Playback sort wrong
When playing back files it messes the order up. No matter which “Sort” setting I use, it either randomizes the order or defaults to alphabetical. Paid for Premium. Want my money back.
Bug!
Hello! I wanna start with how awesome and simple the app is. It works perfectly for offline listening and storing my own songs while be able to play them normally unlike google drive. With that being said, I’ve noticed that every single song of mine cuts out near the end and then cuts in. I don’t know if I’m the only one with this issue but I just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thank you!

Great! But Need It for Apple Watch
GoPlayer is a fantastic iOS app for streaming and managing your music library directly from Google Drive. Please, developers, make this app (or at least a companion version) available for Apple Watch so we can stream our Google Drive music library on our Watches.
I want just a player, nothing else
I want a player that can play mp3s on my Google drive without any other options like “delete”. That is incredibly scary. This player needs access to all files on my gdrive, plus it want delete capabilities. No thanks. How about a simple mp3 player with a random shuffle and no other features? No need to access my photos, documents, video etc.
Apple Watch
This app would be perfect if we can get it on the Apple Watch and can sync music to it. You would be able to hit the trails & gym workout the need for your phone
Worked well until now
Idk if this happened for anyone else, but suddenly I have to be connected to the wifi in order to play any songs. The entire reason why I downloaded this app was so I could listen to music offline, but clearly I can’t do that anymore. It also won’t load some of my music files. Now I’ll have to switch to a different app.
Biblioteca, Otimização, e botões
A biblioteca de músicas não consegue carregar todas de forma “instantânea” ou “otimizada” falta melhorar muito essa parte, as músicas demoram MUITO para carregar e sempre tem que ficar “atualizando” e esperando a página da biblioteca carregar todas as músicas, percebi que ela só consegue carregar 200 músicas de início depois disso demora muito. No modo aleatório os botões de “próxima” e “anterior” não escolhem uma próxima música aleatória ele seleciona a próxima música logo em baixo ou acima dependendo dos botões, um erro básico que já devia estar resolvido. E seria bem útil ter um sistema de reconhecimento de músicas repetidas para não tocar a mesma duas vezes seguidas.

Worst ever music app.
I truly despise this app. I paid for the premium version and yet I can only add one song at a time and sometimes the song disappears as soon as I add it. Every two or three days every song in my library disappears or is somehow clipped to only 10 seconds each. There are many other problems with usability, but let’s just say this is definitely the worst music app I’ve ever used. It’s infuriating and makes me see red every time I try to use it. and there’s literally no customer service to help with all these issues. You failed Google.
Songs are not advancing on their own! :-(
I love this app. It’s very nice to listen to all songs that I have on it. However, I can’t get the songs to advance on their own without playing them after this song ends. For example… I have tried to get the songs to play on their own many times through Settings. But… There’s no way to do this. I will, play a song and… It will finish. Then… It will get me to play the next song again. This needs to be fixed. :-)
Use with caution! Beware!
The developer has opted to display the worst kinds of advertisements in this app. The kind that pop up and say “warning iPhone storage almost full” with a link to…god knows where. When, in fact the warning has nothing to do with your specific phone. In other words “ads” that realty just tricks. Its deceptive and morally bankrupt. Hold no one other than the developer responsible for this insult. It was he, after all who chose to present this content to you. BEWARE!
It has helped me but I hope to see more from this app in the near future
I enjoy this player and it has helped me repeat songs and albums from my Google Drive. However, now that I am researching other options, is not competitive with other apps like it because it is only for Google Drive. Please add One Drive and other cloud services. There are some issues with songs stopping and not continuing to the next track and metadata/pictures loading for songs that are not correct.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Still the best. One suggestion, when i skip a song that’s set to repeat 🔂, it should auto disable repeat for one song and switch to repeat for all songs🔁. UPDATE: Still great, app is working flawlessly. 😎 Works perfect for Google Drive music!! Exactly what i was looking for thank you! Even auto updates album images so your songs always have the album cover. Very cool and useful
Won’t play any of the songs it shows in my library
Whenever I try to play a song that it has linked, the play button turns into a pause button but there is a spinning circle around it like it’s buffering. In about 10 seconds it stops and just turns into a play button again. I’ve not been able to play any music through this app and I payed $9.99 for it. Waste of money, even if it were free. Very disappointed!
Great App to play songs from Google drive!
I had sent a request to fix some issues last year and were taken care of in reasonable time. My new request is make the search functionality work in a reliable manner and I will then make it a five star rated app 👍🏽Thank you!

the app itself is aesthetically pleasing, however it did not load 90% of my files and even if it did, i am not able to select multiple files at once so it’s a hassle

I have been searching for a long time for a music player to listen to my Google Drive files on the go especially in the car. I have tried pretty much all of them in the App Store. GoPlayer is by far the best. I thought it was so great after five minutes of use decided to go for the pro upgrade. I’m disappointed less than 24 hours later the app constantly crashes after five minutes. I’m going to leave room for the developer to respond with maybe a fix or some settings adjustments that I can change to avoid this app crashing.

See above. Downloaded tracks? Crash. Reopen and try again? Maybe makes it through one song, then crash. Restart phone and try again? Crash. Streaming from Drive? Crash. iPhone 13 mini here, not exactly an old device. I’m sure this app was great at some point based on historical reviews, but, sorry, deleting it.

Always crashing when changing songs
The app is great in connecting to a cloud service like Google Drive and playing songs online , but is TERRIBLE when changing to another song in your Playlist, or even manually choosing another song. As soon as you try, it crashes and you have to open it again. And it will be a continuous annoying ongoing cycle of opening, choosing, crashing. I even had to request a refund for the Pro version that I got too soon thinking it would be a great app as this was happening. Developers need to fix this.

Crashy & limited free functionality
Installed on my iPhone to play .MP3’s; crashes every time I change tracks. Only allows 3 playlists (does unlock briefly if you watch an ad). Too much hassle.
Super Buggy and crashes but I can make it work.
It’s super super buggy. but after I got everything added, and I fix the app the way I want it to. I can just get on there and hit play and exit the app and everything runs smooth but if you’re in the app too long messing with it, it’ll crash, which is kind of stupid. But for the sake of unlimited and not a monthly rate I’ll take what I can get with the Pro one time charge.
Good app for taking back full control if one’s music collection
After some annoying design choices by streaming services, I decided it was time to bail on internet streaming and get back to owning/playing my own music. This app is the best I’ve found to allow me to do that from my collection of mp3 files stored on Google drive. 4 stars because it works well in general, but a little buggy. *edit - they updated the app! Works excellently again! Good by streaming services. Back to old school mp3 of my own music for me.

it’s a good player, it gets the job done, nothing super fancy which is perfectly fine. my only bone to pick with this app is as of recent, when i decide i want to skip a song or go pick another song entirely, the app will crash and i’ll have to go back into it. It does this every time i change songs, which is really really inconvenient. other than that though everything is fine
Great idea, but issues
I recently downloaded the iOS version of GoPlayer and purchased the PRO version for my iPad (iOS version 16.2). I wanted to be able to play mp3 files of tracks ripped from my vinyl collection that are stored on my Google drive. The songs are stored in folders by album. I don’t want to download the files to my iPad. It was great that I was able to connect to my Google drive folders. The player works great to play one mp3 file, but: 1) When the song finishes, it seems to start playing the next one, which is good, but the app then crashes after a few seconds. I was hoping to be able to play all the songs in the “album” folder. 2) Ideally, I would like to be able to choose the “All Albums” folder on my Google drive and have the app play recursively through each of the sub-folders. 3) email sent to the developer bounced back
Poor since the iOS update.
Used to work perfectly. Always used to listen to my google drive playlists during my workouts. Once I upgraded to ios 16, it force closes probably about 8-10 times during workout time. Pretty frustrating. If fixed, would work great

App used to be great but now I can’t listen to more than 1 song without the app crashing. Other reviews and forums online stats the same. Pretty sad.
Randomly crashing while playing music
At first it wasn’t that bad, but now it’s happening more often even after restarting the app and I can’t even send feedback because it says my Device (Phone) is not configured to send mail.

When I search up a song, play it, and then try to search another song and play a it, the app crashes. Makes it unusable. Please fix.
Keeps crashing
It’s not a bad app for what it’s worth , I love that you can upload your songs from google drive and play it in sequence (what a player is suppose to do) but it’s getting annoying now because at first it was good and now it jus keeps crashing every time I press the “next” button to go to the next song . That’s why I give it 3 stars

I ended up paying for the pro version because I thought it would work better and I can’t get the playlist to play. After each song, it cuts out and quits. I would love to have my money back
