Handles untagged files very poorly
I wanted an app to play rough mixes stored in Dropbox, which are often untagged wav files. Well these are effectively impossible to work with in this app because they don’t appear in the app at all. It just shows an Unknown album with no songs. If songs are tagged, great! Otherwise please let me just point at a folder and play it like an album.
A bug and missing features
Pretty good overall but there’s a bug where random (?) songs will double in length, and the doubled half will just be silence. Also, I have to pay to download my files to my own device? Lol

No way to "download all" from Google Drive
I've been searching for a good offline mp3 player for a long time since my old one got taken off the app store, and this one looked extremely promising- well made, decently intuitive - but getting tracks offline from Google Drive has been a big pain since there's no way to download all at once. I'm not about to go through all 3,000 of my tracks one by one, so I think I'll be continuing my search. I really hope this feature gets added however, I'd genuinely be back in a heartbeat.

Issues between tracks
I steam live music compressed as mp3 from a Box account. And it works pretty well, except between tracks it can “stutter” sometimes for 15-30 seconds.
Not what I’d hoped
I have an extensive music collection that is bought & paid for. Looking for an app where I can play my music & organize it in a particular way. I used iTunes for a few years but they changed to Apple Music & pressure us into subscriptions & recurring charges. All my music is now stored in Apple Music on my phone. There’s no option to import from Apple Music into Cloud Beats & there’s no option to transfer playlists from Apple Music to the cloud. I’d have to upload each individual song into Files or Dropbox or something & then re-make all my dozens of playlists I’ve perfected over the years. No, thank you. There isn’t an option to make playlist folders in Cloud Beats anyways. (To store multiple playlists in one folder). I need something so simple that it doesn’t seem to exist. I just want program to store my tunes, organize them in a specific way & play them. That’s it. No streaming, no ads, no subscriptions. I’d pay a one-time fee, of course. Somebody make this app, please. Pretty please?

I have really been enjoying this app! In today’s modern app music platforms it’s really hard find an app that lets you enjoy your own downloaded music. Really simple to use and download music! 5🌟
Would not connect to local server
Other apps can, so I suppose there’s a problem with this app.
Stops playing
Nice app except it hangs up when it tries to play the next song. I have to press the forward button or the backward button to get it to start playing again and then skip forward or back to the song it hung up on. Using it with my OneDrive account. PS read a lot of reviews about giving this app access to all your files on OneDrive. This isn’t a problem if you encrypt your sensitive files before uploading to cloud. If your allowing Microsoft or Google to see your personal data it’s no worse to let this app see it.
It works, but weirdly.
It plays music from OneDrive, which is what I wanted. But a weird interface. I just want to select an album and click play, instead I have to add to up-next (or something similar) and then wait for the current track to end. And then the old album starts playing from wherever you left off when the new album has finished. I don’t know, maybe this functionality makes sense to some people but I find it confusing.
It’s so buggy and it takes forever to load just one song. 🎧
This app would have been better if it wasn’t so buggy and It takes forever to load just one song like its trying its best just to load one song. And the audacity to add a “premium” version of the app when it’s literally so buggy and the whole UI is so messy.
Indispensable: It Just Works
It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well. An easy way to make playlists of music from my Google Drive and elsewhere. This app has been reliable for over a decade. Rock solid. Honestly if you’re a music junkie it’s a desert island app.
Queue Limited
Queue of songs is limited to only a certain number of songs, even though I paid for the app.
Add Functionality
I do like this app, however please add the ability to add folders to playlists instead of having to open each folder and selecting files. I believe other apps are already doing this
Disappearing files
Love the app BUT you must fix this problem: As I load folders/files from iCloud, files that were previously present disappear. I have 230 folders containing an average of 70 songs each in iCloud. I forced iCloud to download them so that all the content is present on my iPhone 12pro Max with 512 GBs of memory with over 250 Gbs free. After adding then I noticed that many of the folders were missing files. Not just 1 or 2 but up to 75 out of the 100 in the iCloud folders.

No way to restore your purchase from android to iOS. If you bought on android, it has to stay on android.
Add function?
Could you add “crossfade playback” for both paid for and free version? It would allow those that listen to there music to let there songs play without any silence as it switches to the next
Hideous looking
Not a very good looking app. OneDrive only shows 10% of all my music. No “tracks” list - only artists, albums, and genres. VLC is a better alternative and of course, that’s free.
Google Drive Permission
I like the app but it requires edit and delete permissions for Google Drive. How about just view/read? I don’t want a 3rd party to edit any of my files, or the app accidentally deleted them.

Sketchy at best
It’s great. When it works. Despite having both 5G signal and Wi-Fi, sometimes it just refuses to play. Have tried clearing cache, restarting the app, everything. Works for about 10 mins then nothing. Very disappointing. Gonna look for something else.
No equalizer
Seems like a good app, but can’t find volume or app-only volume.
Missing albums and app freezes
I bought the app installed it on my iPad Pro + Samsung mobile device and linked it to my Dropbox account, scanned my Dropbox music to make sure I got all my tunes in one place but lots of albums show empty folders in the CloudPlayer app. I also can’t use it with my chrome cast it connects brings up the song + album art then skips each and every song on the album, the albums play just fine when I don’t cast. Looking for a different app, pretty useless if I can’t access my music even after purchasing an app to do so.
Buffering could be cleverer
I have a fairly large music collection on OneDrive and I use this application to stream it while commuting to work. The application works fairly well overall, but when my network connection is weak, playback often stops, especially between songs. It seems to me that the main reason behind this is that the app only starts to buffer a song when you hit play on it, there is no predictive buffering like in the case of Spotify or Amazon Music, where the upcoming 1 or 2 songs are buffered in advance.

Best way to download ripped music to make a custom album
Another fake app
it can't actually play songs from Dropbox, even though it says you can. This app is either totally fake or it has a hidden "gotcha" condition (like requiring payment or it can't play normal files), which makes it deceitful still. i'm worried what data it has collected about me since downloading it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS
It needs equalizer
Everything works perfect. The only thing is that doesn’t cones with equalizer.
Support doesn't support
Due to unknown reason some tracks are not shown by the app. Calls for support haven't been heard. Bad luck, overall this is a really nice app. That is to say, if something doesn't work for you, don't waste your time trying to contact authors.
Needs a delete button for saved skips
There seems to be a problem deleting a saved tag/skip in music file. For each song there is a way to save a spot in music file where u can jump to that section of the song. The problem is that you can't delete it right away. There is no delete button. You have to exit the app and close it out completely (dbl tap home button on phone to close app) before u can delete the saved skip tag by pressing the save button again. Too many steps to get to deleting.

Amazing! One small fault for me
Amazing app! Finally I can stream all my music from google drive! The streaming is fast, consistent, and clean. The one downside for me is that the iOS version doesn’t have an audio equalizer, which I make great use of on my iphone music app. If they ever add an equalizer for iOS this will surely be a full five star from me.

Any chance of implementing alphabetical jump list support? Probably a cloud API limitation. I have 1000s of artist folders. I really wish the lite version allowed the download of a few tracks so I could trial local library management before purchasing. 2 thumbs up for gapless playback!!!!!!!
User oriented app
This app is so smart and just does what it has promised. It even downsizes a song’s title to fit with the compacted playlist view. This practice is very rare nowadays; lots of apps care only about paywalls and ads instead of those details.
All inputs bar one have vanished!
The help doesn’t help. Unclear if it’s broken, I’m missing something, or you only see the inputs (google drive etc) if paying for professional version.
