Capital G Garbage

If junk had a pic, this app would be next to it in the dictionary. What was Fred and great is now for a fee and once you pay, you realize that they’ve sold you something that’s obsolete at best and exposes you to thievery. NoNoNo. Not on my best day would I keep this app on my phone.

It is good

This is my first year tracking the expenses as a driver so far is been good, and sometimes the app is slow I guess they still working on it, but is simple I want to see the results

Meh.

I don’t like the recent update. I don’t like how we have to manually turn Gridwise on now. I lost out on a couple days of mileage because I wasn’t aware that we are responsible for activating it. I’m considering of ending my subscription.

The app isn’t tracking any miles at all even the manual tracking doesn’t work please fix this or I want a refund for the whole year I’ve paid for this subscription

The plus annual service price is wrong

App says for Gridwise plus annually is $107.99 and under that says, just $6/month billed annually. Obviously $6/month is $72 annually. What price is it?

It’s great except for tracking miles

The app is great. It tracks your earnings (mostly automatically), entering expenses is easy and straightforward. Exporting everything for tax time… done before you know it…. Tracking miles…. I never remember to turn it on and off manually and auto tracking tracks miles for 36 hours at a time sometimes… I’m not driving when I’m sleeping… I’m pretty sure. It doesn’t know when to stop

Non-refundable

Just a bunch of scammers. After the 7-day trial, I forgot to cancel my subscription, so they charged me $15.99, and then Apple refused to refund me, even though I hadn’t used the premium version of the app for a single day. I emailed the developers, but they completely ignored me — no response whatsoever. If you go to ‘View all plans’ in your subscriptions, you’ll see a pattern of subscription price hikes, starting from $5. What’s more, you can subscribe for a month at a price three times lower than in the app 😂 They don’t really care, but I suspect they’ll fix this after I’ve pointed it out. The app itself isn’t particularly useful on a global scale. Showing earnings trends in different areas would only really be useful in somewhere like California, and even then only for Doordash and Uber drivers. Forget about other apps — there’s nothing useful here for you. They’ll show you the most popular airports… For $15.99… There’s absolutely no justification for that price. Save your money; there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good.

Great, but needs one important thing

I really love this app and it tracks my mileage great. But why can you not see your personal mileage total? You can easily see your business miles total, but when doing taxes it also asks your personal miles. When you tap on personal miles it just takes you to where you have tagged each journey as personal. Am I supposed to go through each day of the year and add them all up? I left Hurdlr to use Gridwise because Gridwise looked a lot nicer, but at least they showed my business and personal mileage. Please, please add this simple thing. I’m baffled why it’s not already there, it has all this information. Thanks.

A little to much info

It asks for your username & password for any platform you use for the “sign in process” 🚩🚩 I see a potential data leak coming. Your information could be getting sold, hacked and so on. Do not ever link your uber or dasher, etc to an app that makes you login to it so they can see what type of data you have. I wouldn’t download it that’s just me.

Stay away!

This app is trash. The mileage tracking works periodically but when your job is to drive you need it to always track your mileage. $15 and it did not work. Was unable to get a refund through the developer or Apple. Scummy.

Better than it has any right to be but needs polish

A strong application for Gig workers or even freelancers who need reliable mileage tracking. Really useful when paired with a forward thinking business bank. Takes most of the manual work out tracking mileage and preparing for taxes. Room for improvement in the following areas. Totaling personal mileage recorded, more accuracy and data neededfor all types of gig work(grocery info is rough). The auto mileage works adequately but still requires time and effort to keep mileage properly accounted for.

I love how the app tracks your expenses and allows you to see insights and trends and breaks down your earnings! This app is essential for all those gig workers of the world this should be right next to your main app that you use to make money

Why am I getting pop-up ads on an app that I’m paying a subscription to?

I am paying for this app every month but now it just added pop-up ads whenever I start the app. I am already paying for this app I should never see an ad.

Useless unless in big cities like ATL

One of this apps main selling points was that it can give you insights into when the best time to work!- except it only works in big cities, despite my city being the 2nd biggest city in the state bahaha. What a joke. Uninstalled immediately.

Inaccurate Miles. I’ve tested multiple times

Mileage tracker is very inaccurate. I drive around 120-200 miles a day and the mileage tracker is off by 5-10 miles per day which isn’t a lot but if you’re doing gig work full time this could lead to thousands of dollars of missed deductions. I’ve tested this out by taking before and after pictures of my odometer, at the start of my shift and end of my shift. it is always inaccurate. I’ve also ran another milage tracker (Stride) at the same time, and “stride” was accurate to the tee, while Gridwise always came in short. I ran this test multiple times. Very disappointed because the earnings tracker is very useful. Hope they can fix this.
