Best Banking Experience
NECU delivers transparent banking solutions to customers with outstanding customer support. My mortgage was a breeze with them.
Worst UX + content design for a fin app
Really roundabout ways to pay a bill (loads a new tab within the app and doesn't seem like it's built in - sketchy). There's a lot of unnecessary animations (esp with Move Money). It's ludicrous that there's a non-dismissible promo at the top of the page, above bank account information, most of which is completely unrelated to me. It's clear they've never hired a content designer because so much of the in-app text is all caps or generally makes no sense. Financial apps have come a long way but NWFCU's never got the memo and is squarely stuck in the 90s (and not in a cute vintage way).
Life Lock Access
I have set up Life Lock to watch my accounts, PENFED, Fidelity, etc. I have set up NWFCU as one of the ac punts, but it doesn’t stick. I have to go in and re-establish the connection. Then I get an email from NWFCU saying an unknown computer has made contact. These days, it is very helpful when Life Lock and NWFCU are both looking out for me. How about you two companies see if you can work together ?
Only work sometimes
It rarely works and when it does or somtimes I just get stuck at log. Or it makes me accept the terms and conditions 1000 times but never lets me into my. Account. I have set up my passcode for login about 8 times it just keeps forgetting. Honest just get a whole new bank.
Can be better
The app is simple in design and easy to navigate but sometimes it can be very slow and janky.
Super-convenient Online banking @ NWFCU
I really enjoy the ease and straightforward online banking provided by Northwest Federal…the only thing that compares, is their super customer service when you call them directly.
Unable to load transactions and pay off cc
The app appears non functional on iphone. I'll need to use the web ui or android to pay my cc and see transactions unfortunately. Account snapshots load fine however. If I try to do anything else I get an error asking me to try back later. For three or four days now.
Dislike the new layout
Put Bill pay back on the main screen, now it takes three clicks to get to it. Instead of pushing Zelle down our throats. Or even better, allow users to customize the icons at the bottom. Otherwise, great app.

Sat on phone for over an hour waiting for somebody to pick up and I haven’t got a call back yet

Great banking options
Any option I need is available from North West. The banking app allows Face ID to log in. Internal and external transactions are very easy to preform and they are quick

It’s a decent app. A little clunky but works for the basic things. Unfortunately they require a SECOND APP to control your cards….why? Who knows.

Terrible
This app was always bad, but they made some kind of update recently that has made it unusable. It just won’t load. It’s almost completely useless even more so than before it’s really making me reconsider using this financial institution any longer.

Can’t transfer funds between accounts
Something happened within the last 2 weeks. I can no longer transfer funds between accounts. When I try I just get a constantly spinning icon. Makes the app fairly useless for my uses.

I love the full service of this app. I don’t have to worry about access, paying bills or transferring money. It’s great and only getting better.
