Ok first of all I used to love hoopla, it used to be so great but now we only get 4 books a month and a Daily collective borrow limit? I have to stay up until 12 am just to get a book.
Awesome app
It is an awesome app. I love the off-line feature, except you can’t download unless you’re connected to an Internet source but still great thank you.

Ok, so good app. I can deal with it. But like, what is up with you only getting 4 books a month. I’m not deleting cuz it does have good books, but I now have to use two apps. (Hoopla and Libby) 🙄 -EmiBean

Easy to use, but only four borrows a month. There are occasional bonus borrows, but still.
No Support
I would have given five stars last month. However, I am currently in the process of trying to troubleshoot the downloading ability. I keep getting the midnight error message. There is absolutely no support. I went to my library and they tried to help but told me I have to wait five days for someone else to help me. If you have an app, you need to be able to help people when there are problems.

One thing. MORE BOOKS! put this in most helpful, BECAUSE IT IS!! we need more books!!! DOMT GET THIS APP OF U HAVE THE KINDLE APP! (unless u like big Nate) which is the ONLY book series they have a LOT of!!

I love Hoopla. It’s a really good place where I can listen to my favorite audiobooks and stuff. The only downside is that you’ll only get a certain amount of books per month.

Enjoying the many audiobooks
It’s great being able to listen to so many audiobooks. I’ve found that I don’t have to wait like some other apps seem to do. I don’t know, I pretty much just use hoopla. I do wish there was a way to categorize the saved titles instead of everything going into one favorites folder. I want books I’ve read/heard but enjoyed to stay separate from the ones tbr.
Borrows
I feel as though the amount of holds I get each month is unrealistic, and the amount of time I get with the book is limited. I would like more time with each book at least.
Usually good, but…
I like what this app offers. Search engine could be improved. Most annoying problem is when the app stops downloading; I have to delete the app and reinstall it to be able to download what I checked out to my device.
The Killer
This is the best assassin series out there. It is not the same as the movie of the same name. The Victor the Assassin series by Tom Wood is exciting and follow each other in a continuous story.
Worked once then didn’t
I was able to borrow and stream a movie and everything worked fine. A week later tried to borrow another movie and it says I exceeded my daily limit. I have nothing borrowed so I can’t be exceeding my daily borrowing limit. Tried again on consecutive days and still get the borrowing limit error.
Enjoyable
I like the program. However it’s unfortunate that’s like no it’s to 10 books a month.
Need more borrows
Decent selection although of more titles would always be good. Easy to use app and I’ve received no issues with play babe. However the limit of borrows allowed for 1 month is not ideal for someone that really like books. Half the month is wasted waiting to be able to borrow your next read. Increase that limit and the app would go from good to amazing in my opinion
Could Be Better
It’s unfortunate that you’re limited to 5 books per month. I thought 10 was bad, but 5 is crazy. I get into a series and have to wait 25 days to continue. Sometimes I’ve had to find the books via another source.

Not good
I’ve given up trying to read books on this app. Certain books it never holds your spot, so every time you open the book it starts at the beginning. Really frustrating

Fantastic app, I use it to download albums so I can listen offline. Only problem is recently the albums will remove from my downloads (before the return date) and won’t download again unless I delete and re-install the app. Other than that I love it! Great music selection.

App issues
Recently, I’ve had issues with the app. There were days that it would not load at all, just a black screen. As well as times where I’ve been logged out and it will not allow me to log back in. Before this started happening I would have rated 5 stars, but this has been a big inconvenience.

Can’t login
Need to fix this. Cannot login and the change password using the link. The book I have on loan is ticking and will likely expire before I can get back into the app and read it. Not impressed.
Downloading fails
Generally happy with the service, but the interface has a lot of room for improvement. Have to reinstall it every few days to fix download issues.

Regular dropouts and disconnections
The app is fine when connected to wifi and not moving. However, I use it in the car and download audiobooks. When I experience network issues, I get disconnected and have no way of restarting my audiobook or the app. Surely I should be able to listen to a downloaded book without needing to be connected to wifi? It would help if the app was exposed to iOS shortcuts, then I could create a shortcut to restart the book.

When I first joined it was amazing. But all the titles I wanted disappeared in a month and now it’s just so so.
Easy and Convenient
I really love using Hoopla! It’s so easy and convenient, and I’ve found so many great books and audiobooks. I love that I can use it with my library card. Such a useful app!
Worthless
I deleted the app because I thought the app was the problem. It wasn’t the app, my card expired. Renewed my card, kept getting an email isn’t valid with this account. Reset password, opened in Firefox and then page cannot be found error appears when I try to return to homepage after reading synopsis of a book. The app won’t let me change card number so it’s saving the old card information. I can’t sign in on app and I can’t sign out on website. Pathetic,

Rubbish
Review has worked well for sometime but has now kept giving error messages “wrong PIN number” contact library. So I did and had my password reset and reloaded the app as instructed. Still does not work and there appears nothing I can do to solve. Should have an more simple workaround

I love this app its very nice it has audiobooks and comics/graphic novel but it saying that every book has been returned and why is there a book limit for the app
Clunky and buggy
It’s great to be a BLE to access my local library albeit this app does not do Sutherland Library justice.
Why?
It is a good app but I wish you could borrow as many books as you want instead of a limit of 15 books and also when I scroll too fast it sends me to my Home Screen and finally I tapped into the app and then it sends me back to my Home page again

Will Not Open
I normally really like Hoopla but ever since the newest update, the app will not open! Super annoying especially since I am in the middle of an audiobook and can’t open the app to finish it.

I would like to address the issue of how many books we are allowed to borrow. Hoopla is a well made app but the fact that you can only borrow 10 books a month is pathetic. I think if you can have up to ten books and if you return a book your aloud to get another one is a way better idea

You can only borrow 10 books from a series at a time so if you want another book from that series you have to wait a whole month to get it! It is SO annoying! But Hoppla is still kind of good. P.s if you return the book you still have to wait the month! So Hoppla please fix this!
Disappointed
updated app won’t open! Very annoying. Previously would not let me borrow said I reached daily library limit… which I’m still not even close to at all, so weird. It never used to do this!
