere I go now.
Authentication issues
It used to be a good app but every time I open it have issues, the latest is an authentication issue which doesn’t work. Sad that a good app becomes unusable after a big corporate takes it over!!
Security uncertain
It is a worrisome sign that any software publisher considers a jailbroken phone an inherent security risk for its software. It indicates a lack of understanding of application and network security and bodes ill for that developer taking proper responsibility for the safety of my payment data. While the application concept is a good one, as a technology consultant I see unnecessary risk in trusting a developer with sensitive data who begins alarmist finger-pointing before properly and thoroughly examining relevant security, threat, and vulnerability models.
Failed transactions
Cannot go back to Menu screen after a transaction failed.
Good app
Great app. Especially when you're at the farmers market and don't have cash. It really makes it very easy. An Apple Watch app would be great!

Card Labls
May you please give us the option to label the cards , currently you can load a lot of cards and be confused as to which card you are using , atleast if we can have the option to name FNB , Standard , Capitec , Nedbank etc so that when you select you know which card you are using ! Right now it’s a lot of cards with numbers , I cannot be cramming all this numbers nooo 🤦🏾♀️

This app and its merchant system ROCKS! Makes paying for things in places that would normally not have a card machine so convenient... All businesses need this new way of paying!
Verification Fail
Not an ideal situation using a third party provider to verify your identity with the DHA. 8 attempts later and they still can’t seem to “verify my identity” and because of this any funds that will be in the wallet can’t be withdrawn. No point in using the app if that was the intended purpose. The fact that a manual verification process is not available is even worse.
