A very efficient mobile banking. I depend on it heavily. It’s great!

Gets stuck on a screen and have to close and open again. Or I have to delete it and reload on my iPhone.

Business account and lost checking account rewards

Simple to use but could use some tweaks
The original app allowed for subtotals when transactions were filtered. That’s a great feature. I’m not sure how a new App did not include that feature.

Annoying Verify Identity Feature
I really don’t get this feature. It ask you verify your identity but all it does is cause you to have a longggggggggg wait before the “yes it’s me” pop up. A code is supposed to be sent, but that never happens. This code doesn’t make sense, I’m sure a tester called it out but was ignored.
Must Consent to Paperless Docs
In order to continue using this app, you must consent to go paperless, otherwise you have to submit to them an actual paper letter or visit the local branch in person, if you still want to get paper statements. I do not think this is a good app for that inconvenience.

Since the update I can't use the app on my phone to login. I get a message saying it needs to verify I'm human. Then it just keeps buffering and never moves past that screen. Used to be great I used the phone app all the time with no problems.
Location always on
The app itself is decent. It fulfills all the things I need it to, and makes it easy to transfer money around. Last week it prompted me to turn on location. Which I didn’t want to do but it was adamant about it. I did it so I could log in, but then noticed something was always using my location in the background. It was this app? Why is it constantly using location when in the background?
Too slow
I absolutely love the app but it freezes so much and it’s so slow. Great app, just need to fix minor issues.

App Notifications Push Ads
Notifications for purchases and usage of account/card also push advertisements for outside services (restaurant subscriptions). This feature cannot be disabled; all notifications must be turned off. Fraud detection is now more difficult….very disappointing move from the Citidel
Not so good on usability
Not so good on usability... Doesn’t display credit card information properly like last statement balance, due date etc. Good for checkings and savings

Update: Alex from Citadel reached out directly to me. He found the issue on their end and quickly resolved it. It’s a shame that it took a review on here to get someone to work with me, especially since I reached out to my local branch, their customer service number, and customer service chat. Original post: For the last month, every time I try to use this app there’s a request to update my information. My information is accurate. The only way I can use the app is to keep changing my address from “Road” to “RD” and back again. Each time, I must verify it is me making the change. Calls to my local branch and to the 800# have been zero help. No one seems to care. I wonder if they will care when I move all my money to another bank.
It does what it does
The mobile Citadel App is easy and convenient. My wife and I used it to set up and pay for our HELOC, and now I monitor all of my accounts in one stop. The only thing that is strange is asking for a bigger line of credit. Most banks have something quick you can apply with right through the app. With Citadel, while it may start with the app, you will swiftly be notified by email and have to go through a lengthy approval process. At least this was the case for me when I increased the limit on my credit card i have with them. User experience may vary?
