New update
New update does not have Face ID for Apple users to log in. The login screen is very basic and appears sketchy. Not a fan of the app now
Latest update
This last update you did a few days ago completely messed up my app. I used to be able to quickly and efficiently access my banking info now I can’t use Face ID or Siri. So es I checked the settings and they weren’t changed. It’s a pain in the butt to keep putting in all my login info and keep confirming it’s me. Please fix it
Good app
App is easy to use
Frustrated
When I’m trying to login to make a car payment, I get so frustrated. It continues to go to the white screen and just keep running without opening the app. I have to try several times before it will leave open praying my car payment is not gonna be late.
Length of time
It’s a good credit union to be a part of, however I wish they would make it easier to transfer your own money to your own account or to another account you have with another banking system. It takes entirely too long. And they do not use Zelle.

I really like that Members 1st makes you verify your identity, makes me feel safe that my account is always safe, thank you, Members 1st
What happened?
I loved having Face ID after having a child due to me not remembering any of my login and you updated and then took it away
Overall good app
Overall the app does what is expected. But it has room to grow. Feature Request: Could the ability be added to manually add a transaction and match them when they finally come out. Like say I schedule a bill, I want to manually add that to my recent transactions as pending so that I know that hey that is coming out soon. Basically a digital check register. My old bank had this.
Mobile Deposit Used to be Great
I’ve used the M1st app for years. It’s mostly the same, but the new update to the mobile deposit feature is absolutely terrible. First, it takes you out of the app to upload images - feels sketchy, though I’m sure it’s fine. However now there’s also no auto-capture, no on-screen guidelines when taking photos of the check, and I’m getting mysterious errors when trying to upload the endorsement photos. For example - how is there a “cropping error” when my check is in full view in the photo? I have no context to tell me how to adjust anything. The in-app text touting “mobile deposit is now even easier!” is just not true. Please, please return to the old mobile deposit format. This feels like a regression, not a new or streamlined feature.
App is changing too much
It seems every time I log in the app has changed and how I have to use features changes; especially the important one like Bill Pay. Not sure who or how they get input on for these “improvements” but sometimes it seems they just make the banking more confusing and more complicated to use.

App was great until recently
I have had no issues with this app until maybe a month or two ago. Now every time or every other I try to sign in it says authentication failed. I have had to change my password multiple times because it ends up locking me out of my account.
Speed of app
For some reason the app has gotten slower in the past month. Not sure what happened. Hopefully next update will fix that. Thank you!
Great App
Lots of banking features. Lots of banking options. Lots of security features. Makes it easy to manage money.
Doesnt work
Doesnt work. At all. Requires a pin to sign in but when you attempt to recover this pin then return to the app the loading circle keeps swirling and never allows you to do anything. Completely worthless.
Needs more alert options
When I was with M&T I was able to get a text every morning with my account balance. As well as when it got below a certain point or a deposit happened. I have the last 2. But I would like to have my balance sent every day.
Transfers
They moved the transfer menus, took me five minutes to figure out how to transfer money from checking the savings
Mobile App
Most of the time no issues but, when transferring money to outside bank ( especially CIBC bank), after I enter all the details, screen blanks out ( grayed)- nothing happens! Can’t even log out. I just have to turn the phone off! I have communicated with your staff member, don’t know it was brought to upper management or IT group. Thanks, Matu
Terrible credit union
It’s like pulling teeth to get someone to help you, the app force logs out in the middle of unhelpful chat with agents. They refuse to troubleshoot issues. I’m seeing an error on my screen and the agent said no LOL

White screen
Banking app refuses to let me log on. Using iPhone 17 Pro, app always worked until now . 4 hours,3 people, no help! Went to my branch, no help!

Useless
App is useless, can’t pay my credit card and check my account because all I get is a white screen when I try logging in.Got a new phone hoping it would fix the issue and didn’t so I guess I’ll delete the app.

No help
This review isn’t for the app but the bank as a whole. Members 1st is completely useless if you don’t already have credit history. Unfortunately I don’t so I applied for the most likely credit card and was not approved because I don’t have credit history. I can’t get a loan because I don’t have a credit history. I can’t get a credit history because I don’t know why. Least helpful bank.
