doesn't sync with iCloud?
I've been using CloudBeats for years to sync with my record collection on OneDrive and would've given it a raving 5-star review. But I'm migrating from OneDrive to iCloud and it seems it doesn't even have iCloud as an option for connecting. I'll probably remove it from my devices. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Paid for Pro but didn’t get it
I paid for Pro but didn’t get it. App downloaded and I paid for the upgrade, but never got a code or password or registration and my app didn’t upgrade. I sent a problem form on line and got no response. Can someone help?
Please add Chromecast support on iOS
The app is great and does almost everything I want, except that I can’t stream to my Chromecast devices when I am at home. Please consider adding that feature (I know the Android version has it).
Lyrics function gone!
What happened to the lyrics finder? I had the old free version and it was part of the reason why I bought this app! After the update it's gone! Bring it back please!!!
Great cloud streaming app.
A good cloud streaming app. Would be nice to have the option to open on a certain screen, for example albums instead of artists etc. only shows track numbers up to track number 99 for albums containing more.
Doesn’t play wma format
No drm, but no wma are visible via this app. Ok for mp3.
Has bugs
Somewhat buggy. It kept asking me to log in. Whe I upgraded from free to paid version I expected it to keep my tracks but I had to scan all my folders again.
Perfect Music App for OneDrive and CarPlay
I store music on OneDrive to make it easily accessible from many devices. This app makes it really easy to make playlists and download the files for offline listening. The CarPlay integration works perfectly as well. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Problematic
It seems to take a very long time for music stored on my Google drive to show up. It used to not be that way, it used to be automatic, but now it seems you have to just wait until it decides to show up.

Best music streaming app
After trying six other apps, Cloudbeats is hands down the best solution for my needs. My music library includes over 20,000 tracks from more than 2,000 artists. I manage everything with MediaMonkey and upload the files to OneDrive for streaming. Cloudbeats offers a clean, intuitive UI that’s both simple and powerful. Streaming is rock-solid on both cellular and Wi-Fi connections, and browsing by Artist, Album, or Genre is well organized and easy. The only drawback I’ve encountered is keeping the library fully up to date as I continue refining my organization. Syncing can be a bit tricky, especially with a large collection. That said, support is outstanding. The developer has been extremely responsive and helpful with my questions. Overall, I highly recommend this app.
Doesn’t sync between devices!!
It’s a general music player nothing special there. I purchased the extra package so I could listen in between phone and iPad and it doesn’t work. I contacted support and tried what they asked of me and nothing. Support stopped responding to me. Huge waste of $20. Just stick with one of the free apps.
Almost Perfect
I’ve been using this app for a few months now because I wanted a way to listen to music that I own without paying a ridiculous amount of subscription fees. It does the job right, giving me access to my music wherever I am and allowing me to download my playlists for offline use. Though sometimes occasionally the app crashes and I’m not sure why, and I don’t know if the app is regularly being fixed for bugs because the App Store says the last update was a year ago. If the developer(s?) were regularly improving this app and adding new features and functionality, I think it could be even better. A few simple features that would be nice would be: 1) the ability to see a list of every single song in one spot. Right now, it seems that it’s only possible to look at songs within an album. If I could just see them all in alphabetical order that would be great. 2) multiple selection. I want to be able to pick more than one song and save them to a playlist. This combined with #1 would make creating playlists so much faster. 3) make the app available on desktop or browser. These things seem like they would be simple enough to implement (I don’t know though, I’m not a coder!) and I’d be willing to pay for the subscription that allows multi-device syncing if I could more easily make playlists and access them from a non-mobile device. Otherwise, I don’t know any better apps out there so I’m happy with it for now!
Glitches a lot
You’ll have a playlist that works fine and then suddenly it errors and no longer works, even though you never touched anything in your storage drive. Pretty annoying for a paid version of something:

Crude user interface, blurred display on my iPhone 15+
7-5-2024: I have over 3000 songs ripped several decades of my CD-Roms to my MS OneDrive Cloud. The big (huge?)disappointment is the apps in-ability to easily create playlists(if even possible at all). For some reason the graphics are blurred looking. Way too much of a hassle to me…sorry. I’ll have to keep using legacy brandX music play on my older legacy Bluetooth SmartPhone
Another app that over promises
Just scanned three hundred tracks in my Dropbox audio folder — and after what seemed an age, most of the tracks scanned have been ignored. What’s the point of a streaming/download music app if it can’t handle audio files?!
Used to work well, but Radio Mix no longer works consistently
I’ve used this app for years, it’s been super useful for my Nextcloud library. But recently, Folder Radio Mix option does not properly work and often will only play 4 or 5 songs before giving up, even tho the folder has 400 songs in it.
Works with onedrive
I bought the paid version and I really enjoy it. The one feature that I feel like needs to be added is for the now playing playlist to update automatically. For example, if I an in a folder and it begins to play files in that folder automatically it should reflect this in the now playing playlist. Essentially, the now playing feature needs some more information/context and upgrades. Overall, it works for me. Recommend.
iPhone 16promax
Upgraded iPhone from 13 to 16 Promax. First time launching it is frozen. Now if I delete, lose all playlists… probably will do that as last resort.

Took my money
Every time I try to use this now, after upgrading to premium, I get a "Track Loading Error" message about how a URL could not be found. I kind of count on this to work when I need it to, more and more it fails me. Is there any way to fix this or should I just give in and go to iCloud?
Needs work , needs an update
Need ability to create a playlist off my genres add several genres to create on playlist . Also “play next song, add to que needs to be better” and just needs an update to feel more smooth
Very useful
Great program. I sync my large Grateful Dead collection to my Google Drive for back up, and then can stream from there to any device I install Cloudbeats on: my own streaming service! Excellent. Also, this runs very well on a suitable Mac computer than can run iPad apps.

I’m TRYING to playing music in my car & it keeps pausing.
Great app when it works
I find that every time I want to use this app I have some sort of issue. Generally speaking this means that I cant actually listen to anything with it. I have a large music collection and had previously taken the time to wait several hours for the app to index my entire library. That seems to improve things for a while but now again I seem to be in the same situation where nothing wants to play from Dropbox, I can’t use radio mixes with offline or online songs and the library although fully populate does not let me listen to any songs. When I can get further along, I am also plagued by track loading errors. This occurs on both stable wifi and 4G/5G. I really want this app to work but not sure what else I can do here except look for an alternative. I have also paid for the app which makes it rather disappointing. Update 1: I have reinstalled the app and taken several days to fully index my library again. It seems to work for now with no issues. Hoping this solves my issues for good 🤞 Update 2: seems since my last update the app overall works better and I haven’t had any tracking loading issues this far, so hopefully this will be the end of my problems
Lots of interruptions and lags in playback
I was super excited for this app, but so far I’m disappointed bc there are so many long delays and interruptions in playback, even when I have a full wifi signal and all other apps are closed on my phone.
Probably the best app for cloud music collections BUT…
Great app to access your mp3s in the cloud . And it’s the best at what it does among other apps but it seems to struggle keeping track of all file locations in LARGE music collections. Scanning the large library takes forever EVEN WHILE PLAYING MUSIC AS SUGGESTED. By large I mean 15,000 to 30,000+ file collections on Google Drive. The sync feature between devices doesn’t work as well as the developer thinks it does either. But I still don’t regret paying for the subscription as I said it’s the best at what it does as despite its shortcomings no one else that I’ve tested comes close
Great app
Been using this since 2021. I ripped all my cds during the pandemic so I could get rid of them. This is a great app for listening to music you “own”. I have a ton of music from local artists who disappeared before putting their music on streaming services. You can create playlists too. It connects to dropbox and google drive easily. I haven’t tested others. The only feature I would add is the ability to connect accounts like itunes, spotify, etc. Then, you could build playlists with music you don’t own along with music you do.

Started getting errors that files were corrupted on my OneCloud (they aren’t), and never worked again.
Almost ideal, one thing missing
On the plus side, this app does a fine job of streaming from Dropbox, Box and other cloud based storage platforms. In this respect it does what MusicStreamer from Stratospherix cannot do. However, the let down is connectivity to NAS drives. This app only offers WebDAV (which is hard work) but does NOT offer SMB (much easier to setup). So at present to be completely covered, you need both MusicStreamer and CloudBeats. Nic

Songs stops playing on Wi-Fi and is really bad on cell data. Constantly have to restart app for it to work.

Looove
I love this app! Not more worrying about my kids scratching CDs or worrying about taking our multiple CDs with us. This is a the perfect app! I bought the $7 version just to give some thank you money to the developers!
Stagnant…
While others are progressing and adding features like bass boost and cross fade, just to mention two of many, CloudBeats is still here sitting stagnant. Time to move on.

It had potential
I’m very disappointed in this product and lack of customer support! I email this company from within the software and got NO RESPONSE for a product I paid for. There is no option to sign up to the company and the software has issues such as many times it just stops and doesn’t play the next track!
Stability has improved
Stability has improved. However, I am now wondering if there is a limit to number of files that can be downloaded for offline play? I am nowhere near phone memory limit but regularly have to re-download with message that file is corrupted. Would be 5 stars if I didn’t have to keep re-downloading files and if it had an equalizer.
Fabulous for NextCloud
This app works better than I ever expected with NextCloud. I’d give it six stars if I could. If you are looking for a total solution for streaming music from your private NextCloud account just get it.
Awful
Not intuitive at all and playlists stop playing after 4 songs. Hopeless
Carplay
Overall a good player, although downloading music is a pain. Wma support would be a bonus plus Carplay support.

I select shuffle in a playlist and it doesn’t shuffle I select Radio and it says it can’t, but not why I don’t find it intuitive
Getting there!
This is the best option on iOS but could benefit from a bit of a UI refresh. There are no sorting options for your collection so you can't sort by Year/Album/Artist. It only organises everything by the ablum title!? When you have a large collection it isn't very user friendly.. It is also extremely slow to load album art (from OneDrive) - you literally have to hover over every image for it to load, and even then it often doesn't until you play the track.. Perhaps a button in the menu to load images in one go could be an option? My recommendations are: Use the same player style as in iTunes where the media controls drop to the bottom instead of a very dated image of a CD to bring back the media controls. Move the hamburger menu to the left (where it should be) and put the "Scan" button in the menu, then have a sorting options dropdown on the right. Also... Dark Mode :)
