Be very careful about purchasing!
I purchased a one year membership for $139.99 and quickly realize that I needed a teams membership so I upgraded and was refused a refund or a credit from the $139.99I already paid. I have asked for the credit and have been refused by both Apple and MileIQ. Buyer beware!
Helpful
Very helpful
No customer service
I am having troubles getting into work. I bought a subscription on my desktop and it will not transfer Into my app. I have contacted them twice by email and nobody has gotten back to me. There is no phone number for anybody to talk to very frustrating. The app looks like it could be good if I could ever get it to work that’s why I gave it a s2 star instead of a 1 star.
Great App, but too Expensive
This is a great app, but unfortunately the developers have gotten greedy and keep raising the price for renewal. I will not be renewing at expiration.
Very useful
Needed to track my mileage for business and ended up getting more benefits. Frequently use it to track mileage for all things including bicycling and trying to remember when and where I went.
Not what I need
I need quick total of mileage, how many drives is useless. Also, cannot customize the mileage rate.
Why are you losing
I realized I was losing a significant amount of time and leaving a lot of cash on the table by not remembering every drive, especially the short business-related trips. Those short trips add up very quickly, and I was losing about $200 to $300 because I wasn’t remembering to write them down. Because of this, I highly recommend using MileIQ to track your drives.
Slow. Buggy. Often won’t respond AT ALL
App is slow to load. When it finally does, asks for a review before you can do anything. REALLY?? Pop up interruptions are not a good way to get good reviews. The concept is simple, and solid. But the app is full of shameless self promoting without doing the SIMPLE task it is downloaded for. Boo. Hiss.
Price Increase is Outrageous
I have been using Mile IQ for 2.5 years now. I loved it at first because it made tracking my business miles so easy. In the time that I've had this app the price has increased from $69 my first year to $97 my second year. Now when I look at the renewal charge for the next year it is now going to be $140. I unfortunately will not be renewing after this year because that's a $70 increase in 2 years. That's insane in my opinion. I'm a small business and I don't use business miles every day so it was nice having an affordable app to use and now they are just like all the other overpriced apps. 😕🫣 Disappointed.
Best mile tracker
Love this product
No longer tracks
It was tracking really well until I got a new phone and I have done all my log and stuff. It says it’s active but it no longer tracks. I was loving it now not too much after I paid for the year and it doesn’t work. Sent an email to tech-support. Nothing back yet.
Massive Time Saver
One of the best apps I have. I no longer have to worry about lost journey details. I find this vital for completing my mileage and timesheets. I’m lucky to get the paid for by my employer but it’s one of those apps that I’d probably pay for anyway.
Inconsistent
It is inconsistent when it detects or not. I received an email today that it had not been detecting drives for weeks. Without notice. But if I pause (and have a set time to resume) it will harass me with notifications. Wildly inconsistent.
Wtf?
Why did the price skyrocket to nearly double its original $79.99???? That’s insane - will be finishing the year out and finding another
Great app
If you have a business where u need to track Your miles this is the absolute best app out there
Greed killed this app
Price increase from $89 per year to $140 is diabolical.
Great app
Good for tracking business miles, I used to miss so many before using and all my friends with a need to claim mileage now use it
Extra tracking required. Very frustrated
I find it takes a lot of time to add all the mileage it misses. It changes the addresses I enter when I manual need to enter a drive it has missed. I take my phone with me when I leave the car, have my wifi on and it still is inaccurate. I need it for work and it creates work
Average & Clunky
They all want our money to be any good. On free mode, this one won’t show you a map or even store your frequent destinations. It’s also stuck on miles in the reimbursement mode - stupid. Still 40 per month inputs for free vs paying for ‘DriversNote’ is better than paying I guess
Sales
The only thing that is going to make me shop for another app. Is the cost is going to double next year.
Price gouging
I’ve had this program now my second year. It is now going from 89.99 a year which was a giant increase over the beginning now they’re trying to kick it up to $139 a year which is a $50 increase which is more than a 50% increase in its price. I will be canceling my subscription at the end of the year and going to a different mileage tracking program because $139 a year is absolutely atrocious..
Mileage made easy
Very easy to use, what a useful app!
Update
Although the new update provides almost and immediate report of a trip sometimes it makes a small pot stop seem like two different trips. Would like it to be more accurate when reporting final trips.
Inaccurate trips
Some of my travel logs do not show accurate addresses or routes that I take regularly and been to before. Especially if I’m travelling between two local cities less tab an hour travel between them
Excellent tool
Easy to use.
Subscription price almost doubled
Subscription price almost doubled, no warning no benefits added
Bonne application
App -great, customer service-not so much
The actual app and reports works well but pray you never need to access customer service. They have no phone service available and the only response you will get is a very empathetic chat bot that regrets to inform you they can’t help. There is a known issue with a double billing bug, which you will not find out about until your annual subscription auto renews and they refuse to either refund the double billing or credit the years worth of service to the upcoming year with no charge. The email responses as I attempted to resolve this issue said they understood my frustration but refused to offer any productive or satisfactory resolution. If actual customer service is important to you, this is NOT the app for you.
Awesome
Perfect for my use as a small business
Wow you got expense quickly
That didn’t take long for you to double the monthly price no warning no added benefits…
Doubled the price
Loved using this but to raise the cost to double from one year to another? It is nonsense. especially as I found other apps easily for the original costs i payed. So bye
OK app need more development
This app is helpful. It’s okay. It assists with my travelling mileage calculation, unfortunately, some of the numbers are incorrect, and when I try to classify business and personal mileage, it won’t let me change it. It was difficult to make certain adjustments because they use AI and track our addresses, automatically classifying some trips. Sometimes, those classifications are not accurate.
Amazing!!
My tax accountant told about this app. It's already been a blessing!! It's easy to use and the dollar amount incentivizes me to keep track. My mileage write-off is going to be stellar next year.
Doesn’t work anymore
Why?
Greedy developers
Been using this app for ages and it’s good at what it does. Recently developers have more than doubled the price so I’m going back to a notebook in the car. £95 a year is a pi** take
Good app and simple
It’s great don’t get me wrong. But don’t get why I can’t edit individual trips to adjust starts and stops.
MileIQ
Honestly for the money, worth every penny. Helps keep on accountable and discipline about managing my miles and pretty easy to use. Very thankful for this app and would recommend coming from a health care worker.
Good until it isn’t!
I have been subscribed to this app for almost a year and at first it was fine. Then somewhere along the way it erased all my drives. I have months of data that just vanished. The customer support team basically can’t do anything to recover any of the drives. I’ve been told to leave the app suspended in the background at all times or it doesn’t work. I tried that and it still erased all my data for the period I had it suspended. Maybe I was the one UNLUCKY customer but this is extremely frustrating and without any resolution it’s very frustrating. They have been paid every month and I have no data.
Good app, but price rise too much
Been using for a couple of years and has been good. Just cancelled my subscription as the 100% price just is too steep and greedy.
Convenient
It’s an ok tracker that saves me having to do things manually however, it’s tracking is quite a bit “off” (even after all the updates) and given the mileage I drive, it probably loses me between 250 to as much as 500 miles per year that translates into almost £250 loss. If you have a single vehicle then, by all means, this app will work for you, but if you run several vehicles then you risk losing thousands of pounds in potential refunds on your tax bill.
Always on
Love it!
Predatory subscription Practice
Another sneaky annual subscription. Watch out people.
Ok app but NOT worth the price hike.
Been using the app for a very long time, it’s ok, not great as doesn’t pick up short journeys, certainly NOT worth paying the over 50% price hike when things are not 100%
Was Great Until
Worked great paying £4.95 now 100% increase cancelled my subscription now , maybe greed has taken over
